According to this curvature calculator (https://dizzib.github.io/earth/curve-calc/), the amount hidden by the earth is 2052 m

Elevation of Monte Viso: 3800 m
Visible height: 1748m

Now, I'll admit there is a flaw in the calculation, but if you can't find it, you will just have to take the result as-is.

Generally, pictures are meant to be seen. Being seen has to do with the eye. We know that the lens of the eye flips a picture backward, so that the eye actually sees an inverted, backward picture on the retina. This is important, because the retina is curved, making the so-called flat picture into a concave image on the retina. But, since the eye shows things inverted and backward, we can tell that the reverse of reality regarding the concave is also true. This means that the earth is convex from where we can see it. But if our range of vision took in the whole earth, the earth would be seen as globular, as it is.

This is just my hypothesis,
i think the presence of aurora bureallis is one of the proofs? because if the earth is flat then there is no north and south pole that have magnetic interactions with one another to produce the said phenomenon.
