Only new drivers support need to be updated. 19.4.3 is the last full supported at now by Phoenix miner.
Just updated to AMD driver version 19.5.2 (June 2019) 2766.5. Working again :-) You want to say that on 19.5.2 Phoenix woks with -clKernel 3? Yes. On a RX 580 8GB Just downloaded and updated to 19.5.2 from 3 june 2019 (OpenCL 2.1 AMD-APP 2841.5). Didn't work with -clKernel 3. Can you upload your driver for me? Offical AMD June driver: https://drivers.amd.com/drivers/win10-64bit-radeon-software-adrenalin-2019-edition-19.5.2-june3.exeAs I wrote before: with driver 19.5.2 from 3 june 2019 (OpenCL 2.1 AMD-APP 2841.5) miner didn't work with -clKernel 3. It just give -cl error.

Team Red Miner v0.5.0 releasedhttps://github.com/todxx/teamredminer/releasesChanges in v0.5.0 - Added cryptonight 4MB variants: heavy, haven and saber.
- Added x16 algo suite: x16r, x16s, x16rt (both gin and veil).
- Auto-tuning mode for all CN variants, see bundled guide.
- Manual key-driven CN tuning mode available inside the miner.
- Additional data in miner stats console output.
- Watchdog now detecting single stuck thread when mining CN.
- Fix: in rare cases, poolside hash for compute algos (lyra2z, phi2, lyra2rev3) only reached ~95% of expected value.
We've added new algos for 4MB/heavy CN variants! Now you can mine haven/bittube with TRM We've also added more finetuning options, as well as built-in auto-tuning to find the best config! Wow! Exccelent update! Thanx! Let's try it!

Author disappeared...
LOL last time online was today. How you came to the conclusion that the author is disappeared? He more than a week didn't answer in this theme... And? This is not the first time, he didnīt answer for long time. How long claymore didnīt answer in his threads? Claymore didn't answer during time when he didn't work on his miner... If phoenix suspended development of his miner - it's bad... Not really , we have claymore 35 mh/s on a rx 580 its pretty nice . Phoenix double kernels always faster than Claymore. And now when exists AMD Memory Tweak Tool for Windows, we can use REF parameter wich is the same as rxboost on Claymore miner. So lower devfee+double kernels = 1-2% faster. Only new drivers support need to be updated. 19.4.3 is the last full supported at now by Phoenix miner. Which command do i need to run double kernels? -clKernel 3 It's for AMD. For NVidia I didn't know.

Hi All! I'm sorry if it allready asked...
Please, say who knows - does MISC3 (MR4) RAS parameter affectes on stability? Or something else? And how it can be changed in vbios? I didn't find this param in Polaris Bios Editor...

Is there a way to see in Claymore how many Watt im using?
yes type -showwatt 1 It's a joke?
|
|
|
Also try using -asm 2 gave me another 0.2mh/s
Tried it, actually i lose 0.15 Mhs per card If you play with -dcri parameter you can gain another speed boost ))) At least press "z" during mining.

+ Support Aeternity mining on NiceHash
Really bad performance with 1080ti on nicehash, only 2,7 G/s with Simplemining OS
Haven't tried 1060, 170, 1070ti and 1660ti..
What speed on nicehash Aeternity on RX 580 cards? Nobody tried?

Anyone test the power consumption difference with "rxboost" command? Also for those who are having trouble keeping it "rxboost" stable on windows, try -rxboost 30 .... seems to be the most stable for Windows and SMOS (rxboost -i 30) rigs without crashing systems. I've attached a chart for a mini farm we operate (SMOS - 4.0 Gh/s), and we noticed a 3.38% overall gain withing the farm (approx. 135.74 Mh/s Increase overall). I attached a chart with details. Again our main concern is power consumption increasing (hopefully decrease? ) , as we currently don't have access to power readings due to farm being remotely located. We will test the power levels in person soon, but we would like to know a range for expectation purposes, if anyone already tested. Chart Showing Gains from 'rxboost -i 30' (SMOS):https://ibb.co/THyqpGP Disclosure: Rig 11 and 13 seem to have been 'underclocked' prior so try to refrain from using those as a we also fine tuned some timings on those on top of 'rxboost' https://www.RigSpec.ioMemory doesn't consumes so much power... Memory clock up to 2250 MHz on GDDR5 increases it a bit. But memory timings not so important to power, i think. You are correct that the memory chips don't consume that much power with better straps but the GPU compute part of the graphic card actually does use more power overall. Think of it this way. The GPU compute is actually idle alot because there is a bottle-neck in the memory, when the memory is faster the GPU compute is idle less and overall there is more power consumption. This is why back in 2017, it was very popular to dual mine coins with ETH because most of the time the memory is busy while the GPU compute part of the video card stays inactive and does nothing. Hmmm, maybe you're right. I don't think this way...

Does rxboost require the Claymore driver install? I tried to run it last night and got a bunch of errors, but I hadn't run the driver install setting but wanted to check if I needed the driver before I tried other troubleshooting.
Yes.
