i think it is not possible so soon, but in future may be when people of all over the world start using bitcoin then it can really replace Dollar,
Well, you're right. for a while it will not happen, but we do not know what will happen in the future. because at this point I think that bitcoin is better than the dollar, but not everyone is aware of it. so when everyone is aware of it, and bitcoin price increases, it could happen. but, it may take a very long time |

No way, It can never happen. Bitcoin is just an alternative mode of payment, It can never replace dollars. The obvious thing in this is, all of our money that we use in daily life have physical forms and bitcoin doesn't have it.
yeah for now bitcoin indeed a payment method options or option of fiat alone, but how when all the outside than we think, the bitcoin exploded in a sense, an epidemic of bitcoin spread to all people and all people using bitcoin, is it possible bitcoin could replace fiat? |

Well, you're right. for a while it will not happen, but we do not know what will happen in the future. because at this point I think that bitcoin is better than the dollar, but not everyone is aware of it. so when everyone is aware of it, and bitcoin price increases, it could happen. but, it may take a very long time Fiat loses its value slowly because they keep printing while the value of bitcoin is increasing because its slowly getting popular and it has limited supply so I think bitcoin is better than fiat if we look at it that way. But fiat is still be the one that people will be using because this is what we are used to and it would be hard to shift to something new that's been existing for a decade only. Besides, it would be hard to convince people to use a new technology when many people are still living without technology so how can we convince them to use something that is new when they don't even have the basic of it like electricity perhaps to operate it. We don't know what the future will be but bitcoin replacing the dollar is unlikely. It may happen but not sooner. It may take a very long time or never at all. |

That is surely right for now because we can see that there are not a lot of places in the world where bitcoin is being used in physical world but it is being used digitally most of the places, so for reaching the time where we can compare it to dollar which is used all over the world, there is still a lot of time to go. |

That is surely right for now because we can see that there are not a lot of places in the world where bitcoin is being used in physical world but it is being used digitally most of the places, so for reaching the time where we can compare it to dollar which is used all over the world, there is still a lot of time to go. But still we cant foretell what would happen. There might be events that would really make a big change in the financial industry. We could just say our opinions now base on what is happening but for the future it is unknown |

Yeah perhaps not in our lifetime but it has the potential to make it that far though. |

Put it this way: gold is vastly superior to Bitcoin at his point and it has not replaced the USD. In fact, the dollar replaced gold in this country. And whatever reason you attribute that to, inherent superiority or government mandate, expect that to be the same reason that Bitcoin will not be replacing the USD.

Just think about 15 years ago there wasn't even normal internet, we connect through dial-ups for 56k. 15 years is a very long time considering how fast technology changes. Bitcoin is the new form of money so it might not replace but it become a very good alternative to dollar by masses soon.
There is no way to believe bitcoin could replace a giant fiat currency dollar. But I could agree with your opinion about bitcoin possible to be a good alternative for dollar. I never think that the Bitcoin is going to take over the Dollar because the Dollar is first of all way more powerful and Bitcoin could never handle that many people like the Dollar does. Bitcoin needs allot more time before it can be able to do something like that. |

Even if it gets the popularity which dollar has it would still not be able to replace dollar as it has a limited amount in total and dollars are way more than how many bitcoins exist, so how come bitcoin can fill that gape in the whole world? So basically that is not possible unless bitcoin can be increased in quantity somehow. |

No that is not possible for me becasuse if dollar will be still their since money is living for a long time and we can not change that even bitcoin is popular and bitcoin is accepted locally.. bitcoin is always good for alternative but its impossible that it can be replace we are using bitcoin because for some people they want to gamble without giving identity if its happen that dollar replace by bitcoin expect for tax fee as additional and restriction to identify your identity so gambling will close because some countries are restricted about gambling like here in my country. |

I do not think it will happen the Dollar is still way to big for the bitcoin and another fact is that the bitcoin is still not popular enough.. The bitcoin is used a lot but still not enough and its also depending on the Dollar right now. |
