And another one thing - can you add parameter minspeed to miner.
To restart miner if speed lower than minspeed for 5 minutes.

And please, if you change kernels so as in 1.6.1 share optimal settings for most shared cards like 480/580, Vega's, etc...

i cant add it because it already exists a few versions before lol.

im using the hynix strap i posted here+ 1150/2100 settings 54/8/2, i get approx 956hs on 580 8g v7

also i dont have every card and time to test and find best setting for every card. thats what you users do and share with others in this thread.
Oh. sorry about minrig speed. My mistake...

About 54 intensity. Can it be calculated someway? Does it dependent from something?

Thanks for update, doc!

It's strange, but kernels from older versions didn't work with 1.6.1... Hope 1.6.1 can build fast kernels...

I did some optimisations in ocl kernels, that why old binaries wont work. well if its not fast enough for your taste you can use older versions or whatever is faster.  Smiley
Yes, I can't achieve max speed with new kernel builded by 1.6.1, rolling back to 1.6.0 with kernels created by 1.5.8... Your optimizations have something for 580 cards?

yes i managed to squeeze out +2hs on my 580 8g on v7 . its not much but hey, step by step. Also you are probably talking about heavy algo, let it run for 10 minutes on 1.6.1, i got the +1000hs in 90% of time on it. Still researching why is this happening, but had to push new version  because of the soon forking BitTube coin.
Does new kernel require more vmemory? I noticed that v7 on the same settings that on 1.6.0 drops speed like it's not enough vmemory.
What intensity, worksize and threads you are use for 580 card? For v7 and heavy?

846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gateless Gate Sharp 1.3.2: Now with memory timing mods and CryptoNight-Heavy! on: June 20, 2018, 11:15:47 AM

...on what basis you changed the memory learning part?

Uh, i don't really understand what you mean by memory learning part. I couldn't investigate further as GGS memory timings and Bios memory straps don't "fit". This seems to be because of the AMD driver that is dynamically changing memory settings. In other words: The straps/settings you put into a bios mod will neither work nor be shown inevitably in GGS. The values there differ from the straps you put in the Bios mod.
I think that he really didn't know that ))))

UPDATE TODAY!!!!! 2.84 works on new windows!!!! WOHOOO THAAANKS
Exccelent!!!! What interesting - I'm looks for it about hour ago, it was no new version! They are published it just right now!

my old card r9 370 mining with sbrminer is slow and usually restart, can anybody please help me?

What is your hashrate?

my 370 mining heavy = 290~320/card, cn v7 = 490~510/card, lite v7 = 900~1100/card
R9 270X 4Gb with manual edited bios. Heavy - 420 h/s, v7 - 510 h/s.

Ha anyone else had problems with Hynix memory GPUs with this miner? We have some Samsung and Micron Rx 580 8GB GPUs that have both responded quite well to tweaking. However, the lone Hynix model that we have does not respond to any overclocking/underclocking, or it responds negatively. Thankfully it does undervolt well in order to reduce power, but I'd like to get that extra ~200+ hashrate out of it to match the other GPUs.  If anyone has succeeded in tweaking a Hynix model with this miner I'd love to see what your settings are. Smiley

*All of the above GPUs are on stock bios.
Hynix MJR 8Gb memory needs other memory straps that in stock. With stock bios you can't do nothing.

Stop to attract to SRB miner. It unstable in hash speed as hell! To get max speed for my 580 cards I relaunch it 5-10 times. Rebuilding kernel bins is also different story...
Claymore's miners are stable as rock! Fast starting, stable speed.
Plus SRB miner slower on old 2xx and 3xx cards.
If people didn't like Claymore's miners they didn't use them.

My impression of Claymore is that i get 100% reject when mining Electroneum, though i'm not sure if Claymore mines it at all, otoh SRBMiner gets 100% accepted. Same card (R9 280x), same settings.
Because Electoneum has been forked to other algo, not v7. Claymore's miner up to v7 algo support.

Hello!

What is a good -h value for RX 570 8GB?
Try 1088, 1152.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gateless Gate Sharp 1.3.8: 30Mh/s (Ethash) on RX 480! on: June 14, 2018, 09:10:58 PM
I don't want to sound ungrateful or anything, but you seem to be wasting your talent on things that don't matter in mining. Forget about the GUI, it just brings bugs and its actually harder to work with. Forget the fancy auto overclocks and straps etc...

What we AMD miners really need is good kernels for profitable algos. Give us that and you will have more then enough money and users with a resonable fee for your miner. I tried using your miner a few times, but in the end I only have problems with the GUI and some obscure bugs because of that. And in the end other miners are simply faster and easier to use because of the command line.

Just my 2 cents, don't waste your potential.

P.S. I am sorry if I sounded hars, but I am always blunt and to the point, ubable to sugarcoat.
GGS allready many versions have command line version. GUI maybe used only for changing settings. You can not use overclocking, straps, etc. You can just setup algo, pool, wallet and that's all. After that you can close GUI and launch command line version. That's it.
zawawa spend many time not on GUI. He made a big work on tuning kernels. That's what you wrote AMD miners need. He works on it almost all time. So wait if you want to use it with very good kernels.

zawawa. Can't you integrate support for nicehash heavy algo into 1.3.8 version? I want to mine it with GGS until you work with new version...

Looks lilke 18.6.1 is the same as 18.5.2...

I tried everything with 18.6.1, but overclocking still doesn't work. Trying to revert to 18.3.2...
No, no, no. You wrote that you find the way to direct access to GPU's. Like Claymore's miners. They are still works on new drivers. And can overclock GPU's with them.
On Windows 1803 drivers 18.5.1+ needed to support WDDM2.4.
You must find how to overclock GPU's with new drivers.

Some people swear by one miner over another with almost religious fervour, I've used lots of different miners and use the one I feel happy with, be it Claymore, SRBminer or whatever, it sometimes comes down to a matter of individual preference, but one will never convince the fanatics - Die Heretic !

It's a matter of personal taste, some prefer the GUI of Claymore and some just don't. Personally I prefer Claymore over the others.
Yes, I too. But I force to use other miners due to Claymore stop support for CN miner.

Claymore! Return back to CN miner!
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ATIFlash/ATIWinFlash does NOT work on the latest/current Windows 10 update on: June 14, 2018, 07:46:06 AM
I know this doesn't make any sense but I read on discord that a guy by passed this problem on windows 10 build 1803 using an older version of ati flash. The thing is I can't remember which ati flash version he used. And I'm not sure he was telling the truth either. I'll start testing older version one by one, and I'll let you know if It worked out.
2.67 works, but it doesn't support cards Polaris and up.

I am still debugging the next version.
Boy, this Ethash thing takes a long time!

Edit: It seems like there is a bug around overclocking in the latest AMD drivers.
What a piece of sh*t...
You about 18.6.1 or 18.5.2?
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.6.0 on: June 13, 2018, 08:08:44 PM
Anyone played with persistent_memory ?
I got a 3% speedup on v7 with 580 8g hynix mem on i 72, w 8, t 2 and persistent_memory true
I checked on 580 8Gb hynix on heavy algo. No difference on enabled/disabled option.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.6.0 on: June 13, 2018, 03:40:49 PM
It's strange, but I allready lowered memory frequency on my 580 by 50MHz and this has no affect on speed... Even 1 h/s no drops. I try to remove calculate errors and figured out that on SRB miner core freq. is more important mem. freq. Other miners such as Claymore or GGS are sensitive to memory clock...
