GPU1: Unable to set GPU clocks to 1775 MHz (Vddc 975 mv) - error -8 Can anybody give some insight on this error? Unsupported drivers? I don't think so, other 5 cards in the same rig are hashing ok.... Maybe you write more about your config? Cards, system, drivers, command line? More strings from log? Before asking... |

Hi, exist some GPU option like -rxboost in Claymore miner? I have 33.5Mh (RX580 8Gb) with -rxboost, and 32Mh on Phoenix (with autotune), but this miner better for my 4Gb cards.
No. PM didn't have analog option. But I use AMD Memory tweak tool to set the REF parameter for each card - that's what -rxboost do. |

So... here's what issue I've been running into. First... my rig: Gigabyte GA-B250-FinTech LGA1151 Intel ATX Cryptocurrency Mining 12PCIe 3.0 DDR4 Motherboard https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07988FLFW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1100GB of virtual memory on a 500GB SSD. I have 10 RX 5700XT cards. Windows 10 ver 2004 Currently with PM 5.1c and Adrenaline 19.9.1 Now... for some reason my clock speeds are: Core: 1400 Memory: 880 cvddc: 880 If I upgrade the driver (to say 20.4.2)... a random card will crash. Guaranteed. Never the same one. If I remove one I have a pretty good chance of it being stable BUT not at those clock speeds. I have to change the memory to 1750. Any higher and I get a crash. (blue screen) Temperatures seem fine. Command: -mi 14 -hstats 2 -mt 2 -tstart 60 -tstop 85 -wdog 1 -tt 60 -ttli 90 and I'm averaging 546.6 for all ten so that's almost 55MH/s. I can't really tell how much from the wall because I have it on a 220v circuit with two other machines but it looks as though each card is running between 104w to 110w. So my questions: Why is my current driver (19.9.1) displaying 880 for memory but as soon as I change driver I have to double the memory to make it work? Why would my rig crash (BSOD) with the latest driver that everyone seems to say is "stable"? It seems to run fine as is... but it sucks that I can never seem to update my driver. I've tried DDU and that doesn't help. I've tried MPT. I've done the bios mod... went back to stock bios (for each card that I individually saved but later found out that GPU-Z corrupts some of the saved bios files. I'm *thinking* that the GPU-Z backup was corrupted, modded with RedBiosEditor and since I flashed it to the cards I could have *possibly* messed something up... but then why would it run fine with 19.9.1 driver? Now I'm hearing from RedPanda that some manufacturers aren't even letting customers RMA their cards if they've been bios modded because of the PID mismatch so even if I acquired a fresh bios somewhere online the PID wouldn't match up. So... I'm thinking that my best option is to find the original bios for Sapphire 11293-01-20G Radeon PULSE RX 5700 Xt and XFX RX-57XT8MFD6 cards. https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/214054/sapphire-rx5700xt-8192-190812https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/212289/xfx-rx5700xt-8192-190616Red Bios Edit the straps to those. I'm running 20.4.2, odd.
So, free videomemory on 1st GPU dosn't enogh cause of Windows uses part of it for it's needs. You can nothing to do with that. You need integrated videocard or 1st card with 6 or 8Gb. |

What driver version? Some drivers take more vmem on 1st GPU with monitor connected. Try 20.4.2 driver. Before installing delete current with DDU. Card 0 does have a monitor connected It's what I talking about. I mean 1st GPU - card 0. |

AMD released 20.8.2 driver. I checked it - PM support it. OpenCL still from 20.7.1.
So 20.8.2 can be installed without any difference with 20.7.1 drivers.

After all, I think that amount of rejected(stale) shares on nicehash is too much... Effective speed 34MH/s, at pool 33MH/s. About 3% loss...  MemClock of 2250 seems too high. Try setting -mclock 2100 or even lower Why? I didn't have incorrect shares or hardware errors. It's not overclock problems. I have too much "job not found" rejected shares. |

GPU-Z shows that on 1st GPU 215+Mb videomemory is in use... That's why it's not enough to mine eth. In ports of 1st GPU inserted something? If you use igpu Windows didn't use other GPU memory... Something wrong here... nothing inserted at gpu 1 and already set igpu enable in bios.  Don't know than what's wrong with your comp... Try to search info about your motherboard... Maybe it's need to update mobo bios... Try to delete AMD drivers via DDU and install again. |

One of my rig (570 4gb) already running smooth for 10 days. But today suddenly GPU 1 become 3 mh/s from 29 mh/s. And the system is unstable, after 10 minutes alywas hangs.
I already reinstalled the driver, set the virtual memory to 200000. Nothing changed, GPU 1 still 3 mh/s.
Any clue about my rig problems?

You need Windows 10 + drivers 20.4.2. Already use win 10 & drivers 20.4.2. But still got the same problems. In AMD Radeon software put GPU 1 to compute and restart the rig. I tried it and it worked Already set this. Nothing changed, still same. Monitor connected to GPU1? No. already set to igpu still got same problem. Hello,
i have a problem with my rig under win 7 (3x 470 4Go)
It worked longer whith blockchain driver + claymore than my win 10 ones, but when I updated to driver 20.5.1 + phoenix, I only have 10 Mhs for every GPU.
They are in compute mode so the problem does not comes to that.
Is it a known problem for win 7?

For Win7 there is no new blockchain drivers. And old ones is too old and can't properly work with big memory buffers close to 4Gb. So you need at least Win10 and drivers like 20.4.2. |
