Anyone watching the (women's) match between England and Thailand (ICC Women's T20 World Cup)? Thailand won the toss and chose to field first. And England lost a wicket early on and they are 1/1 after 1 over. The match is being shown live (@ Star Sports 2 HD in India). Thailand is participating in an ICC tournament for the first time ever and they have done well till now. Their first match was against West Indies. Although they lost the match, they gave a good fight.
Women's twenty/20 world cup is going with full of upsets as in first match India beat hot favourite Australia then we have South Africa beat England and now today we have third upset as Pakistan beat West Indies look like now circle of game is changing here as hot favourites goind down very badly even still all teams going with full chances but its very interesting we have good matches.

Furthermore the Indian women’s team has won their game against New Zealand, and have now entered the semi finals and I have a strong feeling that they’ll win the T20 World Cup as they look unbeatable to me what are your thoughts?. I would like to see India as the champions, but they are not the no.1 ranked team right now (unlike the case with the men's team). Both England and Australia are being regarded as stronger than India. India has won all three of their matches so far, but their big test will come in the next stage (when they will face teams such as England and South Africa).

South Africa v Australia starts later today, after the poor performance by SA in the last T20 game, they will be looking to bounce back strong. I'm just hoping that the game will be a close game between the two teams. I think Australia will win the match but I think the odds are too short to bet on at around $1.40.

South Africa will not be able to challenge Australia with the present team they have, they won the second T20 which was unexpected as they were destined to loose that match but they somehow came back in the game as they bowled really well and put pressure back but ODI is a different game and Australia will dominate the match and the series.

Many domestic issues and now Rabada is also out from International cricket for some time its hurting very badly for South African cause on other hand home serious against Mighty Australia and then away series again India is very tough time for them because right now they have nothing to show in positive way.

I'm not really surprised that SA won the first ODI against Australia as they really needed to bounce back strong after a poor performance in the T20 series. I am a little surprised that they were able to bowl Australia out cheaply and win the match by 74 runs, I was expecting the match to be a lot closer but it didn't happen as the SA bowlers had a well rounded performance with all the SA bowlers taking wickets.

Poor start for Indians in the 2nd innings but until NZ succeeds to get Pujara's wicket India is on the upper hand.
Indian bowlers did well to take quick wickets and restrict the NZ to 235 . The match is very much alive and I feel like it's a good time to bet . My bets are on NZ.

1st session ,
Completely under the control of Indian bowlers as they managed to break the partnership and went on picking up wickets . They did very well to not allow NZ batsmen to cross the trial . ( Disappointed in Kane , he got out in a terrible way as he couldn't make up his mind whether to face the ball or leave it )
2nd and 3rd session ,
Again a disaster for Indian team , the top order batsmen never looked settled including Kohli who once again failed to score above 20 runs ( for 6th consecutive innings now ) . I thought Rahane and Pujara would build a solid partnership but to be honest I have never seen Rahane in such a miserable way as I did today , he missed most of the shots and got out in terrible way . Pujara was looking solid but he failed to defend a masterpiece delivery by Boult .
Day 2 stumps - India lead by 97 runs but have lost 6 wickets .
Predictions? Well its not yet over for India , both Vihari and Pant are capable batsmen and Jadeja is yet to bat but I think this is NZ's match .

Its most likely over for India unless they post a total close to 200 which seems doubtful considering the recent performances of Vihari and Pant. Jadeja can only do so much for the team. Pathetic batting performance overall. However, if they manage to post a 200 lead, India still have a chance since their bowlers are bowling well. If they manage to get the tail-enders quickly after the primary batsmen, they can actually win this one.

Some time low scoring matches give interesting results so I am also feeling if India able to reach 150+ then surely we will watch interesting end of this match but problem is pitch is just 3 days old with good for batting but Jadeja Bumrah and Shami still capable of bringing shocking result.

This match has already gone out of India's hand.

Exactly my thoughts. This pitch seems to be doing wonders for the bowlers which is why the bowlers that you mentioned can be lethal. Also, Umesh could be effective too once he hits his stride. I still feel this game is 50-50 at this point. However, 150 seems to be way too low. 200 seems ideal and the tail-enders seems like India's biggest nightmare these days. Pant and Jadeja are the batsmen to watch.

150 is difficult but not impossible just because Jadeja is left to bat but still it's not enough to have 157 runs to chase down as the bowlers won't be able to restrict them it being their home land. It's still satisfying to see bowlers pick up NZ's wickets and not let them reach 300 from where we would see the end of the match today itself. Just thinking if we had Dhoni, even 200 runs could be expected but...

This match has already gone out of India's hand. It is a really tough situation for India as the batsman are not able to put up partnership to give the bowlers a total to defend and i am not expecting much from the tale end players when the top order failed miserably in putting up partnerships and the New Zealand bowlers are bowling a tight line and length with occasional bouncers which are troubling the India batsman and if they are able to reach 200 runs it would be an awesome performance by the tail end players which i highly doubt will happen.

Anyone following the ongoing ICC Women's T20 World Cup? India have won all of their group matches (4 out of 4), which is a great achievement for them (given the low profile of the women's team in India). In Group B, South Africa has won 3 out of 3, with one match against West Indies remaining. If South Africa wins that match, then India's opponents in Semi finals will be England.

Whatever they may do, the defeat is certain as there are 3 complete days left. The only way they can win is to take quicker wickets of New Zealand and all out them before reaching the target but with a small target, New Zealand would surely devise a proper strategy for chasing. The only other thing that may intervene is the weather.

I agree that it's low scoring as well as interesting but I think in the second innings we will see Kane Williamson and Taylor performing well . I think they have got themselves a great chance to win the tournament but it will be a very very tough fight . Hope they win though .

They just need to win two more games (this is women's tournament and it has just 10 teams as participants, when compared to 16 for the men's tournament). But it is going to be really tough. In India, there is no proper structure for women's domestic cricket. On the other hand, teams such as Australia and England are miles ahead in this regard.

The only other thing that may intervene is the weather. For India to win with them loosing 6 wickets already and with a small lead of under hundred runs it will be a huge task for the rest of the batsman to score big from this situation to pose a challenging target for New Zealand, i am expecting the New Zealand fast bowlers to pick the rest of the wickets within the first hour and win the match easily as there is plenty of time for New Zealand to win the match even if India is somehow able to score a lead of over 200 runs.
