Rise and shine.

Bitcoin is pumping again, and I feel great!

Weather is super. Going out in nature, walk a bit, jog a bit, breath some fresh air and enjoy the feeling of having earned good money while sleeping.

Life's good, enjoy it, guys 'n' gal!

Pointless post...

My day went great. A big purchase I was responsible for at work went perfect. All happy.

So I'm chilling, now listening to Khalid, Disclosure - Know Your Worth and lovin' it!

And Bitcoin is pumping, what more could one ask for?  Cool

If you thought holding was hard over the past few years, just wait until the #Bitcoin  price is ascending relentlessly, instigating you to sell down your stack.

*Develop a strategy now and do not deviate*

Strong-handedness is more critical in bull markets than bear markets.

https://twitter.com/breedlove22/status/1288682370090950657?s=21

3 day RSI above 85 -> sell a bit.

Buy back lower.

Repeat.

Easy.

I see your point, but the stress and trouble of being glued to the computer screen for hours on end, waiting to catch the right moment to buy/sell is just too much for me. Not to mention that, in some cases, you may not be able to "buy back lower" and end up mindrusting it all...

I'd rather HoDL. See, HoDLing is stress-free -- it earns you money while you sleep (nice quote, Mr. Buffett). Sure, short-term profits are modest, if any, but long-term gains are not too bad (only about 500% for me). I can live with that.

At the risk of starting a heated debate...

Digital is the clear winner, there's no question about it. Digital is a wild force that conquers everything in its path. Computing, audio, photography, video, communications, now cash... You name it.

Analog still has its place in areas where digital has not yet entered. The universe and its quantities are fundamentally analog, so there will always be a bridge between analog and digital (microphones and speakers will stay analog for a very long time).

Analog has sentimental value (that "good old times" kind of feeling).
Analog is romantic (for the ladies -- sorry to our female WOs, but it's true, speaking from experience).

But digital is The King. Those who disagree are entering Flat Earth territory.

Re. BCH / BSV:

Endless repetitions of already discussed topics don't really help.

Before the airplane, scientists of the time used to say "if it's heavier than air it won't fly" -- but it did, and went to the moon.

So....?? You’re saying birds are lighter than air? 🤪

Not me...

I guess they excluded living creatures... Maybe they thought God makes them fly...  Cheesy

Re. BCH / BSV:

Endless repetitions of already discussed topics don't really help.

Before the airplane, scientists of the time used to say "if it's heavier than air it won't fly" -- but it did, and went to the moon.

Now we have BCH / BSV supporters saying "if it can't do more transactions / second it can't fly" -- but it just might! And go to the moon too!

Words are easy, especially combined with an inflated ego, arrogance, a closed mind, and a tendency to generalize over-simplified concepts. Let's discuss this in 3-5 years from now, and I hope both sides have the wisdom and humility to accept defeat and congratulate the winning side.

My bet is on BTC. And if it turns out that BTC does not survive, I bet its successor will NOT be BCH, and it will NOT be BSV. BCH / BSV are already dead. Their creators made sure of that.

SOMA guess:

$12k / BTC before the weekend.

The good thing is that it's not Barting...

Downward pressure is quickly counteracted by pampenings...

Soon the last remaining barriers will fall and the bull will be unleashed.

$20k by Xmas? *drools*

Slightly possible. But I sincerely hope it doesn't go to attack the 2017 ATH until 2021. It will be better in the long run that way. Fuck FOMO.

I agree. Slow and steady. No need to be greedy. Let the Badger do its thing.

Even $13k to $15k by Xmas is fine by me.

2021 will be the "Year of the Moon" for Bitcoin.

Oh and did anyone see Pomp annihilating Peter Schiff last night?  I did not used to really respect him, but his perspective has matured and sharpened a LOT over the last few years... he's a real asset for BTC.  Understands it, and delivers extremely well on TV etc.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gwmxx5o8cn4

"How do I hang up"?  That's how Schiff ends the podcast.  Probably just thinks it funny.  But he was GIVEN bitcoin and "lost the password".

Seriously.  This is the reality that we have to build for (I say we).

When I hear Matt O'dell describing privacy best practices, and he and Marty trying to get people to run nodes, and all that I just shake my head.  It's not that this is not important, but it's that it's MORE IMPORTANT to onboard all the non-geeks.  Peter Schiff lost his BTC because the tech was too hard for him.

There are SOOO MANY people this is true for.  And they are not all boomers.

This is why I still think Cash App and probably eventually Paypal will end up being the most important layer two solutions.

Us geeks can custody ourselves and use multi-sig and so on.

Anyway Schiff is such a bonehead.

Enemies are made when you mix incompetence with inflated ego, arrogance and a false sense of superiority.

A smart person losing his BTC "password" would praise Bitcoin for its impenetrable security, educate himself and buy more BTC.

A stupid, arrogant egoist losing his BTC "password" ends up a Bitcoin enemy for life...

I went fully ShAzAm too fast. I spilled all my yogurt all over my screen. Cheesy

I love you all, guys ('n' gal)!
#no-homo

Fullhomo for BTC when it's being an absolute beast like it is right now.

ATH in minutes! Observing $11140
What the freak? Huh
And me without a new hat to mark this milestone.
Xhomerx where are you!? Cheesy

I'm already wearing my 5-digit one... Will show in a bit.

xhomerx10 better be prepared for full-time hat-making... Soon we'll need a 6-digit hat refresh.

...but his mind was all rusted...
...it was Masterluc he trusted...

[...]

And if all of the above hasn't made you, mindrust,
Reconsider, and quickly get some corn in your stash,
It won't be r0aches or ants,
At the seat of your pants,
But the boot of a HoDLer in your stubborn fat ass!

Fuck I wouldn't want to be mindrust right about now  Grin

Yup, he popped into my head earlier today. Can't decide whether to think of him with sympathy or stupidity in mind. I can't help but feel sympathy for him, but the stupidity of selling at $3xxx, after he'd spent so much time here with fellow WOers, wins out. Fundamentals, etc.

Sorry for his losses but he really should have known better. Never mind, just suck it up and buy back, as we all advised at the time. Then, after learning how to hodl through anything, in x years from now, he'll hardly remember the act of stupidity and will need no sympathy.

But he'll know that his name will live forever as a verb: 'to mindrust' - or, 'to do a mindrust' - the act of failing to hodl

verb, mind·rust·ed, mind·rust·ing.
to fail to hodl; to sell, by way of panic:
e.g. The foolish gambler mindrusted all of his bitcoins away.

The Mindrust Maneuver  Grin

Or the phrase: to "go full mindrust."

E.g.: "He went full mindrust and lost it all in an instant."

Looks like this is the beginning of something BIG...

No Bart in sight...

Not surprised... We all know where BTC is going to be in the (near) future. It's just happening.

Onwards & UPwards.
