I'm sure not. Bitcoin not be able to replace dollar, because dollar stronger and owned by many people in the world.

Yeah I am agree with that time  dollar is very strong and other currency can not compete with dollar in that time, but I seen in few year the users of bitcoin is very increased in daily and I hope the bitcoin user will be more increased and all over the world bitcoin will be used therefore bitcoin will be replace dollar soon.

Oh I think this is not realistic. Dollar is not something new which can be replaced by a digital asset. No matter how valuable this digital asset is.

If bitcoin has set itself the goal to compete with the dollar, you will need to be based on the postwar experience and in the same way as the dollar to conquer the world. Modern conditions can accelerate this process, but I do not see such actions on the part of bitcoin.

Totally agree with you. Bitcoin can not replace the dollar under any circumstances. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency. Nobody will support it like a dollar. And without government support, bitcoin will never replace the dollar

Clearly the government will not support bitcoins to an extent of making it the official local currency of their country but some government are actually bitcoin friendly. In Japan and in the Philippines, bitcoin can be used to pay for your bills legally. No questions asked.

The government support of bitcoin will surely help for the mass adoption. On the other hand, even without the government, bitcoin can still prevail. Fiat currency can die on its own and bitcoin can replace it. To save yourself from the never ending inflation of fiat, you would switch to using bitcoins.

Even the price of bitcoin is very high I dont think bitcoin replace dollar. Because we dont know when the bitcoin die or how many years bitcoin will live in bitcoin world. Dollars live hundreds  years for sure so dollars cannot replace . Bitcoin will live decades I think base on my observation and prediction. But i hope bitcoin will live long . Bitcoin and dollars is both good investment.

Compared to most national curencies, especially in undeveloped countries, USD is a good investment indeed, but it is so only if you for some reasons can't invest in bitcoin. Looking at btc/usd charts we can't deny that bitcoin is much better investment and in terms of investment bitcoin is replacing dollar already.

Yeah man, but I think it's not enough to base on chart. Because if our basis is the selling price of bitcoin yearly yeah it was higher than Dollar, but how about the statistics? Is the charts discussed how many billion people used BTC compared to Dollar?

How's that matter? If most people are doing the wrong thing ignoring bitcoin and investing in USD instead of BTC, should other people do the same? No. If they know bitcoin is better investment they invest in bitcoin. And for those people bitcoin has already replaced dollar.

I dont think so bitcoin is just in the internet,, internet money like.. dollar is hard money that can use every time,,, it is a cash you know not like bitcoin that need a transaction to send some money. and also dollar is more popular than bitcoin many people doesn't know about bitcoin so that it can't replace the dollar.

Yes bitcoin for internet but you have to know that in any place where international business exist internet also exist and like dollar we can also use bitcoin at any place and the transactions of bitcoin is also very convenient like dollar or we will say that bitcoin transactions are more convenient than dollar.

There is no doubt that the transaction of the bitcoin is easy but we can’t deny the fact that the bitcoin is not as easily acceptable anywhere as the dollar is. Though hardly wish it to be, but cannot say it really would. No government will ever get it's currency replaced by something which it will have no control over. There will be a mass use of Bitcoins all over the globe but the governments will try every means to control it.

Yes you are right that bitcoin will replace dollar but not soon it will take more time for Bitcoin to replace the dollar because the dollar is an international currency and everyone know about it all over the world while Bitcoin is a digital currency and less number of people know about Bitcoin if the Bitcoin popularity becomes equal to dollar then it is possible that Bitcoin replace dollar and also if the people concentrate towards the digital currencies then they will adopt Bitcoin.

But the value of fiat is keep decrease, thats why fiat is no more appropriate for the future. Probably not soon but I think it will happen. Bitcoin can help us in our heavy rotation because it is fast and secure enough.

Soon is not the right word, because although it can, it will take dozens, or even hundreds of years. If bitcoin can survive that long, maybe bitcoin will exceed the dollar, or even exceed it. But as you say, but not 100%

Yeah we don’t know whether the bitcoin is going to survive that long or not. If we look at the history of the dollar it is surviving for centuries and is still a very much stable currency. I don’t think the bitcoin can compete ever with the dollar. The bitcoin in this regard has a specific role to play.

As stated bitcoin has got limited supply, but USD is not like that which is always based on the economy backing of the country. I too have the thinking that bitcoin is always for bad things, but in reality bitcoin at the early days was used for illegal activities and now by its potential has got adopted as a investment.

By nature BTC is volatile and that will make the BTC holder even richer cause they will have big opportunity to multiply their investment. But as I mentioned before, USD or GBP will be far ahead. And By no means it will be replacing any Fiat currency, no matter what country it is from having a decentralize currency as their main currency could give them into a bad position in terms of country development can you imagine that your money is only limited to 21,000,000 it wouldn't be acceptable as a country needs to have a new circulation periodically.
