I think that 1st what need to do - is stabilizing heavy algo speed, 2nd - lowering power consumption for v8.

On 588 cards speed on b-y version is a bit lower and a little more stable, but still start to fluctuate after some time... Bad shares became rare...

Looks like Claymore didn't spend all the money from our mining fees yet... If this possible to spend such big amounts of money during one life...

Tested heavy on xmrig... Speed is lower about 4-5% on RX 588 than max speed on JCE, but stable...
For me xmrig unacceptible - it doesn't work properly on latest drivers! Many compute errors!
JCE, waiting your fixed version!

JCE, make next version with bad shares fix, please!
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [JCE] Ultrafast CN-Heavy/Tube/HVX miner, low power, Vega56 1750+h/s on: November 18, 2018, 04:37:37 PM
Yes, on b-x version max speed on RX 588 achieved often after 5-6 min. But after some time, 10-15+ minutes, speed start to fluctuate on 1 of GPUs and drops about 20%, after several minutes it start to flactuate on others GPUs and drops speed about 20-25% too.
Maybe when you test b-x version and after reaching max speed you can see 5-10 minutes stable max speed.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [JCE] Ultrafast CN-Heavy/Tube/HVX miner, low power, Vega56 1750+h/s on: November 17, 2018, 05:59:15 PM
speed and bad shares were expected, not a big deal, but i really expected a more stable hashrare... at least it was more stable on my own rigs.
From b5 version I noticed that miner needs much more time than 5 minutes to reach max stable speed on heavy. It's about 40-50 minutes. It's make difficult to test...

EDIT: With b-x strange situation with speed - it's became max, than works with max speed some time, and than it start to fluctuate again as on warm-up and didn't stabilize again...
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [JCE] Ultrafast CN-Heavy/Tube/HVX miner, low power, Vega56 1750+h/s on: November 17, 2018, 02:44:25 PM

Online is the B-X version (not packaged, just the .exe)

Quote
It's an experimental version, quite different from the previous ones
You will have a few bad shares, that's expected, often at the beginning of the session
On Tahiti and Pitcairn, there's a solid ~2% boost
And a very small one <1% on Hawaii and Bonaire
It should mine more stable on hi-mem cards, maybe with a slightly lower peak hashrate
CN-Dark is available on CPU and GPU
Ok, thanks! Let's try it now...

EDIT:
1st impressions - As you said - bad shares on RX appears, but not so much... Speed on Pitcairn is a bit faster. Speed on RX 580 8Gb looks like on b5... Speed stability is still watching...
EDIT2: 2nd - Bad shares appears on Pitcairn chip too. Speed on RX 580 8Gb is so unstable as on b5 and b6.

lost almost 2 hours mining of my vega rig using b5 and my favorite heavy coin and pool. Only stale shares (((. other rigs were using srbminer 1.7.0 with the same connectivity settings and had no problems.
Miner has wrong determined your coin. Set coin variation manully. For heavy algo add --variation 5 to command line.

i'll put back the q version online, otherwise use a git client on github to get all historical versions.
version b-x to be released soon. it hashes solid on my RX, but i already said such for the b5...

i still use most of my dev time for the cpu version.
TeamRed are great, i think i know how i can achieve low power, but i need time to test. at least i somehow reached equivalent speed, and i've less fees on v8 (0.9 vs 2.5)
but counting the power saving, they're the best.
It's great news! I'm waiting b-x version to test. And it's great that you have thoughts how to decrease power consumption on v8. I believe in you! I like your miner and use it.

Tested TeamRed cn8 miner... Speed is almost the same as JCE, only one GPU a bit faster... But his miner uses real lower power on cn8 than JCE... Interesting, how they can do that?

I still waiting Nicehash heavy support...

JCE, make x-version. I'll test it on 270X Pitcairn and RX 580 8Gb cards.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [JCE] Ultrafast CN-Heavy/Tube/HVX miner, low power, Vega56 1750+h/s on: November 14, 2018, 12:03:12 PM
After trying all versions, I think 032q is the best for RX 8GB - speed & stability.
It's strange... All new versions was better than previous, except b5 and b6. On my RX 580 8Gb b4 is better than all others...

On b6 - if mining goes long time - 20+ hours than speed can became max and didn't drop. But not always...
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [JCE] Ultrafast CN-Heavy/Tube/HVX miner, low power, Vega56 1750+h/s on: November 14, 2018, 10:59:58 AM
I could reproduce the drop problem on my RX on Heavy, at full speed my miner is clearly above others, but the drop is like -15% and this cancels any gain, as some stated. I've some ideas how to fix, need more time and tests.

the hashrate drop is more imminent when you select only the 8gb cards. It won't even pickup the top hashrate.
If I select both 4gb and 8gb cards together they would hit up the peak hashrates but would drop back later.
Hi JCE any news on rx580  8Gb cards bad hashrate problems ?
So does this mine any better with the rx580 8gb cards than xmr-stak?

Absolutely,

But not with the latest version because the hashrate is very unstable and the fee more than 2 times higher.

I still mine with v.033b2.
Why not 33b4?

i'm still working on the warmup and stability problem on 8G+ cards.
Good! Cause there is some bug... Differenet launches this the same parameters can result different speeds...
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [JCE] Ultrafast CN-Heavy/Tube/HVX miner, low power, Vega56 1750+h/s on: November 11, 2018, 05:33:20 AM
I think, in starting of mining heavy algo 5 minutes warm-up needs to replace 15-20. I playing with different multi_hash parameters, but still no numbers that give stable speed... But warm-up period on heavy algo is much more than 5 min.
