Do you think we will be able to use BTC in a couple of years to buy for example coffee?
It will be done when it needs to be done. And it should be done the right way. The tech already exists (Lightning Network). Currently it's not necessary, as coffee can be bought with $, €, £, etc., that everybody has in their wallets. Buying coffee with BTC doesn't solve any problem at all. There is no need to do something right now, just to prove something. It will be done when it needs to be done. |

For Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Kraken has already given its customers holding BTC the equivalent amount of BCH. For any other forks of BTC, like Bitcoin Gold, you can't. Not directly anyway, if at all. You'll have to wait for Kraken to give them to you (if they decide to do so). You should have transferred them out of Kraken and into a wallet for which you have access to the private keys or recovery seed, and all this had to be done before the time of each fork. |

The good thing for Bitcoin is that the recent rise appears to have low correlation with any movements in BCH. This means that the recent rise does not come from BCH holders playing the markets and moving their coins back and forth, but possibly from genuine, new investors intending to keep their coins and support BTC, especially now that there are no forks on the horizon to cause uncertainty.
Could this mean that we are heading for some stability and a rise to a new ATH and beyond? I hope so.
