Hello, someone know how change to compute mode IN WINDOWS 7 ? AMD's drivers doesnt have this opion in window 7, and i hae windows 10 and really dont have time to put again this rubbish. Idont have problems with phoenix in other rig with only 8 GB cards, but i have a rig with 4 GB and have problems. SO i need the 18.X driver, but W7 dont allow me changed the mode.

It's not possible on Windows 7. Only in Windows 10.

hi
my rx580 8gb stop mining ETC at #379 epoch (4GB DAG size) in win10 & PhoenixMiner 5.1c
but still work ETH at #368 epoch.
my driver is Crimson Beta for Blockchain.
i dont have any problem in linux but some rigs work in win10.
any suggestion?

Good drivers. These are versions from 18.12.1.1 to 19.7.5 (inclusive), and from 19.12.2 to 20.8.1 (inclusive). These will allow you to mine until DAG epoch 372-373 and won't need restart of PhoenixMiner on each DAG epoch change.
Not so good drivers. These are versions 18.1.1 to 18.10.1 (inclusive), and from 19.8.1 to 19.12.1 (inclusive). This will allow you to mine until DAG epoch 365-366 and will require restart of PhoenixMiner on each DAG epoch change (for these drivers this will be preformed automatically unless you have added -dagrestart 0 command-line option to explicitly disable the auto-restart).

Your 8GB RX580 should be able to mine ETC without issues though, even with Blockchain drivers.

but my 8gb rx580 stop mining ETC...
the problem is PhoenixMiner 5.1c!!!
this miner dosen't support after #379 epoch (4GB DAG size) in win10.
any one can mine ETC in win10 with 8gb gpus on PhoenixMiner or claymore now???
This is only on old drivers like blockchain. On new drivers like 20.4.2 there is no such problem. On my 8Gb polarises Phoenix miner normal mines on DAG #380.

hello,

during statistics, there is share (A/S/Hw)

what is Hw?
harware error?
because all my rig have about 10% of those :/

thanks
Yes, it's hardware errors. 10% is too much. Try to remove option --enablezilcache if you use it. If no, lower clocks.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: lolMiner 1.11: AMD Miner for Ethash / BEAM / GRIN / Ae / Tube / Equihash & more on: October 16, 2020, 08:02:59 AM
I will start some Nicehash mining later on my rig and see if I can reproduce it.
Usually it should not disconnect - at least there is nothing forcing it to do so. Switching epochs (for Nicehash or Zilliqa dual mining) works without reconnect (unless pool decides to close connection (e.g. ezil does so while shardpool does not).
Which NH server you are on? Will give the same a run Smiley
I'm Use Eu server. Not so often but sometimes this disconnections and reconnections to stratum server is happens for me. Other miners works without disconnections. So this is some problem in lol miner.
Miner quick reconnects in 1 sec and again subscribes to extranounce and authorises. It take some time though.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.1c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: October 15, 2020, 01:02:34 PM
For me PM starts to hang rigs... Increasing voltages didn't helps...
Other miners work stable.
Using latest AMD 20.9.2 drivers.
Bugs with hangs starts when DAG increases to 375+ size.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: lolMiner 1.11: AMD Miner for Ethash / BEAM / GRIN / Ae / Tube / Equihash & more on: October 15, 2020, 01:01:01 PM
This should be fixed in 1.11 Smiley
Updated to 1.11. Try to use with nicehash. Looking work good.
But sometimes
"Lost connection to stratum server..."
and reconnects in 1 sec.

It's strange... On other miners no such reconnections...
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: lolMiner 1.11: AMD Miner for Ethash / BEAM / GRIN / Ae / Tube / Equihash & more on: October 15, 2020, 12:28:17 PM
What about nicehash bugs?
"left work loop" bugs exist causes to reconnect.

And nicehash sometimes change DAG to different numbers. Sometimes it use DAG #0. lol miner on DAG #0 doesn't generate it and speed is 0.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.1c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: October 13, 2020, 12:17:17 PM
thanks for response.

So what about this dag issues? Anyone? help to survive? looks like no one has problem with dag file
Use right drivers. F.e. 20.4.2
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: lolMiner 1.09: AMD Miner for Ethash / BEAM / GRIN / Ae / Tube / Equihash & more on: October 13, 2020, 06:11:02 AM
Thanks, I reported that guy.

Well ... Phoenix and Claymore almost use the same kernel (I would bet one could swap them without causing incompatibility) and if you trace the number of nonces processed you will see they are a bit over-reporting.
But you can also check that with the tool teamredminer devs created without any reverse engineering - that tool is open source and simulates a low difficulty pool, so you see a high number of submitted shares and compare that with what the dashboard proposed. If you do so you will see Phoenix reports about 2% higher then it should (pool is 2.8% lower then dashboard ... some lower is expected due to fee ofc, but not 2%+) ... so well. It is easy to proof they cheat to look better in the miner output then they actually are.

That said: lolMiner on ethash is way from being perfect yet. But I just started and many cool things yet to come. Next release in already 1-2 days approx adding some more stability Smiley
Thanks! My Phoenix effective speed numbers is equal to pool side... But last days Phoenix miner on nicehash often hangs rig...

lol miner on nicehash often disconnects and reconnect with "GPU 0 left work..."

PH is uses a little less power reported by GPU sensors. About 3-4W.

Please enhance eth on your miner and I will prefer it.

IMPORTANCE OF "-gt"

can anyone explain whether to let PhoenixMiner always auto-tune "-gt" value or is it possible to use already auto-tunned value, please?

for ETH, auto-tune ended up at -gt 65

for ETC, auto-tune ended up at -gt 46

I have read somewhere that unless difficulty changes, it may be manually specified.
Yes, just add to command line -gt 65
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.1c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: October 11, 2020, 12:02:13 PM
Try to set -gt for rig 2 manually the same as on rig 1.
Maybe the problem is that on rig 2 cards with worster memory than on rig 1...
Cards from the same batch. I used the Claymore for more than a year, until it stopped working, there was no such problem and the speed was 30Mh+
After set manual -gt on rig2, speed has not changed in any way
Cards the same all? It's very strange... Rig 2 take more power but speed is lower... Windows and drivers the same too? Video bioses the same on rig 2?
Rig1 and Rig2 use one driver - "main OpenCL driver version: 19.12.1". Windows 10. The bios has not changed anywhere.
There are differences in RAM, on Rig1 4Gb, on Rig2 8Gb.
So rig2 have different type of memory. That's the problem. You need find best straps for youre type of memory and modify vbioses or apply better straps with some prorgam like AMD memory tweak tool.

Did you tried -mt 2?

Hello, colleagues) Did someone compare lolminer vs claymore to mine eth algo? Thanks in advance)

This would be an incorrect comparison since the last Claymore update was in August 2019 and lolMiner was in October 2020. You can try to compare it with PhoenixMiner. Without fine-tuning Claymore now produces 28Mh/s at RX580 8Gb; with the tuning 31.

Isn’t Phoenix still the fastest?

Depends on your GPU. But for AMD -> NO!
For AMD -  yes, Phoenix fastest.

With the right settings, TRM will outperform Phoenix and all others. Check the real numbers at the pool, NOT the fake numbers printed on your screen. But thats nothing for this thread. Whoever is interested, jump in their thread and read carefully.
I checked pool numbers from TRM and Phoenix. Phoenix numbers nor fake - they real. So numbers on Phoenix miner is not fake.

Most of the RX series DID NOT have a dual bios. Dual bios was more popular with the older cards from the Radeon era. They also might be more common now but most RX series cards DO NOT have a dual bios. I think the only one that had one was some special Sapphire brand.

So he needs to becareful when modding to make sure he doesn't mess up. If he messes up there is a way to recover a crashed bios by having to short 2 pins on a chip location on the PCB and using DOS he can reflash with the stock bios. Hence if you do this, ALWAYS make sure to make a backup of the bios.
Most high end RX 4xx/5xx from MSI, Sapphire have dual bios. So you're not right. It depends on manufacter.

Project MorpheusETH - pill to increase hashrate using algorithms such as: Ethash/KawPow/ProgPow
Support all miners for Windows (AMD+Nvidia)
The project is being actively developed, and a new version with new features will be presented soon

GutHub: *link*

VirusTotal: *link*

Working algorithm:
 -Launch the miner
-Start the tablet (the tablet is launched in silent mode)
-Expect an increase in the hashrate (on average, the process takes up to one hour

If the hashrate does not increase, write your system and the miner you are launching to github.
Stop to post this scam software!
