WRONG!
Composing threads with merit begging attitude in mind will somehow get your ideas stucked at low levels.
In my experience, simply thinking of what I can contribute to discussions which I would like to participate in. That's all at the start, and should be like this during thread-composing period.
Honestly, I can not make a good thread if I have merit-begging attitude and don't focus on how to really contribute to discussions.

It's fine to post with gaining merits in mind.

Out of context! What I said is this

Quote from: Potato Chips
It's fine to post with gaining merits in mind. After all that's one of the reasons why the system is introduced - to improve post quality

If you had taken account all of that you'll know I didn't mean it that way. When I said "it's fine", it's for the reason that merit is used to rank up and in order to gain one, you will need to post something substantial. In other words it could become a stepping stone for someone to stop shit posting - to actually polish his posts.

One of the reasons the system is introduced is to get rid or shit posters/account farmers. And the above situation is the ideal outcome. But of course, not everybody would take it that way which is why I advised to stop prioritizing it because:

Quote from: Potato Chips
I've seen some users with alike mindset and they are more focused on gaining merits rather than the discussion which resulted in not gaining any obviously.

I'm talking about those people posting unnecessary tutorials, plagiarizing etc..

What account?

You can use it as a currency but please note that most merchants does not accept it; limited usage

Yes you can buy using your credit card: How to Buy Bitcoin with Credit Card or Debit Card Online

You don't really have to be savvy, you just need to understand the basics (you can search in google).

2363  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to identify a good blockchain project? on: July 19, 2018, 12:03:41 AM
You need to check everything that relates on the ICO - verify that all information is true and reasonable.

Also, it's worth checking out the guidelines on how to spot a scam ICO in the internet, it'll help you (Just google it)
2364  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you introduce Bitcoin? on: July 18, 2018, 11:04:22 PM
If you don't know anything, you can't teach anything therefore you have to learn it yourself first. Judging from your question, you still lack knowledge, you should be able to answer your question once you've done that - to know the right approach.

2365  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit Earn Question on: July 18, 2018, 09:46:49 PM
As long as you are not begging merits and only post substantial things, you should be fine.

Busting cheaters is good; it contributes in the forum hence, it is substantial
If you aren't mentioning "please merit me" or anything along the lines in every post you made, you are not begging.
If you aren't sending PM's to any user asking for merit, you are not begging.

It's fine to post with gaining merits in mind. After all that's one of the reasons why the system is introduced - to improve post quality but I suggest that it shouldn't be your priority. I've seen some users with alike mindset and they are more focused on gaining merits rather than the discussion which resulted in not gaining any obviously.

For now I hold them in Bittrex Wallet hope will not be scammed

No, Read:

It's not recommend to use exchanges as a wallets. You should keep coins/tokens in a wallet where you have full control of your funds. You shouldn' keep big amounts of money on exchanges because there are many stories about hacked exchanges, locked funds of users and etc.

Also, are you familiar with the huge amount of scam accusations and complaints about them?

2367  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is WONO going to take crypto mainstream? (please vote in the poll!) on: July 18, 2018, 12:05:51 AM
How can you be so sure when it hasn't even launched yet? There's a lot of projects which did had potentials but failed to utilize it which is the reason why you need to give it sometime and see how it grows.

And if bitcoin would go mainstream it wouldn't be because of a single entity, a few or a lot of factors would probably contribute to that though each would be different in terms of scope. Imo the biggest obstacle right now is gaining people's trust, if something could budge it then it would play a big role in this.

Uhhh but what do you mean by renting assets? Are you guys developing cryptocollectibles also?
2368  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market is Now GREEN, any underlying factor? on: July 17, 2018, 09:57:26 PM
yesterday the overall mood was relatively down still, but that changed today. It will probably mirror to the mainstream media outlets very soon and we will be flooded with one bullish article after the other. They know how to ride the flow of the market....

Yea true. The rise yesterday was relatively normal and I suspect most people are still anxious of the possibility that we could still go further down or break $7k - anything could happen. And now that we hit $7K, some people (or a lot??) took it as a green light and are slowly hyping it, I'am seeing it now in SNS. The crypto-focused media's seems to be joining as well.

2370  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 4 more days until the Binance killer is LIVE on: July 16, 2018, 11:39:23 PM
They must be doing some kind of promotion for this and the users could also be participating not just for the exchange but for their token as well (TIO - Price is increasing tho) so don't get swayed in whatever claim you read. You should determine first if it is backed by good reasoning. Clearly, This binance-killer is a weak claim mainly because trade.io hasn't launched yet. Give it some time and see how it goes

Ahh yea I knew it they're spamming

Where did you find this? I can't access it  Undecided can you check it again?

Anyhow I did a whois and google search. Site is new, anonymous and has no reviews - can't find anything, not even listed on coinmarketcap, livecoin, worldcoinindex

Thanks a lot!

I just applied Mco aka Monaco, downloaded the app, provide them all the requested data and it's pending approval. I'll keep updating.

Hmmmm... Is that a pre-registration? or the real thing? Last time I check they were still testing the cards.

I'm honestly considering them if wirex takes too long to support asian countries.
2374  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: wnp.com scam? on: July 16, 2018, 03:33:46 AM
Hi, this is admin from WNP.com.

Yes, this domain was purchased at a high price. Our company was started in 2017. We chose it because we thought it is a name easy to remember.

About featured clients, we added it when we were only a just started company. We have contacted some cooperator and asked them to write testimonials for us. We were about to change it when it is enough. And now we will change it as soon as possible.

We are not native speakers of English and now we will invest money into spellchecking.

Despite the questions above, we are a paying site definitely. We have made payments of more than 250. If we do not pay, we will send an e-mail and tell the reason.

Thank you

Still there's no denying you tried to deceive your clients. Whatever circumstances it may be, it is wrong to do that. You do realize that trust is the foundation of every business.

Errr... So you're trying to say, out of those 250+ clients, only 2 did a review?

Sorry but such statements right now aren't enough to redeem yourselves
2375  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Exchange Listing Fees on: July 16, 2018, 03:18:27 AM
I honestly wonder now if there's any coin that still gets listed the "traditional" way... because it's good and the service thinks they would like to serve the community further. I think now casinos are the only ones that list without a fee.

That would be nice, devs would be able to utilize their funds that way. But we need an inside information to know that right? since there's no transparency.
And the authorities are more concerned in making sure the users are clean.

I know HitBTC was shite, but Cryptopia? The way they've just gone under, repeatedly showing their ineptitude, and yet still being able to command that kind of fee?

You said it! and seeing that you need to pay with their coin and buy a shitload of them, it's actually two birds in one stone.
2376  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CoinsMarkets.com IS DOWN! on: July 15, 2018, 11:03:23 PM
Any updates from this exchange?

Site is still offline and It's been more than a month (or two??) since we last heard from them. I can only assume they had run away  Sad

The colx team though did investigate about them and concluded the colx (from CM's wallet) were sold off to cryptopia and crypto-bridge

Write them from this page: https://tpi.xapo.com/contact-us/?lang=en

This doesnt wark because I should login, but I cant login, because I am not verified.

There's an option for those who cannot log in. You could use that even if your problem doesn't fit to any of the listed category, there might be a chance they'll read it.

Hello guys. Ive got scammed so many time by trying to purchase pm voucher and out of my desperation I decided to ask you for help. Do you know any legit website that can sell me a voucher? Thank you very much in advance.

It is called e-voucher I think. If you go to your perfectmoney account and click the tab "deposit" you will see one of the option that us called e-voucher.

I would lime to purchase that but it looks like nearly everyone who "sells" them in the web is a scammer.

Ah yes! Vouchers/Coupons/gift cards in any site - nearly everyone who sells them (here) are scammers which is why you should use an escrow for every transaction.

I did try to search on google but every site I found is either suspicious or confirmed scam  Undecided.
