2081  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How are moderators for crypto projects recruited? on: March 06, 2019, 01:41:06 AM
Each project would have their own criteria but whatever the case is, you would have to prove that you're capable of managing the campaign. If you have no past experience, it's gonna be tough to land your first few campaigns without an upper hand to those who do.

If I were you I'll also work on building my reputation in this forum so ppl can see me as reliable/with a good judgement (spend time here, read and help ppl). Pretty sure most renowned managers here become an established member first before they managed a campaign.
2082  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit exchange on: March 04, 2019, 05:29:03 PM
Hmm .. Good exchange, I have been trading for 2 years, there were problems with crediting funds and blocking my account, I wrote to the support service and within a week my question was resolved. I do not understand why there are so many bad reviews about this exchange? I think the traders themselves are to blame for their problems.

Because not everyone had the same experience as you. Well if anything, those great amount of negative reviews wouldn't exist out of thin air, it definitely says something.

And uhh If we're talking about faults, it's gonna depend on the problem itself, you can't just mark all of them with YobitDidNothingWrong, but looking at how the platform is run, there's one conclusion on my mind, that most are on them.
2083  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need debit card funded by bitcoin for online shopping with visa or mastercard on: March 03, 2019, 05:28:09 AM
It's gonna be hard for you to find a card like that. In fact I don't think there's anything like that right now 'cause all cards that I know are restricted to some countries, hence why kyc is really needed. But if you ever find one, it's gonna be with limits for sure.
2084  Economy / Exchanges / Re: anyone heard of Crypto-bex?? on: March 02, 2019, 05:03:32 AM
Op just passed by and asks if someone heard of this exchange. This is becoming popular that a newbie account drops by and asks if we ever heard of the website that they have found out. We don't know if you are part of that exchange's management or marketing

Yeahhh it's becoming popular but surely not everyone who ask for opinions are with ulterior motive and(or) somewhat affiliated with the given service/product. Honestly, I would only assume they are once they showed some strong signs like overly defending or praising them especially when it doesn't make sense anymore etc...

Being a newbie or even posting about it right after they register isn't enough of a sign imo, ppl could still register here to ask for help. Well, ofc assuming that the content of the post doesn't contain any "signs" too.
2085  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ***CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH COINPOT PLEASE!!*** on: March 02, 2019, 12:25:53 AM
but according to Coinpot that you need to require or include the 2fa secret key when you are requesting to reset your 2fa through email.

LOL. Does coinpot realize how useless is that? If users had the secret key, they can just use it to generate the codes(otp's) again themselves, hence there's no need to contact the support.

So, if you don't have the 2fa secret key it's useless and I am sure your account will be lose forever.

Welp true, this is a dead end for op.

@op, Next time try not lose your secret key, store it in somewhere safe and(or) use an auth app that has a backup feature e.g. authy, andOTP...
2086  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ***CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH COINPOT PLEASE!!*** on: March 01, 2019, 07:30:01 AM
Yeahh no one in here can help you as your problem needs someone from the inside to take action and there's no one like that in here. The only way to contact them is through email which isn't reliable from the looks of it. There's a lot of ppl who had the same prob as yours but so far, I haven't seen anyone who got in contact with their support.

Did you ever receive an automated reply saying that they got your request or you are in queque somewhere along those lines?
2087  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Just Started to Accept Bitcoin in my Espresso Bar on: March 01, 2019, 04:44:55 AM
Hey guys how you doing, hope y'all well.
I run a Pop-up Coffee Bar inside the Record Store in Camden / London.

Yesterday I announced that I accept Bitcoin for your caffeine fix:
https://twitter.com/Coffee_Tune/status/1100734272120475651?s=19

To make most of it I need a good list of Bitcoin Merchant Directories where I can add my business.

I added my business in few of them but I need much more. If you have a y link or any handy list, please share. Have a good one!

Hey this is nice! Best of luck to you bud! I quoted the image for you.

For your question, I'm not sure if you've already added them so I'll just list 'em all.

For bch: https://marcocoino.bitcoin.com/

And yes, posting to different crypto forums will also help.
2088  Economy / Exchanges / Re: anyone heard of Crypto-bex?? on: March 01, 2019, 12:58:10 AM
I don't think their partnership with these big companies are really true? What do you think?

Same thought! anyone can place those images on their site but not everyone can prove them so it's proof or it didn't happen. Additionally, it doesn't make sense that they would partner with an exchange whose team aren't transparent, new to the market and literally has 0 rep.

Site is so stale too, and doesn't even allow you to view the market w/o logging in. Stay away, definitely.
2089  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: scam site reporting: qr code convert https://bitcoinqrcodegenerator.win/qr3.php on: February 28, 2019, 11:39:10 PM
Mkay. So I tried it more than once and it did work fine at first but later on I've noticed that I'm always redirected to https://[site]/qr3.php which by default has 32ueQe.....xeBrf address and its qr code. Do note that the address in address field won't change to the one you entered so it's fairly easy to spot if you double check, so make it a habit everyone.

@op if you search "report scam links" in google, there's a lot that will show up but I doubt they would do anything if only a few number of ppl report it. The best course would be to spread it on forums/sns and maybe ask ppl to also vote.

*reported the site to google
2090  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: STRANGE HAPPENING TO MY BITCOIN WALLETS - HELP ME PLS!! on: February 28, 2019, 08:35:47 PM
SuperInvestor, you've already got the answers what you need to do, but to remove that malware or any other bad software from your device I advice that you use only best software. For example you can download free version of Malwarebytes for scan your device, and use premium version for 30 day trial.

Some malware is very difficult to remove, so in some cases it is better to make scan in safe mode.
There are really some malwares which is really hard to remove even how premium antivirus you do have that's why I decided to reformat
or completely re-install a fresh OS so that It would completely remove all of my doubts.

That's probably the best option. I just wanna add that malwarebytes is a great software even without premium. Op can still keep it and either use it as a default AV (real time protection is only for premium users) or just for manual scanning (free users). AdwCleaner which is a free and light product made by them is also a must have.

oh and be sure to have only one AV which real time protection is enabled.
2091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MEW introduces KYC-less Crypto - Fiat Gateway on: February 27, 2019, 09:39:51 PM
Well sure MEW won't store the information (phone number, full name, billing address, iban), but what about bity? I'm not sure how can they be regulated and not store it. But i guess it's better than undergoing an actual kyc... tho bity's reputation would be a different story, I don't know much about them.
2092  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CryptominingFarm.io is SCAM DEFINITLY on: February 27, 2019, 05:22:42 PM
I created a scam accusations on this cloud mining on scam section because they are not sending me my withdrawal request after 3 weeks but after 5 weeks I received my withdrawal but I will not change my post I will still consider this as a scam site because of the so many complaints about this cloud mining site.

Good decision! A lot of ppl fall to ponzi schemes because they think that if it's paying, it's legitimate which is ofc a big misconception. It could also be the reason why they're too lax to bother with infos which triggers red flag.

Welp. This one is definitely one of those ponzis and it's just a matter of time before they exit, good thing you got your money out before it happens.
2093  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Nova Exchange - Started to Implement KYC to Users on: February 26, 2019, 10:40:07 PM
I havent checked my email that I used for my old nova account, but is it alive already? Do old nova user need to create new account or we can use the old account on the new site?

If you mean the exchange, yes it is live.

Old accounts probably won't work anymore unless you claimed it back when they were still asking, nevertheless you could still try logging in or contact the support.
2094  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.com outgoing fee optimization on: February 25, 2019, 11:42:03 PM
It doesn't matter what issues/bugs people report to blockchain.com, they haven't done anything bu ignore their users in the last couple of years.

If you've been here for a couple of years, and used their service, you'll know that the same bugs people kept complaining about are still present, which is quite a sign of incompetence and the fact that they don't care. Every reputable service fixes its bugs, but not blockchain.com unless it's an urgent one. Steer clear of this site.
I think even they are delayed on response or fixing issues I am sure that they are doing what they should fix from the blockchain if the bugs still exist it doesn't mean that they are not taking any action they are just waiting for more people to complain before they fix the issue.
This is what I see from blockchain.

That would be hard to believe 'cause if it's really true, there should be some progress, all I'm seeing is new money-making products.

And don't try to justify the delay with another terrible action, it doesn't make 1Referee's statement less true as it proves they will only take action once the damage has already spread through out their users.
2095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Someone please help me to deal with DEXEOS on: February 22, 2019, 10:15:30 PM
There's no other option besides scatter and simple wallets so pretty much you need either one of them. I'm not sure what's the diff between both of them so you may need look into that yourself but the eos team created tutorials in regards of scatter, so here: https://support.dexeos.io/hc/en-us/articles/360009052593-How-to-Create-an-EOS-Account (*also check the related articles on the left side, there's even video tutorials.)

And from what I read, you can create a scatter account for free.
2096  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2018 Crypto theft overview on: February 22, 2019, 09:34:39 PM
Pretty sure its gonna be way way more than the estimated amount. Just the ICO's and ponzi schemes alone can prove that, as there's tons of them, not to mention that there are other types of thefts too where lots of them are not even that well known to be put in articles.

If you don't wanna be the next victim, prevention is better than cure.
2097  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you know how hackers are collecting our data by smartphone & real life? on: February 22, 2019, 04:13:44 PM
But they made us their slaves by giving the new technolgy in our hand,to be honest people use their mobiles even at the rest rooms. Huh

And they forget the fact our camers are spying us.

Oof, I don't think that's fair 'cause it's only a medium. If someone uses it too much, that's on them for not being able to control themselves. Technology isn't white nor black but gray, it's what you make of it, how you use it.

And they didn't forget as its more of not knowing or considering the possibility, most ppl are lax imo.
2098  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee Predicts The Exact Date Of Bitcoin Reaching $1,000,000 on: February 22, 2019, 02:36:47 PM
Uhm ok, so are we gonna like believe whatever he says 'cause he's well known? 🤔 Nothing wrong with checking and/or referencing other ppl's speculation but don't let it do the thinking for you.

And honestly, john mcafee is the last person you'd ever take lessons from.
2099  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting started with Google Authenticator on: February 22, 2019, 12:25:06 AM
If i was to guage my feeling of safety with all this stuff on a scale from 1 to 10 with 1 being the least safe

I am about a 3  Sad Angry Undecided

Learn and practice good habits in securing your 2fa or your account rather, and you'll eventually build confidence 'cause you did the best that you could, but ofc I'm not expecting a 10. You may feel overwhelmed, but its gonna be worth it.

You're prolly fine as long as you safely store your backup codes in at least 2 places and have an app which lets you back-up. If you don't like authy as it does online backup, andOTP lets you save in your local storage.
2100  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you actually known anyone that has gotten a loan from Celisus.network? on: February 21, 2019, 11:32:55 PM
Quote from: hashtag
Honestly if it wasn't for the CEO established name I would have scrapped this in the scam folder, long time ago but because he is so established I'm trying to find out something that makes them legit in a provable way, not just claims.

If he's that great and established why would he ran a project in the said manner? it basically proves that he's not as reliable as you think he is. I can't say for sure that they're a scam but if we're gonna rely on the probability, its leaning to it imo.

If you're still not satisfied, Why not ask them directly about it? and if you weren't able to get what you wanted, then you're better off not believing any of their claims.
