It seems unrealistic to happen anytime soon. Bitcoin need, first, to reach a greater number of users, to then become mainstream. There are many people who don't understand how Bitcoin works, because they are accustomed to old and outdated systems. But I'm sure the big day will come...

Yes, that's true. People are afraid of change and require that they are taught about the new changes slowly. Bitcoin will not be adopted as quickly until the community makes an effort to introduce bitcoin to the public in a more aggressive manner. Like brokering deals with large companies like Amazon.
I believe we are already making an effort and that our way to make bitcoin more popular and to tell people that bitcoin is existing, however due to some circumstances about trust issue, some big businesses does not feel comfortable of using this unregulated currency, they are just playing safe.

I don't know anything about replacing it but I'm sure more people will come to know bitcoin and use it but never can bitcoin actually replace dollar because 90% of world's wealth depends on dollar.

Very unlikely since the dollar still has a larger backing and most of the people in this planet use the said currency even for their domestic transactions and such. Also, the world is not yet ready for a global overhaul of the currency system and fiat would still remain the dominant currency over other currencies available to the market and global economy.
yes as USD is one of the most stable currency of the world therefore i think it is not such an easy job that bitcoin will replace USD but hope that in future when all  the people of the world will start using bitcoin, then it can be possible but i think it can take decades.

People need fiat currency at the moment for their daily operations, pay the rent, groceries and activities. With can not pay with bitcoin everything so far, but probably in a near future is could be an option.

In the future, crytocurrency will increase in acceptance and more and more people will use it as simple as using a debit card

You can already use a Bitcoin payment card, which is essentially the same debit card you referred to. You pay with bitcoins for all the things you just enumerated in absolutely the same way as you would pay for them with you typical debit card. This option has been available for over a year now, and I'm really fascinated how people who are playing with Bitcoin could be still unaware about this opportunity of using bitcoins for their daily activities...

Whether it is worth spending bitcoins in this manner is another question, though

You are right with it, we may think that it is really impossible to replace dollar by bitcoin and many thinks bitcoin is still too young.

But with the worlds economy I don't think this will be easy for bitcoin to replace a very old currency that has being dependent to its subordinates.

And many are supporting dollar so this will be hard for bitcoin to make it happen.

I totally agree some people really think that bitcoin will replace dollar. for me, it's not possible since USD.. bitcoin price relies on dollars and without it bitcoin will lose it's value.

Coinbase CEO believes bitcoin will replace dollar within 15 years.

Read the following news:
http://cointelegraph.com/news/114983/coinbase-ceo-bitcoin-will-replace-dollar-within-15-years

Do you think it will be true? Are you positive towards bitcoin's future status?
For me bitcoin will never replace dollar or any other currency since cryptocurrency and currency have specific value, example; When you go outside you can easily buy any items or foods in many stores by using money or others words "currency" but if you used bitcoin or others words "cryptocurrency" you cannot easily buy items or foods outside since not all stores are accepting "cryptocurrency" but if you exchange your "cryptocurrency" to fiat money then you can buy foods or items that you like.

Yet not a single step in order to replace the dollar Bitcoin. The government does not determine the status of Bitcoin. Therefore, Bitcoin is not used by many large companies in their activities. Bitcoin uses little people. That is why Bitcoin will not be able to replace the dollar in the near future

Bitcoin has nothing to replace any currency, even with big support and huge potencial aroubd bitcoin, it wont replace anything, bitcoin is just an extra source of income, another payment processor and a new currencie, soo if you believe bitcoin will be able to replace anything you are wrong.

It won't change any currency but it can be a good substitute and alternative currency to dollar. We may not experience total adoption of bitcoin, but as long as there are already a lot of users and consumers of bitcoin that can make it already a good currency. And it is hard to believe that bitcoin will really replace dollar in the scene.

I agree. Bitcoin's price is linked to dollar's value. So it is impossible that bitcoin can replace dollar. Another thing, many other currencies are also dependent with dollar making it a powerful currency among others. So i think dollar is powerful enough to be replaced by bitcoin. But bitcoin as i can observe is doing good and going up to a higher level. Maybe in time it could be a standard currency that will be used by all.

So I Don't think it will Happen........

Instead of bitcoin replacing the dollar, it can just be an alternative to it. The dollar has established itself as the universal currency, so to speak. If for some reason people find that the dollar loses much of its value, I am sure people are going to search for alternatives, much like what the Chinese are doing because of the devaluation happening with the yuan currency.

That's should a person should think, it has to be realistic because we can never replace dollar with our bitcoin. We are beating the big country to make that happen and we do not have that kind of power while the government has the power to ban bitcoins.

The bitcoin is not controlled by the dollar. It is just priced in the US dollar also many other currencies. But it will be more popular.
day by day  bitcoin become popular and for sure it would  be well developed and many countries  would adopt it in the near future which is a really big advantage to us  bitcoin holders.

All those things happened because many of them went wrong in the response to the emergence of the bitcoin, so that the decisions that they take comes from something that actually does the right thing to do. Indeed many of them have a view that bitcoin will not secure and will only provide the level of crime (corruption) more and more. But it's all too dependent on them in delivering or innovate to make bitcoin better again.

Bitcoin does not rely on dollars or any other fiat. Bitcoin value is from our trust to its system. And we measure that value with dollar. Even without usd, bitcoin will still stand and survived. In fact, it may even get more valuable.

yes that is a fact that in present time USD is really one of the most popular fiat currency of the world and most of the countries economy is also depending on dollar but in fact bitcoin is going popular as now the new generation is interested in online business and shopping therefore the use of bitcoin is increasing day by day,  hope that a time will come when all the people of the world will start using bitcoin ans bitcoin will become the world number one crypto currency.

There is absolutely no doubt about it. If casual things start being priced in bitcoins directly and Bitcoin itself gets finally used mostly as a currency (as a means of payment, before all) and not as a vehicle for speculation as of now, that would mark the universal acceptance and wide adoption of Bitcoin by the general public...

And likely the beginning of a new, Bitcoin era and probably the end of the fiat era
