It's strange... But Phoenix usual quick update miner for new drivers... AMD soon release 21.4.1 driver, PM dosn't support even 21.3.1.

Meanwhile, AMD released 21.3.2 driver with fixes for 6700 cards.
Would you recommand to upgrade AMD drivers to 21.3.2 for 6700 xt ? So far I can't really mine with PhoenixMiner as I have around 20-25% rejected shares No, I didn't recommend them just now. We need wait till PM updates miner to support new drivers.

@PhoenixMiner, when next version? We waiting 21.3.1 support!
seriously man, do you have some sort of fetish for new drivers? what are your expectations? Man, AMD in 21.3.1 adding support for 6700! And I just want to PM work with latest driver. Phoenix already working on new version. So we just waiting...

Does this normally get fixed, or roll back? -clKernel 0 fixes it, but don't know how much of a hit to expect yet. PM just didn't support new 21.3.1 AMD drivers. It's need to wait update for PM.

- Updated kernels for AMD Polaris, Vega and Navi GPUs that are slightly faster and use less power than before when mining ETH. To use these updated kernels, you need to use drivers 20.5.1 or later under Win10, or 20.10.x or later under Linux
Do we need to reset -GT settings ? Yes. For my Polaris cards best -gt changed.

Hi there! I have been mining ETH for a while and my rigs are working just fine!
But, when I switch to mine to NiceHash I get a lot of rejected shares. For about one hour I got 230 accepted shares and 6 rejected shares. Is there a good fix for this?
I'm running --eth_stratum_mode=nicehash but nothing more.
No, on nicehash always high rejected shares rates.

I’m mining with 9 x 5500xt 8gb. 4 of the cards work fine, but 5 of the cards take 30 minutes to build the DAG. This doesn’t happen with other miners, so I know it’s not a card issue. Any ideas why this happens?
All cards switched to compute mode?

Thanks for update! ETA for Windows version? Does you look into video playback freezes?
I hope for the Windows version soon - though does not depend on me, but on the code signing authority. But in case it takes to long I will put an unsigned version online and re-upload with code signature once it is done. Wrt your other question: yes, the new version can allow either all or one specific card to use only one mining thread, freeing some resources for other tasks. At least on my desktop it did help to be able to browse and play youtube while the first card was mining - then a bit slower, but it was working. New parameter for it is --singlethread I tried --singlethread option for RX 580 8Gb card. It decrease speed about 2% (0.6MH/s). But videoplayback on videoplayer using DXVA videooutput didn't became normal. It still like slowmo... Youtube videoplayback is normal. It can freeze only on high resolutions like 1060p.

PhoenixMiner 5.4b needs more power than PhoenixMiner 5.1c for Navi GPUs eg: RX 5700 XT. But nothnig about higher hashrate altough more power needs. Is thare any explanation about it ? I have running 8 pcs rigs which each rig has 12 pcs RX 5700 XT. All of the same. I had to set higher VDD in HiveOS after i started using PhoenixMiner 5.4b instead of PhoenixMiner 5.1c
Yes, me too, i have crash cards (9 x RX580 nitro+ SE) -mclock 900 to 910 -mvddc 860 to 880 My RX 580 nitro+ SE 8Gb cards work fine on 5.4c with the same voltages as on previous versions. And with the same power consumption. If I revive PH 5.4x a second or even third time I have no problems but 1 time out of 2, I have a card that crashes What are you core and memory value Mhz and voltage -cvddc 925 -cclock 1250 -mvddc 825 -mclock 2250

Lets say hello to lolMiner 1.17 (LINK)Was some longer coding this time since the re-coding of Navi codes took some serious time. But I like the result and hope to bring it to other cards as well in the future. We will see how it works out there I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a good start into 2021. Try to stay healthy! Thanks for update! ETA for Windows version? Does you look into video playback freezes?

With Adrenaline 20.4.2, I am only getting 10.5 to 11 MH/s in my Rx580 8GB cards in PhoenixMiner. Tried the usual steps, used DDU to reinstall drivers, did a fresh Windows install as well. No improvements, the hash rate stays at around 11 only. Was getting 30 MH/s with the 2017 beta drivers all this while.
The only reason I upgraded the drivers was Claymore died and when I tried mining with PhoenixMiner, while the hashrate came upto 30 MH/s, it wouldn't undervolt using cvvdc and was causing too much power to be drawn.
What am I missing?
You forgot to change GPU to compute mode.

Hello,
I just switched from Claymore 15 to PhoenixMiner 5.3b.
Windows 10 with mining driver 17.8 beta and one RX470 8GB. Running the mining software as Administrator.
The video card use the default BIOS and all moddings are done throuth the mining software.
I have two problems:
- I can't set the -mt value. I get this error: "hwmc GPU1: Unable to set VMEM timing to 1 - error: -8". - I can't set the -mvddc. In this case no error occours. The miner hangs without any message!!!
What could be the problem? Is the driver too old?
Thanks, Andrea
Yes, update driver at least to version 20.4.2. And use amd drivers patcher.

very frustated to run phoenixminer, while last use other miner. i get error: Allocating buffers failed with clCreatedBuffers (-61)https://i.ibb.co/8KcdKX6/error.jpgi use 3X RX480 8Gb + 2X R9 390 8Gb running on nicehash using bat file can someone tell me about this error and how to solve it. thank you Look's like Windows 7 with blockchain drivers. You need Windows 10 and latest drivers.

Lolliedieb, What about this: Another question: RX 580-8 rig. On 1st card of rig when monitor connected and trying to look video on youtube or play any videofile (even in bad quality f.e. 320p) video playback goes with freezes. On all other miners (Claymore, TR, PM) video plays without problems during eth mining.

Also with 5.2e still invalid shares (only) on Nicehash!
Phoenix wrote already that he hasn't any of new 6800 cards yet. So he can't optimize his kernels for new cards. We must wait till he buy new card and work on it.

In Windows 10 system, CPU and memory usage rate is very high, and memory usage rate has reached 4G, can this problem be solved?
It's problem in your system. For me Windows 10 x64 Pro 1909. No such problems.
