Many do not match.

No he is saying is that is that you cannot measure the rotation of the earth using small children's toy's. They are not a sensitive enough instrument.

It is possible to build a gyroscope that measures the rotation in real time but that is something of an undertaking.

You're implying that solid state gyroscopes such as the ring laser are the only kind suitable for testing if the Earth rotates, that's also a lot of bullshit. The experiment you're showcasing is purportedly to measure some subtle variation in Earth's so-called rotation. This is overkill for the simple task of testing for the presence of rotation.

I agree that this modern experiment I highlighted above is an overkill for the simple task of testing for the presence of rotation. Science has long moved passed that and is now measuring the small variations that occur in this rotation. BobLawblaw above already highlighted the Michelson-Gale experiment done almost a hundred years ago which tackled the simpler task of measuring the angular velocity of the Earth.

If the moon was in "space" you would not be able to see it in the day time

You can focus a camera in the distance and then use the same setting and the point camera point at the moon and the moon is in focus  50 miles vs 237000 miles... how is this possible?

The moon is always (sets and rises)  full only in the "hemisphere" which is in winter.
If it rises/sets in the north east- north west - its winter in the northern hemisphere
If it rises/sets in the south east - south west - its winter in the southern hemisphere

Right^^^. They don't have enough science behind their claims to make flat earth into a theory, let alone to prove that it is true.

What they have is a religion. It isn't a philosophy, because they don't philosophize about it. They simply have a bunch of beliefs that don't have a basis in fact or reality.

If a person tries to argue on rational grounds that it is reasonable to be skeptical of an oblately-spherical Earth because they don't "check it in practice," then in order to be consistent he needs to be skeptical of a litany of other facts he hasn't personally verified. 

Some examples may include: the existence of any country they haven't been to; molecules and atoms; bacteria; photons; his own mortality; any image/photo/video of any event they didn't personally witness; etc.

It's easy to see how consistent application of such extreme skepticism would be detrimental to him.

You do not have to trust NASA.  If you are willing to spend the money you can go up in a balloon 24 miles and see the curvature of the earth for yourself. Like the guy who broke the skydiving record a few years back.

Maths, yeah to you use the 8 inch per mile squared or the distance (miles, km, cm, inch......) multiplied by 0.318 to bet height of drop? At what distance you start to see the "hump" of water. Why trees, grass ...grows Up when gravity is so strong that it keeps you to the ground?
