Trump Rents Iowa Theater For Free Showing Of Benghazi Movie, 13 Hours…

Donald Trump has rented space at an Urbandale movie theater and will give Iowans free tickets to a showing of the Benghazi movie that critics of Hillary Clinton have been eagerly awaiting.

“Mr. Trump would like all Americans to know the truth about what happened at Benghazi,” the GOP presidential candidate’s Iowa co-chair Tana Goertz said Thursday night.

Trump will pay for the showing of 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi at 6 p.m. Friday at the Carmike Cobblestone 9 Theatre, Goertz said.

“The theater is paid for. The tickets are paid for. You just have to RSVP,” she said.

The movie depicts the terrorist raid on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya on Sept. 11, 2012. It reportedly makes no mention of Clinton, then the U.S. secretary of State, but has again raised the topic of the Democratic presidential candidate’s role in the tragedy, three months after Republicans grilled her on her response to the attacks during an 11-hour congressional hearing in October.

Trump, a billionaire New York real estate entrepreneur, flies to Iowa for a 10 a.m. campaign rally on Friday at Living History Farms in Urbandale. He’s currently in second place in the GOP presidential race here, trailing Texas Sen. Ted Cruz by 3 points, the latest Des Moines Register/Bloomberg Politics Iowa Poll shows.

This is the single most stunning poll number on Donald Trump I have seen

Donald Trump, as I tell anyone who asks, defies virtually every political rule I thought I knew.

There's no better encapsulation of Trump's up-is-down-and-down-is-up effect on  presidential politics than a new number from the just-released NBC/Wall Street Journal poll.

The question asked is a simple one: Could you see yourself supporting [fill in the blank candidate] for the Republican nomination for president? When NBC/WSJ  first asked GOP voters that question about Trump last March, fewer than one in four (23 percent) said they could see themselves voting for him.

To say that things have changed since then is an understatement on the level of saying Tom Brady is a pretty decent quarterback. Witness this chart built by the indispensable Philip Bump.

It's hard to overstate how remarkable it is that the number of Republicans who could see themselves backing a Trump nomination rose 42 — FORTY TWO — percentage points in 10 months. It's all the more remarkable when you consider that Trump was already totally known by the GOP electorate last spring, meaning that his gains since that time are almost entirely the result of him changing peoples' minds. And it's something else entirely when you consider how Trump got here — a mixture of bravado and anger sprinkled with a dose of controversial statements and seeming gaffes that would have felled lesser candidate many times over.

Trump's improvement on the "could you see yourself voting for him" question is amazing enough in a vacuum. When you compare his rise on the question to, say, how Jeb Bush has fared on it, you begin to appreciate the true remarkableness of what Trump has done. Again, this chart comes courtesy of Philip Bump.

If you need a single chart that tells the fact-really-is-stranger-than-fiction story of the Republican race to date, that's it.

What a race.  I can't even begin to wonder what's coming next month when voters actually start voting.

I think we need to elect Trump, Cruz and Rubio.

Trump can be president.

Cruz can be put in charge of the IRS, that is, in charge of shutting down the IRS.

Rubio can do "meet and greet" in the visitor's lobby of Congress, where every day he can tell visitors the story of his grandfather.

And Chris Christi?  He could be put to work on the White House lawn with a shotgun, shooting down drones.  Or falling on them, squashing them.

Heidi Cruz Likes Donald Trump’s ‘The Apprentice’

Heidi Cruz does not consider herself a television critic. A Goldman Sachs executive, wife of Senator Ted Cruz and mother of two, she says she has little time to keep up with the small screen.

But years ago, one show earned her praise: “The Apprentice,” starring Donald J. Trump.

“Did you watch the TV reality show ‘The Apprentice,’ where 16 people competed for a job with Donald Trump?” Mrs. Cruz asked graduates during her commencement speech in May 2004 at Southern Adventist University in Tennessee.

“I love that show,” she said, “because those people risked failure in front of 28 million viewers to go for something that they really wanted. This wasn’t just any failure. This was banishment from the Park Avenue board room on television.”

She added, “To me, that takes guts.”

It was “The Apprentice,” of course, that helped further burnish the status of Mr. Trump, already a well-known real estate developer, as a celebrity and media icon, before his presidential bid.

Even as relations between Mr. Trump and Mr. Cruz have become strained — Mr. Trump has repeatedly questioned Mr. Cruz’s eligibility for the top job, citing his Canadian birth — Mrs. Cruz has not backed down from her long-ago review.

“I’m not great at TV references, but I did like ‘The Apprentice’ because it was a show that gave people a chance to have a start,” she said in an interview, adding: “There was a measurable result and decision. That’s a thing I like about the private sector.”

“So I’d probably stand behind that reference,” she said.

LONDON — Debate began Monday in the British Parliament over whether to ban U.S. Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump from visiting the United Kingdom. The debate, which was started by an online petition that described Trump's comments ... as offensive to deviants, pedophiles, screwballs and general fruitcakes which constitute most of the parliament.

I am a fun and lovely guy. We would argue for years and you would anticipate our next meeting every time, religiously...
We love the concept of bitcoin. That is why we are here. Do I know Trump loves bitcoin? He may try to ban it. Who knows, but I will be sure to create a thread about him if this happens

And no, I will never wish anything bad to happen to you and your loved ones, not even a paper cut.

You dying from an aneurysm because of a Willikon Killer K.O. (WKKO) would be just mother nature doing its stuff, nothing else...

Enjoy the ride, we are all on top of the food chain here.

Ahah! Well you sure are fun =D

I hope I'll be able to meet you one day. And maybe we'll never have to choose between our two ideologies, cause it seems we don't have much in common here but our faith in a currency system not in the hands of banks Wink
