A while back I had Cannelloni for the first time in my life, I saw it in the ready foods section and thought I would try it out.
Big disappointment, it tasted exactly like lasagna, I could just as well have bought that.
I think I have figured Italian food out, they only have one dish but they serve it a little bit differently and give it a new name.
Ground meat with tomato sauce between pasta sheets and some cheese sprinkled on top = lasagna
Ground meat with tomato sauce between rolled up pasta sheets and some cheese sprinkled on top = cannelloni
Ground meat with tomato sauce in a heap of shredded pasta sheets with some cheese sprinkled on top = spaghetti
Ground meat with tomato sauce on a flat piece of almost pasta and some cheese sprinkled on top = Pizza
and so on.
I'm not trying any more versions of Italian food ever again.

Don't do that, Arrie, or you'll be missing out on some of the best tasting dishes you can eat...

I consider Italian cuisine as the best tasting food in the world.

Second best (for me) is Middle Eastern cuisine.

On the other side of the scale, the absolute worst has got to be English cuisine. I remember, when I was in the UK for studies, how I was horrified to be served grilled pork steak covered in some sweet jam, I think it was pineapple jam or something like that. The mixing of super sweet foods with normally salty stuff, like meat, is utterly disgusting to me. I had to endure it for 11 years...

Now CSW will sue the blockchain

I just hope it's one step closer now to him being fucked in the ass by the courts; he's been a stain for far too long.

Were any of these coins that he was claiming were his?

I checked the first 5 addresses: all in Craig's list submitted to court!

I expanded on the matter here.

Perfect, just perfect!

Thanks nutildah!

1. I consider all those little fuckers and all the other altcoiners to be scammers. The altcoin experiment failed, and bitcoin can absorb any of their 'features' if necessary. They now exist purely to take people's bitcoin away by subterfuge. It's a finite resource; once it's gone it's very hard to get any more back.

2. I find these repetitive, variation on a theme memes to be like pornography. I need new and different all the time, otherwise I can't raise a smile.

i especially like ver in that cardboard tank. lol

A personal slave girl letting me do the things I want to do to her is still very expensive, much more expensive than 1 BTC (currently)... And I believe I've got the BTC side of things covered... I'm taking the girl.

PSA - Hang around here long enough, and you see the patterns...

...and they're all over Twitter and YouTube as well.

Their ultimate goal is to win you over with their personality or tech knowledge, then eventually get you to follow them down the dark path of selling all your BTC near the bottom (with some crazy bearish BTC prediction), or dumping all your BTC for some fly-by-night shitcoin scam that they suddenly start promoting out of no where.

They likely get kickbacks from someone to do this. Don't fall for it. Be very skeptical of these "crypto experts".

Those who can fall for this trap do not belong to this thread.

Is this all the bears & manipulators have got?

We’ll be at $15,000+ by the end of the year.

Take my last one...

Exactly. Not feeling the slightest bit of fear or anxiety.

Bring it on, bears. And see you next year.

however as much as i believe bitcoin is the future of money/wealth/store of value/whatever you want to call it i do live in the present. and i do realize that my "plan," while it has worked in the past, may need drastic revision at any point.

never stop learning.

Fair enough.  If all of a sudden, some very large and unanticipated expense rolled into your door.. you might have to say fuck.  And, you might have liquidate a decently large portion of your bitcoin's even though it was either last or towards the end of you liquidation list.

Nice for us to have those kinds of options, even though they do not necessarily resolve all issues that might end up coming in our direction.. including some major issues that could undermine our bitcoin stash, too..

I am in a similar situation to the one you describe and probably the solution is to sell BTC, this is the true magic of Bitcoin, the alarm light of the Fiat reserves has gone on, according to my plan, I cannot face the unforeseen and continue decapitalizing me, BTC will save my ass like other times.

No need to comment on the reason for this decision, we have enough shit in this 2020
As soon as I can recover financially, I will start buying again
Nothing changes, the same VB1, Bull, StrongHat, but practically with 0 BTC

Man, sorry to hear that VB...

Well, at least it was need, and not fear, that made you sell. After all, there are much more important things in life than even Bitcoin... In the end, it's just a tool, a means to realise our wants and needs. And if there's a great need for something very important, you use your fiat/BTC/whatever you have...

Just keep accumulating. I strongly believe that in a few years' time, having even one (1) BTC will be enough to set you up for life.

Holding bitcoin is always pretty stressful.

[...]

Not really. Not for me anyway. In fact, I've never slept better in my entire life since I became a HoDLer.

For a stress-free Bitcoin experience, you need 3 things:

1. Some capital to start you off, which you consider "already lost" the moment you exchange it for BTC.
2. Patience.
3. Believing in the idea/algorithm.

It's like a religion really, except that it is backed by science, and paradise is guaranteed to come in this lifetime.

Masterluc aka Pentarudi newest Update

Just dropping some stones into short term bearish pan. Hidden bearish divergences on daily chart.

https://www.tradingview.com/x/hDsbeO3p

Stick it up his ass...  Sad

Not so quick. It ain't over yet.

Yeah, the more times you roll the dice, the more chances your "prediction" ends up being correct.

We saw how Masterluc's "predictions" worked out in Mindrust's case, as a fellow WO recently commented.

Fcuk him.

anyone with 10BTC is a sat billionaire

I like this... I really like this

Not very easy to acquire 10 BTC these days, even though back in 2015 10BTC seemed like such a modest target.

Can you imagine?

10 BTC for around $2,500.... truely reachable for a lot of regular peeps... even if they would have had too spend the whole of 2015 stacking sats at $10 per week, they would have achieved (and perhaps exceeded) 10BTC by the end year.

Even though it may be a bit difficult to get 10BTC currently, the strategy for any beginner into BTC should still be something similar to what it was in 2015, and maybe $5 per week or maybe if you can afford it, $100 to $200 per week could work also, and maybe it could take a few years to get to 10BTC.. perhaps?   And, maybe some people will not be able to reach 10BTC, even if they started aggressively today.

Part of the issue should also be to continue to recommend NOT to overdo the investment plan.  Figure out an amount that works, and just start to accumulate, even if it only is $5 per week.  Also, lump summing can be o.k. too.. if you have some savings already then maybe you lump sum in with a decent amount and then supplement that lump sum amount with a DCA plan that is subsequently reasonable and just keeps stacking the sats, even if 10BTC might be difficult to achieve, getting to 1BTC might well end up being sufficient in 5, 10 or 20 years, so in stead of being a sat billionaire, you only reach sat 100million status.. just do whatever you can without over extending yourself..   You will thank hairy, later.   Wink Wink

+1. Added to sMerit queue.

Just popped in to tell you that I'm slowly getting my sense of smell back, never lost taste, but everything tasted bland and insipid.
Had a big mac today and it tasted good (don't worry, I used the drive through).

Did you get COVID-19?

Maybe you mentioned it, but I missed it, too busy with stuff IRL...

Yes I did, never got tested but I have all the symptoms.
No you didn't miss anything, I haven't said anything about it until now.
Fever, headache, loss of smell, tired as a bear in winter, and cough, witch I from now on will spell koff, bikårs aj kant be bodered to think in English spelling rajt nau.

Going back to bed, take care guys.

Edit: Got it from my brother and/or his wife, he's about five or six days ahead of me, and he said yesterday that he was feeling pretty good, but he's not in a risk group, so fingers crossed. His wife on the other hand, is in bed with a high fever.

I could tell you were sick with COVID-19 because of the loss of smell/taste. I read about these symptoms.

Glad you're doing OK. I believe if someone is healthy and has a strong body and immune system, he'll be OK and clear the infection. In fact, many of us may have already got it and haven't even realised. I've also felt quite sick several times since the beginning of 2020. Could have been COVID-19, who knows?

I think everything will be fine eventually. This is not the first pandemic the world has suffered, and it certainly won't be the last. If anything, COVID-19 has made us all review our priorities and take better care of ourselves and each other.

Of course, in a global disaster like this, there will always be the scaremongers, those who "feed" on such situations, spreading conspiracy theories and doom-and-gloom scenarios. The worse the situation becomes, the happier and more satisfied they feel, which should tell us something about their perversely sick psyche. I'm not saying we should not take measures to protect ourselves, of course we should. But mixing COVID-19 with 666, population-controlling vaccines, RFID chips, chem-trails, 5G and aliens, just doesn't make sense to me...

Wishing you all the best, and hope the virus clears away soon, if it hasn't already.

At first I used to think how cool the sex addicts must be from the other floor of rehab, but then you get to know them a bit and they are even more miserable than us alcys, and we're pretty damn boring. They were all hideous too, even the women. Pity them now in these circumstances having to charge out and get their rocks off, not just with sex infections a possibility but virus too. Glad I gave it up tbh but could do with a whopping great snifter right now too.

I don't think I could ever become an alcoholic. I've gotten drunk several times in my life, next day I'm back to normal (maybe with a headache), but never had an urge to drink again. I just drink when I go out with friends, etc. Never alone. No alcohol in the house. I guess that, to become an alcoholic, there must be other issues that play a major part, not the alcohol itself.

Same with cigarettes. Like, when I lost my father, I was far away from him, living in another country, couldn't even attend his funeral. My smoking friends offered me cigarettes, to help with the loss. WTF? Will a cigarette or a drink bring my father back? Of course not. If anything, I see this behavior as a sign of weakness of character. I don't want to forget my problems, I want to solve them, and if I can't, I'll learn to live with them.

OTOH, alcoHoDLism, yes, I can understand that. Already addicted...  Grin

The dude says 2020

First half of 2021 I went for. Sooner is better though obviously.

I was kind of wishing that the poll would have divided up 2020 to show how sentiment in regards to reaching an ATH this year might even have a couple of levels of bullishness that can be distinguished.  So, for example, have in the poll one 2020 option for between May- October and a second option for 2020 of between October-December.

I usually attempt to be pretty conservative in my expectations of future BTC prices, but I could see a kind of fake out that goes above ATH and then severely corrects back down that follows a kind of 2013 pattern of an early top that ends up in a double top, but probably overall more conservative than the whole 2013 bull run because that one was a bit much and could even be argued to have been in excess of 100x when looking at both of those runs together.... so i did choose 2020 as witnessing an ATH, but I am thinking that it would be more likely in October or later, rather than before October... just a tentative thought based on current transient feelings (to the extent that I feel anything)

I think that a 100x run would be difficult to attain, but I am not really seeing reaching the previous ATH as very difficult to attain, even in this calendar year.. but yeah, maybe it will not happen until sometime in 2021... and of course, it has to happen before the end of 2021, otherwise you, LFC, are going to be having to pay a disingenuine shill troll... aka Bossian or whatever the fuck his user name was... (I just looked up that fucktwat, and looks like he removed the reference to the bet - and the pay him address from his signature.. what a fucking increasing likelihood to get scammed to get involved with any dealings with twats like that)  hahahahahaahaha.. then it would suck to be you.    Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Wasn't expecting you, Jay, to vote for 2020! I like this!

I guess I'm more conservative than you -- I voted for 2nd half of 2021. Let's hope you're right (or I am), and, more importantly, let's hope it keeps rising afterwards (even slowly). We don't want to see another 2017 plunge (something urges me to place a McAfee bet that we won't). I think 2021 onwards will be very interesting, and very rewarding for those who endured the long bear winter we went through.

GTCTTWW, but if it comes sooner, all the better for us.

Nice setup, strawbs!

Still have my Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K (pictured earlier), in full working order (well, it worked 30+ years ago when I last used it), in its original box.

Tau Ceti. The very best game of its time. A truly immersive gaming experience.
