2241  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Hacked blockchain account on: November 26, 2018, 01:11:20 PM
Bitcoin transactions are irreversible so once confirmed you can't do anything about it and I highly doubt the hacker would give your coins back.

What you can do now is to prevent it from happening again starting by changing your wallet. Web wallets isn't suited for storing large amounts of money cause of the risks you'll be exposing yourself, much better to switch to a hardware wallet, its not free but its worth the price. I think the 50% off in ledger nano s is still going on. If you're out of budget, go with electrum

Also just to be sure, clean every devices you logged in to.

Lastly, go and have a read (you also play a role in securing your wallet): Securing your wallet

2242  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is www.antminers.com.au a Legit Site? on: November 24, 2018, 05:44:58 PM
Potato Chips
How much you are getting paid from antminerdistribution? for advertising them?

enough to support everyone here in bitcointalk  ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)

But jokes aside, I am not LMAO. I was just stating what I found when I did some research at that time, which ofc can be verified! And saying good stuff about something doesn't necessary mean we are paid for it. Think about it this way, If I say good things about binance, does that mean they are paying an average person like me? Ofc not! I say this a lot but if a business is really legit, reviews will naturally come and ppl will talk about what they see.
2243  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bit-mania.net small game website were you can bet BTC LTC and DOGE on: November 23, 2018, 07:28:51 PM
Is this just a test site?

Probably. Overall, the site seemed unfinished to me, It actually looked like a school proj.

@op-

And please avoid explaining like you're just talking to your friend. Be formal, concise and speak in 3rd person.

Rules!
You can create games, in that case you choose the coin type, amount to bet in the game, the game type and your move and wait for a player to challenge you!

You can also play games created by an other player and be the challenger, in this case you only have to select your move and Go!

Curently we have 2 types of games, Rock Paper Scissors (do i really need to explain the rules?), and dice, for this one, the game creator just choose a number between 0 and 100 and the challenger have to guess if it is below 50 or equal/above 50.

That's it for the rule!

Also, I think you might know this but...
When you play, sometimes you lose, sometimes you win (thanks captain obvious...) so be smart and don't bet everything you've got in one game ;-)

You seem to have created the site for profits cause If so, you need to work on a lot of things and ofc you must have a decent money to spend upfront.
2244  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yochange.com - Your best assistant in the exchange of digital currencies! on: November 23, 2018, 06:24:11 PM
Website looks meh, doesn't give the professional vibe especially when I saw the big wall graffiti. Is that a theme or something? like street-theme? cause it doesn't look appealing.

Still 50-50 if you're trustable or not cause I can't find a review in english, but you guys seem to be only catering russian ppl, so reviews are maybe in that language which I dunno (yea giving the benefit of a doubt, but if given the chance I would still not use this) .

And if you only cater russian ppl, better post this in their local board.
2245  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Black Friday deals on: November 23, 2018, 05:06:22 PM
Okay good news! Ledger is doing a 50% off on nano S but only the on the matte black one, see here: https://www.ledger.com/products/ledger-nano-s

There's nothing on trezor tho  Undecided Oh well, the bundle deal they did last year wasn't that appealing to me in the first place.

Yeah I jumped on that deal and got me a new Ledger Nano S, paid with Bitcoin of course.

Good for you! Its a really nice deal, gotta say ledger managed to surprise me on this one as I was only expecting a 21% off.

and actually, scratch what I said regarding trezor, they do have one but it was announced a few hours later after I check.

Black Friday is here and we prepared for you the best deal of the year! Get a 33% discount for Trezor One + a cover of your choice or three Trezor Model T’s for a price of two! 😎

Sale ends on Sunday 25 Nov. Go ahead and visit our special landing page at https://bit.ly/2zmt3pQ

2247  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Introducing the Blockchain news website - very Helpful on: November 22, 2018, 05:02:39 PM
The purpose of the website is just to collect news for my convenience
I introduced here if someone likes to use it.
Otherwise, I know that such sites are not the subject of search engines

Why did you put some ads then? and its different now that you're sharing it. But then again, they prolly won't care since you're not taking decent revenues from them and staying low profile would lower the chance of them knowing its existence. although these are all chances and nothing guaranteed ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯

And yeahh, I too can't access the site, getting the same error as leowonderful.
2248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Decline until the end of the year? on: November 22, 2018, 11:58:48 AM
There's lots of uncertainty rn to the point that most sides has a decent chance of happening in my eyes. But whatever happen, my stance would still be the same and that is to hold and trade some portion of my holdings. The ups and downs are still there, market is still volatile so should your chances to profit.

And like any of you, I'm hoping that 2019 will be a good year for us!

uhh ok, sounds believable  Roll Eyes

Before creating that community management services, it'll be much better to establish yourself in this forum first otherwise, it would be really hard for ppl to trust you. Additionally, there's also the competition since well establish ones are already here, so the question of "why would people choose yours instead of them", would arise.
2250  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitinka Exchange do not withdraw money for 3 weeks on: November 21, 2018, 11:07:35 PM
You did nothing wrong! you just traded on an exchange where trades are meant to be done.

But 3 weeks is way too long, have you tried reaching out to their social media accounts? you can follow up your problem there.
2251  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: A catch in the blockchain.com XLM airdrop - KYC ! Thoughts ? on: November 21, 2018, 08:05:57 PM
Maybe this web wallet trying to avoid those abusers who used multiple accounts to farm the airdrops in XLM,

Could be, but there are other ways to do that because in the end, you can only prevent it. Others who has the ability to abuse the system will still exist.
But hey do you think blockchain.com will just give out money without a motive that ofc would benefit them? cause I don't think so. I mean companies don't do airdrops because they want to give out free money, its because they want to promote their coin.

Bottomline is, there must be a reason  on why blockchain.com required kyc and it must be some kind of marketing strategy again, that ofc would benefit them.

one of the trusted web wallet is this blockchain.com. Many crypto enthusiasts are currently using on this web wallet those who can't afford to buy in the offline wallet because you need to purchase on it.

You don't really need to use hardware wallets, you could get a desktop wallet which is free and is more safer than web wallets.

I personally passed my KYC on that web wallet I didn't hesitate my self to exposed my personal data because I trust that site.

Well good luck to you. But the thing about trust is, it doesn't guarantee anything, its just there to make us feel safe. At the end of the day, we're all just betting on chances.
2252  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Introducing the Blockchain news website - very Helpful on: November 21, 2018, 07:33:17 PM
hello
If you click the source
You are redirected to the main site
No stealing
The source of the content has been highlighted
If the source was not mentioned, it was stealed
good luck

What source? at the bottom of the article, you literally said you guys were the source?  Huh

And pretty sure it doesn't matter whether you put a proper attribution or not since you copied the whole article and published it in your site, unless ofc you got the author's permission for it, which doesn't seem like you do.

Making a news aggregator could be pretty tricky cause of copyright implications but the trick is just to just establish a mutual benefit. You see if you copied and publish their article in your site, you're basically stealing their revenue cause users don't have to go and read it on their site. So bottomline is to just make a title and link all those related articles.
2253  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is gshenusa.com trust worhty? on: November 20, 2018, 05:16:41 PM
Never trust anything that isn't peer-reviewed. These guys have been around for more than a year so if they're legit, there should be a couple of credible reviews about them.
In addition, they're everywhere which should've given them more publicity.

Try searching for gshenusa or gshenusa reviews, you'll see them in different forums advertising their site. Aaannnd I found an interesting thread: SPECIAL SALE OFFER ON CRYPTO MINING EQUIPMENT FOR HOBBYIST & INDUSTRIAL MINERS

And this is prolly them too, spamming on bitcoin.com forum: https://forum.bitcoin.com/post205055.html?hilit=gshenusa#p205055

2255  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Black Friday deals on: November 19, 2018, 12:47:01 PM
@Potato Chips
Well, I checked the Ledger and Trezor website and they announced nothing either their website or their Twitter account. There is one offer currently from Ledger but it isn't one for the Black Friday (it was about the Ledger Nano Color Edition with an up to 20% discount) I know they do some Black Friday I bought mine during a Black Friday.

I just haven't seen them announce it a few days early, so I was wondering if there's really no chance. I actually looked up their blog posts and tweets about black friday and the dates are either a day before or at the start.
2256  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Free Bitcoin Draw on: November 19, 2018, 12:12:51 PM
Welp. Wouldn't hurt to try but each person has a really low chance of winning so someone has to be REALLY lucky in order to win  Grin But what is the guarantee that the winner is a real user and is not in any way affiliated with them?

Also if anyone is interested in their event 2, just wanna remind you that you can't withdraw anything unless you verify your acc.
2257  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Problems on cryptomerchantbank.co on: November 19, 2018, 07:12:01 AM
Can I ask how did you guys come across to this unknown wallet? cause If you googled "bitcoin wallet" only the peer reviewed ones will show up.
My friend hooked me up with it, guess I just ended up getting fucked.

There's a huge possibility that this person is a part of its team. By friend, is it someone you know IRL or someone over the internet?

Think about it, there must be a motive on why they referred it to you and there's no way its because they are satisfied with their service since so far I don't see anything that could prove its legit. SO there's only one left which is, they tried to lure you on their site to take away the money you deposited.

Unless of course if there's some referral bonus going on everytime you refer someone and they are also getting fooled by it. But the thing is, I don't see anything like that on the site. Did they ask you to register using a referral link or enter a code/their username when you register?
2258  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Problems on cryptomerchantbank.co on: November 17, 2018, 05:23:27 AM
The site is highly likely to be a scam! In fact I think it is!

A user opened a thread about this a few days ago, have a read: cryptomerchantbank.co a scam BITCOIN WALLET??!!

Can I ask how did you guys come across this unknown wallet? cause If you googled "bitcoin wallet" only the peer reviewed ones will show up.
2259  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Vircurex.com a fraud ? on: November 17, 2018, 05:18:00 AM
I'm getting a 502 on vircurex.com now. I think it's gone.

Checked it and I'm getting the same error

Welp. They seemed dead even before the site was still up and running ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯

If they're gone, much sad for all the ppl who are still waiting to be compensated.

Why are you trying to mix them together? You can only pick one, you can't do them both. Anyone who joins a hyip can't expect it'll be honest and scam-free, at the same time, If you want something like that, you won't join hyips LOL

Please try to understand what hyips are first!
