Are you following this tri nation series between West Indies, Ireland and Bangladesh. Seems like WI is a very average team in front of Bangladesh. Ireland is not even making any fight against any of them.

So, I will keep Bangladesh ahead then West Indies. I don't think the other added players will make any difference from Indies team. You need to remember that these players are very good T20 players but not in up to the mark for ODI.

Kiwis can be a good contestants but not enough I think. South Africa will be better than them.

Yeah, Bangladesh is ahead of Windies in the longer format. Windies can win a couple of matches with power hitting but its not a long term solution if you are competing with top teams in World Cup. Let's see what happens during Warm-up matches.

And Ireland is a gone case. Irish players are eligible to represent England, and therefore if a player is at international standard, then he'll just dump his motherland and adorn the colors of England (the same with the case of Scotland and Wales). Without their best players, they can get nowhere. Imagine an Irish side with Eoin Morgan and Ed Joyce. They'll be able to give tough competition to anyone. But we'll never get to see such a team.

I just don't understand why some people seem to think that IPL or T20 performances = ODI and Test performances. It does not make any sense whatsoever. West Indies stand no chance even with their big hitters in the ODI and test formats in my opinion currently and I am confident that the upcoming matches will prove that.

Yes, during the match sessions too you can hear the experts statement that we cannot predict a winner with the play in a T20 in comparison TO ODI. Best part is that it shows some good players to the world who haven't got recognized earlier. When it comes to West Indies they suddenly get into form and go completely opposite in a single match. So they too possible give tough fight.

People are over-estimating the return of Warner and Smith in my opinion. Warner seems to be in terrific form, but Smith seems to be out of form.

Here is my ranking for the 10 teams, in the decreasing order of probability of winning CWC 2019:
1. Australia
2. England
3. India
4. South Africa
5. New Zealand
6. West Indies
7. Pakistan
The remaining teams (Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh) have no chance of reaching the playoffs, so I am not including them in the ranking.

England have a realistic chance to win the World cup along with India, i do not think that Australia have a chance with the team they have right now, they won more times than any other country but during those domination they had the best players in their playing eleven but that cannot be said now, South Africa had better players earlier but they never play according to their strength in world tournaments, the chance of India winning the world cup depends on two players Kohli and Dhoni as they are the best players in world cricket and no one will argue against it.

Australia has more chance than any other team, if you think no, I would say you didn't watch cricket within last 5-6 months. They have one of the best team for this world cup along with some experoenced players. Their batsman are having runs regularly, I think they have the most chance to win it.

I agree that Australia will always be a tough team to beat, but their current team is great though not as powerful as previous lineups. They have been beaten many times in the past 5-6 months which is why you need to do your research before making such wild statements.

Are people still forgetting that this Australian team beat India on home soil after coming back from 2-0 down in the series? Yes India might of been experimenting with players but the Australian team wasn't what you would call the strongest team that took on India as it was basically the same team that India beat playing on Australian soil. I still see people say not as powerful as previous Australian teams but no one posts why they think this? What is missing from the current Australian team that makes people think this? The bowling attack is one of the best in the world and with Finch in top form and Usman Khawaja the top order is one of the best. I know the middle order is a little weak however as I have said Smith will be back and make the middle order stronger and we never know when Maxwell will fire so Australia has a lot of fire power and are strong so people on here need to stop comparing this Australian team with previous teams.

Your points are valid and everyone knows that Australia will always be a dominating force in the world of Cricket, but I used to observe how the previous lineups dominated other teams in the past and I cannot say the same for the current lineup.

The current lineup does consist of some amazing players without a doubt, but they have more weakness this time around. The only quality bowlers in their team are Cummins, Starc and Zampa currently in my opinion.

Full strength WI means a side that has Gayle, Pollard, Bravo, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Evin Lewis and Carlos Brathwaite. These guys are some of the top cricket players in the world right now. Today they are playing against Bangladesh without half of their best players, and otherwise BAN would be having zero chances.

Have you checked the domestic cricket structure in Bangladesh? They have regional tournaments, but they are not very popular. The most popular domestic tournament remains the Dhaka premier league (apart from the BPL).
