Very first Australian Cricket Team likely strong as they restrict Indian Cricket Team to 252 but could not survive against the Indian bowling!

Again a cracking performance from India and Australia looked completely out of form. Today Virat batted beautifully while I'm disappointed with Dhoni. That wicket was too easy for Australia and I felt they were 25-30 runs short because of Dhoni's wicket but Kumar and Yadav's bowling costed Australia the game. The first were 9 for 2 and then from 85 for 3 wickets, the next 5 wickets fell in less than 100 runs. Stoinis alone couldn't manage to save the game and today it was really not Aussie's luck to win. They started off badly but I felt their bowling was good.

Once again the rivalry will start in a few days time when India v Australia in the 1st ODI match in Chennai. I'm really looking forward to this 5 ODI series as Australia seem to play well in the ODI's over there unlike the test matches so I think they have a very good chance at winning this series. Yes it was a big win by India. I thought Australia bowled well to restrict India to 252 runs and were in with a chance to chase down that total but once again Australia's batting let them down. Losing 8 wickets for only 100 odd runs isn't good enough. I don't understand why the Australian batsman play like this when they play for their country but in the IPL they bat well, it doesn't make sense to me as they should be used to the conditions in India now with playing in the IPL. India should win the series now as I can't see Australia coming back from 2-0 down in the series.

What a shame ! I expected this ODI series to be far more interesting than this Aussies lost the first two matches and looks like they can't compete with Indians . Kudos to Stoinis for not giving up and trying his best .

The weather conditions, ground conditions and the performance of players in their home country changes a lot as compared to when they play in a foreign soil. Their ability can't be judged that way as these conditions don't suit the foreign players while Aussies have a lot of experience in playing in India and still they lost the game. They have won many matches here but this year their performance has taken a down turn, especially after the Champion's league. They aren't able to score even 250 runs now when earlier they made 400+ runs in ODI games in India. The next match too looks like a loss for them.

It was actually disappointing to see that there was not fightback after losing the first match. But Indian bowlers must be appreciated because the score on board was just not enough to defend against OZ lineup but bowlers played their part well and made India win this match.
