421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ANN] LIGHTPAYCOIN LPC ⭐ MASTERNODES ✅ POS ⭐ MNO AND CRYPTOBRIDGE LISTED ✅ on: July 22, 2018, 11:31:05 AM
I want to buy some lpc, is it down more.
Buy buy buy it's 75% discount

buy what? the price go down like all other masternode... i think this coin going to die.. like the other 2000 mn coins

Most masternodes that are scams that is. LPC is different. The team has been really active and works towards real world adoption through partnerships with real world institutions. Unlike all the other scam coins out there, LPC has great potential and now would truly be a good time to buy.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain launches the Z9 Equihash miner on: July 22, 2018, 11:29:04 AM
We reached out for a testing unit. Hopefully we'll get a response and post some results for the Z9.

Reach out to whom? Bitmain will never give you a "testing" unit. The Z9 ASIC has been out there for a month now and people have already posted results and reviews. Sorry to say but what you are trying to accomplish is unlikely. Please read through this thread and do the necessary research.

✅I am glad to announce that, COIN CoinMarketCap request submitted.

Coinmarketcap listing LPC would be big news and another step towards an increase in value. I would say that it would definitely be a good idea to buy now before that happens. When LPC gets listed on there who knows when LPC will be less than 500k satoshi again.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Where to buy Xilinx VCU 1525 on: July 21, 2018, 12:34:00 AM
Hello guys,
I'm looking for xilinx VCU 1525.
In europe or USA doesn't care.
is there someone who can help me?

https://store.mineority.io
www.fpga.land
www.fpgamining.eu
www.blackbox.cat
www.bittware.com

Exactly the links i was going to post. Somewhat related, you could also check out http://squirrelsresearch.com

With regards to buying from Xilinx themselves, it might not be advisable unless you are a hardcore dev/engineer. As far as i know the ones that @GPUhoarder or @senseless are already semi-custom built specifically for mining.

At this moment, price donīt reflect the LightPay value, so, in my opinion is better HODL for now, relax and then be happy Smiley

Very true. People should realize that now is not the time to sell LPC. This coin has so much potential that simply holding and waiting for it's true value to be realized makes much more sense. When this goes to big exchanges like binance good luck seeing LPC below 500k satoshi for sure (it will probably be 1 million satoshi++).
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy GPUs? on: July 20, 2018, 07:01:59 AM
This question has been asked multiple times on these forums and the consensus answer seems to be that NO, now is a bad time to buy GPUs or build new mining rigs.

As far as i can recall, below is a bulleted summary of reasons why you shouldn't.

  • New series GPUs are being released soon
  • ASICs for the primary POW coins have been released to the public
  • ETH is about to either reduce block reward or start POS
  • Difficulty is climbing higher everyday
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer Z9 mini overclocked on: July 20, 2018, 04:52:46 AM
Update:

Still running errors free at 750M. Hashrate stays even but Zencash mined per day has dropped a little to 1.35 Zen a day. Probably due to new Z9s coming online. Getting closer to ROI.

It would be interesting and helpful to the community if one of these days you report to us if and when your Z9 ASIC dies. I would certainly find that useful information and reward you with some merit or some other way if possible.

Knowing the limits on these machines and why bitmain only shipped with lower default settings is a intriguing.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ANN] LIGHTPAYCOIN LPC ⭐ MASTERNODES ✅ POS ⭐ MNO AND CRYPTOBRIDGE LISTED ✅ on: July 20, 2018, 04:49:35 AM

✅I am want to announce that, COIN discord members have big problem with scammers and coins thieves.

This is probably one of the primary reasons why LPC's value went down. It's a good thing the LPC team was alerted and responsive to the threat. Moving forward, i am now optimistic that calling these out will lessen the scams and allow our coin to progress further.

LPC value is going back up guys. Just hold.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer Z9 mini worth it ? on: July 20, 2018, 04:44:44 AM
History with these asics just repeats and repeats the more asic get released the difficulty goes up profit down look at the D3, A3, L3 the same is going to happen with the Z9 and E3 you can never keep up as soon as you think your going to profit they release a new bigger miner now spend another $2000-$3000 its never ending asics are cancer

I partially agree that ASIC history repeats itself. It should be clear by now that getting a 1st batch ASIC is the safest way to go. However, i'm surprised to see that these Z9s are still quite profitable considering it's been more than a month since it's release. I would have expected that the daily profit would be half of last month but it's still going strong.

The early Z9 buyers got lucky and made a good investment.

I like the new LPC Explorer where you can see last transaction http://explorer.lightpaycoin.org:3001/markets/coinexchange

Didn't notice that this was available until recently. Another yet again extremely bullish example of how much work the LPC team puts into this coin. Everything is progressing ahead with LPC and new developments come out everyday.

When more people find out about this coin we will probably never see LPC price below 200k satoshi again.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: My residential Solar + Mining farm on: July 19, 2018, 05:12:53 AM
String inverters have lower capital cost and higher rate of return.

For this sole quoted reason, I avoid microinverters. Theres lots of products out there that claim to optimize your panels along with many other features, but when it comes down to it, just step back and assess your purpose for building your solar array.

My opinion is that if you are in it to offset mining electricity costs and turn a decent profit then go with string inverters. If you are a efficiency hobbyist or a green peace person then go with microinverters.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ANN] LIGHTPAYCOIN LPC ⭐ MASTERNODES ✅ POS ⭐ MNO AND CRYPTOBRIDGE LISTED ✅ on: July 19, 2018, 01:41:04 AM
New paths are being opened by this currency, we should seize it. With the entry of CoinExchange prices can be handled in different ways in the positive sense. So the same does not depend on just two exchanges decentralizing the price values and adhesion of new investors.

Progressive I must say. Yesterday on this thread we had a talk out here about exchanges. I guess that prompted the fast listing. This seem a good move for a team that act to clear the doubts of investors.
Now LPC has getting more mature and price won't depend on a single exchange.

Everyday i become more amazed at how fast and progressive the LPC team works. It seems like never a day goes by without a new development or progress is being made. This is the stuff that makes coins successful. There is so much potential.

I look forward to the future of LPC. Now is a great time to buy more.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Multicoin, autoexchange vs single coin on: July 19, 2018, 01:35:51 AM
Back into mining after a few years off and I'm looking for some feedback on mining in pools with automatic coin switching and exchange like zpool and mining-dutch vs single coin mining.  There are a few alts I'd like to keep, but what has everyone's experience been for the best profits?

Welcome back! Great to see veterans still holding bitcoin.

With regards to automatic coins switching, i believe these are less profitable than mining the coin directly because auto-switching fees are applied every payout. So you pay double, for the payout tx fee and for the auto-switching fee. I guess these auto-switchers are useful for people who are mining at scale and don't mind the small fee for the convenience it brings.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ANN] LIGHTPAYCOIN LPC ⭐ MASTERNODES ✅ POS ⭐ MNO AND CRYPTOBRIDGE LISTED ✅ on: July 18, 2018, 02:43:39 AM
What happened to the price? lat time I checked it was trading 150Kish...

Just part of the crypto cycle. Bitcoin value has surged the past day and as expected all other altcoins, sadly including LPC, are taking a hit. However, there is no need to panic because history has shown that in a bull market, altcoins follow bitcoin's price. As bitcoin grows you can expect LPC to grow with it as well. This is all of course outside the fact that LPC is an amazing coin with immense potential for adoption and success.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain E3 Ethash Miner ASIC (Shipping:16-31 July. $800 USD) on: July 18, 2018, 01:47:22 AM

Yes, but we've been here for a while now, right?
https://www.coinwarz.com/difficulty-charts/ethereum-difficulty-chart
Attributing this 11% increase over 90 days to E3s shipping this week would be a stretch.

Exactly. The coinwarz eth difficulty chart is much more accurate and gives you a better picture of what is actually happening right now. I'm actually surprised that ETH difficulty hasnt skyrocketed yet. It's probably because bitmain already turned on these E3 ASICs months ago.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ANN] LIGHTPAYCOIN LPC ⭐ MASTERNODES ✅ POS ⭐ MNO AND CRYPTOBRIDGE LISTED ✅ on: July 18, 2018, 01:44:10 AM
Recently, the stacks stopped coming, literally about 3 days ago the reward was every day, and now I'm waiting for 26 hours. What should I do? Can I reload the wallet?
85 coins

I believe you are referring to "stakes" not stacks. Did you restart your wallet? Make sure you have staking turned on.

That being said, bitcoin and the entire crypto market has been surging since last night. LPC's value should soon follow. Everything looks good for LPC and i love that this coin is focused on future development and partnership. LPC is a good long term buy.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is dead on: July 17, 2018, 01:57:54 AM
Moreover, according to Bitcoin.com News, Ethereum is so congested that some exchanges are forced to disable ETH Wallets .

https://steemit.com/ethereum/@steem.racing/ethereum-network-congestion-forces-exchanges-to-halt-withdrawals

Just flagging the post above as a fake news article.

The article doesn't even mention which exchanges were affected. FYI, you can always check Ethereum network congestion using https://ethgasstation.info/ and currently as of writing ETH gas price is only 1 GWEI. Thats like $0.01 for a high speed transaction.

TLDR: The article shills some other shitcoin by spreading fake news. Obvious malicious intent.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain E3 Ethash Miner ASIC (Shipping:16-31 July. $800 USD) on: July 17, 2018, 01:50:36 AM
760w at 200-205mhs on youtube. Can any rigs get that or better?

Probably not. That's efficiency level could difficult to beat. Even if lets say some we have an rx 580 (which seems to be extremely efficient at mining ETH) doing 31 MH at only 110 watts (very low voltage), you would get 186 MH/s for 810w (660w+150w because you add the power consumption of mobo, cpu, other components).

Like many have mentioned before, the E3 is still more efficient than GPUs and would have been a solid buy at $800 (first batch price).

In a different analysis. Are the prices cheap to buy? In my opinion yes when comparing with the project proposal and what will actually deliver the prices are minimal compared to the actual price activity with the delivered product. However the team needs to interact more to attract investors or enthusiasts.

While interaction is necessary and important, let's not forget the Dev. team are also always working hard to implement various plans in line with growth and development of this project. Hence, there are moderators, marketers and social media managers to respond when there are enquiries. And more so, I trust LPC team, they are not lacking in communication at all. They are doing their best.

I strongly agree. Actually, the entire LPC team (dev, marketing, management etc.) has a been doing an extraordinary job with the way this coin is being put out there. I admire the active updates and constant partnership announcements. If anything, this shows their commitment and resolve to push this coin towards the limits of success. The price is actually oversold right now and is a great time to buy more LPC.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: a good time to buy? on: July 17, 2018, 01:29:10 AM

Images and tables like these paint a clear picture of why people should start selling their GPUs. I've found that using real examples is the best way to convince someone of something. That being said, this then should make it clear that now is VERY BAD time to buy GPUs. Buying coins? Maybe. But definitely it is clear that buying mining hardware now is a big NO NO.
