2282  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello what section I can left announcement ? on: November 02, 2018, 11:41:13 PM
Uhm just gonna add that ANN threads are vital in attracting clients so if you know you aren't good in that field, much better to hire someone experienced to do it for you!
Check out the list of designers here Overview of Bitcointalk Designers, be sure they are offering "ANN threads" in one of their services.

And you don't seem to poses a good grammar skill in english, I wonder how you will create a "professional video review on different ICO and others projects"
or are you perhaps part of a team or something?
2283  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Don't use ChangeBTC.bit on: November 01, 2018, 06:56:08 PM
Oh and have you ever tried shapeshift?
Shapeshift is already needed some KYC before you can use them out so its up to our choice if we proceed or not.I tried changelly inspite on having lots of issues but small conversion do works fine on me.

Thanks for the heads up man! Just saw their blog post, although the loyalty member is nice, I don't really think its worth giving your identity for, and it isn't as convenient as before which is a huge turn off for me. Also I'm traumatized to other sites which service turned poor after implementing mandatory kyc hence I wouldn't recommend them, gonna be seeing how it goes.

Pretty sure there's still plenty of alternatives out there which doesn't require you a KYC unless you're planning to exchange a huge amount of money, but i would prolly just do my quick conversions on binance too.

Oh and alfacashier.com really does seem legit!, also doesn't seem to have a mandatory kyc, tho I'm guessing they might ask you if you get flagged.
Changelly and changenow have some fishy activity but I guess its still okay for small conversions huh? Well, I also tried a few small trades (.01 -.02btc) on hitbtc when their issues are on peak, suprisingly had a smooth one.

Take a look at this, bunch of newbies with the same username pattern, necro-posting and spamming a referral link in Marketplace section. Since its prolly a bot, its very likely that the person/s behind them will come back with another accounts, will update this list when that time comes

2285  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can you make your own "section" somewhere for your own ICO? on: November 01, 2018, 01:53:18 AM
Hmm. I think you meant thread/s tho  An example of a section is "Beginners and help" and a thread is this (Can you make your own "section" somewhere for your own ICO?).

So creating a section is a NO but creating a thread is a yes and doesn't require any rank to do so, although take note that newbies can't post images which are vital in creating a visually pleasant announcement thread so you may wanna avail the copper membership which would lift that restriction.
2286  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Don't use ChangeBTC.bit on: November 01, 2018, 01:35:42 AM
Alright. This changebtc is hella fishy!!! It's basically unknown, newly registered (last year december) and isn't peer reviewed. Hell, there's hardly any reviews about them. The website is pretty much meh, too simple and you can only exchange a few cryptos which are bch, eth and btc. Can't find a reason why would I use this

And if you wanna trade to profit, much better if you'll use an exchange like binance where you can properly monitor the price, the ones you listed are best for quick conversions in case you need a certain cryptocurrency

I also don't understand this conclusion

Quote from: SatHunter
So if ChangeBtc.bid is a scam, I have to assume the other ones are too. I'll update this if my coins do arrive.

Lastly just a heads up, theres some fishy stuff going on in changelly, be cautious. Oh and have you ever tried shapeshift?
2287  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where do you watch new coins? on: October 31, 2018, 11:34:19 PM
Hmm, strange capitalization on these exchanges is different, what is the reason?

Good question! It's probably because they have a different way of calculating/different source, and, the number of exchanges could also play part since some includes korean markets.
2288  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can one of you guys with some SIG skills!? on: October 30, 2018, 09:47:21 PM
Uhm, what do you mean by give credit? is it just like "hey this xxxnamed user made this for us" or are you going to pay with money?

The only users I saw who has done sigs for free are mostly the ppl who are just starting, since they have to build up some trust. They're mostly on Services board.

Now if you do have money to pay for it, that makes things easier! Just go through this list of Overview of Bitcointalk Designers, pick an artist who does sigs, check their works, fees etc.. and if you're fine with it, contact them.
2289  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where do you watch new coins? on: October 30, 2018, 03:32:11 AM
There's no such thing from what I know, you have to use as many sources as you can, of course you should always pick the right one, you can't have a site which has wrong or outdated infos right?

There are sites like coinmarketcap which list cryptocurrencies that are already trading in some exchanges, but please note that not all of them are there and they aren't listed as soon as the coin goes live in its first exchange. There's a process and sometimes it takes time which is why you should also use a similar site like them:

If you want to stan coins before they go live in an exchange, listen to mjglqw. and you could also use some ico rating sites like icobench. Just a heads up about this one, its more risky cause they might never be listed in an exchange, lots of scamming going on basically.

Lastly, don't be too impulsive, take time and read! Its money after all
2290  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Estrahash.com on: October 30, 2018, 02:55:37 AM
Most likely a scam, would recommend to stay away.

Let me give you some reasons on why you should take my advice. First is, it isn't peer reviewed, the site was registered 2017/12 so isn't it fishy that theres nothing about them when you search on google? well, you can't really trust anything that isn't peer reviewed.

Second, anonymous site, whois protected

Third, cheap looking website, its awful, its like a $1 site. You'll see the effort they made  Roll Eyes

Fourth, No reversible payments accepted. There's only cryptocurrency which is irreversible and this cash on delivery which is only avail when you order in bulk, buuut they said you have to contact them first so you can't really trust on that unless you know what they'll say.

Lastly is their facebook account, idk but I find this suspicious, theres  some private accounts who comments on the page, others are so-so but they had little number of friends.
2291  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: HTC Exodus - The first major blockchain smartphone on: October 25, 2018, 05:44:14 PM
Hmm.. I could probably get a phone with a specs like that in a cheaper price, so I guess the reason why it's priced like that, is because of the cryptocurency features.

And there's really not much info on their site about it (its prolly not worth the money tho). Well anyways, If someone reading this is planning to buy, I would suggest to wait for some reviews first unless you're super rich.
2292  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Planning to create a Multi vendor Marketplace with BTC - Any advice? on: October 24, 2018, 06:46:36 AM
Oh man, There's already lots of that. If there's no twist that is different from the others, you'll just be adding this to their lump of clones. Think of something different that can be your "selling point". After that hire a marketing team and start promoting. Some servicess/products are great and had potential but you can't really utilize it without doing a proper promotion.
2293  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What places do you do your shopping online ? on: October 23, 2018, 08:01:14 PM
I usually use our local online shops because of faster delivery + cheaper shipping fee's. The ones I always use are lazada and shoppee.

Since buwaytress mentioned food delivery service, yes I too use it often too since there's just times when you're too lazy too cook. Nothing fancy tho, it's all from fast food chains like Mcdo, KFC, jollibee etc..  Cheesy

And for books, me and my friend use book depository!
2294  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cheapest store to buy online cigarettes in UK on: October 22, 2018, 09:36:36 PM
Never tried any of that but just did a few digging about them and the result was, except for dutyfreeking, they are pretty much peer reviewed. If you do a google/bing search about them e.g. [site]+ reviews, it's all over, there's even lots on youtube.

I suggest to go see these reviews yourself, or If you want, you can try buying a few first for testing.

Oh and CigsSpot has an account here!, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=757054
2295  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to advertise (A bitcoin game) on: October 22, 2018, 09:06:07 PM
Sorry, totally forgot about this!

#1 Would you mind to explain me a bit more in which section of the forum I should create the ANN Thread?

I believe that was answered already. Just wanna add, you might wanna hire someone to do it: Overview of Bitcointalk Designers

#2 Would you mind to tell me where is the broken Discord link? Here is a working link: https://discord.gg/Un7CyV

<https://play.bitofwar.com> There's discord logo there and when i click it, I just get redirected to my dashboard, nothing happens
And the invite link expired ;;; it'll be better to post a permanent one.

How does the game work?
-snip-

Oh alright! I just tried the game and same as the others, there's no one there except me, i cri

The game is pretty simple and honestly speaking, i'm not a fan of simple games in pc but on mobile, yes. It's prolly cause i don't see myself playing them for months  Cheesy.
Maybe try broadening the game/world building. You can start with the place the tanks are on, since it's just an open space with nothing on it, you could add more boxes or other stuff which users can use as a shield and at the same time can shoot at! and it'll be better if users can buy them too, they could totally use it as a strategy.

The quests and events. Monthly events are nice like for example this month, halloween!! e.g. halloween-themed quests, items, avatars etc..
For quests, definitely do a you'll get xxx something after nth number of constant logins.

and a chatbox for players would be nice
2296  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: it seems my money has been stolen from Coinmama on: October 18, 2018, 12:05:47 PM
It's always a turn off when a user can't get ahold of the support team, and it seems you guys allegedly closed one of his tickets without giving a proper explanation :/ Man, It has always been a wonder to me why would services do that, I mean had they responded in a way where their customers are satisfied, they won't create lots of support tickets and post to some various forums smh

I wonder what would have happened if op didn't post here

Nevertheless, it still good you guys responded! please update us here @op
2297  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Asicminer.co has anyone heard of this company? on: October 18, 2018, 08:45:17 AM
I also recall looking at a vid from VoskCoin about the Asicminer 8 and seeing that the miner only hashed at 4TH/s with a possible serverside hashrate boost from ASICminer to make their BTC miner hit the advertised rate of 40TH/s. The thread about that is located here if you'd like to take a look at it, but it is interesting that ASICminer has their miners go through a web-based dashboard, and it makes me wonder what might happen if the ASICminer dashboard site were to go down, as it doesn't seem the miner is controllable locally.

Jesus, I also checked out the youtuber guy I was talking about in my previous post. So there's a new vid where apparently asicminer edited the worker info and when the guy confronted them, they bricked his hardware lmao

Vid link: Asicminer Zeon Review-ASICminer.co a SCAM?!? Find out why!
2298  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Method of removing $ 1,000 to $ 1500 within 2 months on: October 18, 2018, 07:56:53 AM
Alright let me get this clear, so getting $500 with a capital of $1000 in 2 months? and all in all you have a total pocket money worth of $15K?

Well, you can definitely do that in trading cryptocurrencies but as iasenko said, there is no way you can do it without risks, as it's always there.

  • Bigger capital means greater risk (But i guess it also depends on how you classify small and big amounts, for example If i have a savings of $100K, I can totally play with $1K)
  • The less experience and knowledge you have, the greater the risk
  • The greedier you are, the greater the risk
  • The less reputable exchange you use, the greater the risk

2299  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Suggestion Needed: where I can get free images to be used in writing. on: October 18, 2018, 07:19:57 AM
Definitely add images as it makes the article visually appealing! But improper usage could make it dull and meh

My advice is be sure to pick an image that really correlates to the content, if you know the saying (meme) on the internet called "images you can hear" you'll get what I mean cause I believe readers are supposed to feel something about it.

Secondly, don't use an image that reeks of "this is a stock photo", precisely these: One l Two. You can also tweak the pics a bit to make it to make it a little different from the others since a lot of ppl use stock images, nothing too fancy tho, less is more!

And regarding the licensing, every site I encountered has stated what you can do and can't with their pics so be sure look for that info first before using them! Some may not require you to edit and some may require you to give credits first etc.. There's lots of articles out there that lists sites where you can get them, just google/bing.
2300  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to advertise (A bitcoin game) on: October 17, 2018, 10:04:55 AM
Oh so it's connected to blockchain Shocked, interesting! but i'm really at loss on how it works haha. Maybe you guys could add a "HOW IT WORKS" or FAQ page? I'd like to get briefed first before I try playing the game

As for your question, from what I know facebook loosened their rules on crypto ads so in order to advertise there, you need to submit an application. And idk about twitch, sorry
For now, I recommend you to polish an ANN thread. Also, if you could run a campaign here, that's better

btw, tried to join your discord group but there's nothing :/
