What is the obstacles, challenges and problems that Bitcoin can face it in 5 years? How we can help Bitcoin to take more authoritative place in the world of currency system?

I don't know what will happen in the next five years about in bitcoin because I'm not a psychic. Actually, obstacles, problems and challenges are always become a tail of it. The factor that we can give support into it is let us continue to patronize and share it to our friends who are closed to us by simply referring it to them.

course of obstacles and problems on bitcoin will always come, ranging from the issue of in such price or from the outside as a competitor and so forth, but if bitcoin users continues to believe and continue using bitcoin, bitcoin will then continue to survive

In 5 years, it can become stable than now, i think in one condition if it would be regulated. For my opinion, for somehow Bitcoin must be regulated. Hiwever, the total centralization would kill all key features for what we value cryptocurrency. So I think after 5 years we find the way how to regulated it, but keep its features as well. Otherwise, it remain unstable, And it is popularity would grow slowly as well as an investment in it but not mainstream fastly.

5 years is a medium term projection, but regulated by who, if government start to regulate BTC, alot of people will move into another project and the aim is defeated.  BTC derives most of its price because of its anonymous property and makes it suitable for Dark market users.

For me, I want the scaling issue resolved this year so as to move into another BTC use case

The government will not only target bitcoin because they know our next option, the whole crypto currencies will be regulated but not literally what we are thinking because they cannot do that directly to crypto currencies. They will make an avenue to regulate us and that is by using the exchange sites.

Through exchange sites? Problem is the owners of those websites will not approve with this kind of thing. So what will be their next step? It will be forcing us to use something that they have created or else there would be consequences. Something like a law might be created for their own purposes. Who wants the people to be free if they can get more. Pfft.

Within the next 5 years I am still optimistic with bitcoin, but after that, bitcoin will die and be replaced with better coin. So we hold a maximum of bitcoin is only 5 years, when the price goes up and you think high, then do not rush to sell, because the price in 5 years still rising.

it is not inevitable, it is more like wishful thinking, because nothing can replace government issued fiat currency. and even if cryptocurrencies become much more popular than now, the government will start issuing their own cryptocurrency which will be again like fiat and centralized.

That has nothing to do with the price of bitcoin.The main reason for the current price is that people found a new system without any regulations and you could do anything with it and the prices are really volatile and that is really conducive for an avid trader and it is now used as an investment platform because of the expected high return ,these things are the reason for the price we are seeing at this moment.

yes there is no need to spread wrong news about bitcoin, i think we need to introduce bitcoin to our fiends and other people so that they can also start using bitcoin and make bitcoin more stronger than its present position, we can see that the bitcoin community is increasing and that is only because that people have faith and confident on bitcoin, and it is our responsibility to increase that faith and confident of the people.

Bitcoin is no doubt the currency for the future with a current market cap of $13billion and daily transactions of upto $500 million; even though this isn't enough to influence the world economy today I strongly believe it will thrive even better with time as we create the awareness for the whole world to get involved and adopt Bitcoin as their secondary currency. I do not agree to your idea. It is certain that the trend of Bitcon will continue at least one century. Because there are only 21 millions Bitcoin on this planet, there will be no inflation. Bitcoin can not be printed arbitrarily because Bitcoin is not FIAT and it is not controlled by the Government. And the additional reason why people love Bitcoin is that it is more secure than other currencies In the future, we will see more cryptos existing on this planet and maybe it will become even more popular than Bitcoin

Bitcoin is assumed to be infinitely divisible

So there is no reason to think that there won't be enough bitcoins to use it as a currency. In fact, there will always be enough money to facilitate the exchange of goods since whatever the amount of money is available for circulation (provided the unit of money can be easily divided into subunits), it will be balanced with the amount of goods traded through price (less coins higher the price). In practice, that may and will certainly cause a host of other problems but these won't be related to this issue as such

Bitcoin can be broken down to smaller units if needed so do not worry about that part of the puzzle and if that is possible do you think that it can be technically used as a currency.Either way the fact is bitcoin can be broken down to smaller units and with time and price increase we would see much smaller units of the coin.

Indeed.  it is far too far from where we are.  Why not think about bitcoin price tomorrow or next week or next month or rather the whole 2017?  It is more rational to discuss this range of time about bitcoin price, adoption  and economy rather than jumping more than a decade for speculation.

The most important is to have a lot of merchants adopt bitcoin

I think many company and website are already adopting bitcoin and i think more company will adopt bitcoin since still not acceptable by well know online shop like amazon and ebay.. keep increasing the people who are using by adopting it and more company are join and support bitcoin..
And i believe that bitcoin can be stay long and live for too long just like other payment methods..
