I recently sold around 50% of my stack during the last pump to ~$480. bought back in at the low $300s and waiting.  Smiley

The last price increased the profit of the most of bitcoin's users and that's encouraging to hold some coins
It's expected that the price will increase mainly after the next halving

This is probably the best thing to do and is an easy way or making a bit of money on yur coins in the short term. I don't like leaving my coins on exchanges for long periods of time though but you need to if you want to try get in some lucky buy orders and then wait to sell them at a nice profit.

Holding the bitcoins nowadays is the best investment, the price will increase especially after the next halving

I'm really just holding onto my coins as a fun investment. I don't have anything I would ever need to buy that I find Bitcoin to be more useful for. Plus the thought of buying something for half a bitcoin and then 10 years down the road realizing I lost out on all the gains would drive me nuts.

$500 should be reached easily with the coming halving. Furthermore there is so much other stuff coming in the new year which could help to boost the price. 2016 will be a very interesting year.

I can say that i am holding for a price increase because failed to sell at higher price.
Another fact is that if i receive a good offer i would sell immediately.
But for the moment only collecting as the bitcoin price has been decreased too much this month.

No accurate answer for that but if you will look of how bitcoin today go for a mainstream its surely a good idea if you btc today.

Today as I posting this, btc price is in range of 318. Many want a less decrease more by that price a weeks ago now and still fail so still they are not buying. Dont regret if you buy at 318 then suddenly price become 300. Still in the future it can make up above your buying rate so still you have profit. Look at those below 300 believers they are just stuck up and no profit came because of waiting. Id able to buy at 394 then sell it 340 a weeks ago then days ago I buy again at 314 then still waiting for my exit.

With btc tendency to fluctuate, there will be no guarantee whether it is a good or bad idea to invest on 2016, but if you have extra money, I think buying it RIGHT NOW seems a good enough idea. You could always sit and wait for another increases, I believe there will be another spark sometime soon, and even if there isn't any, your btc will still increases (hopefully) in 5 to 10 years

That is the best way to make quick profits, even I invest my money in bitcoins when the price is comparatively low and sell it even at the small fluctuations and make some profit out of it, atleast it takes cares of my basic expenses and rebuy when the price goes down and that is the best strategy to follow.

I am in a way holding but also selling at same time. I have sold coins that I had bought a lot cheaper and made profit on and with the profit and coin am trading along the averages to make future coin. Holding is ok to some degree and have a stash for that reason I do not touch and will one day access based on much bigger prices for the future.

If you believe in the philosophy of life is short, you will spend some bitcoins for fun now itself. I believe in bitcoin so I never spend any satoshi now itself. I just hold them for bigger price raise. Holding big amounts of bitcoin also will lengthen my life.

I have two distinct groups for my bitcoins. I have a generally 1-2 coins that are spendable and used on transactions or purchases need be. Then, I have a another larger portion of coins that won't be touch or just held as an investment. I'm looking to further expand on the latter. The former is important but I don't regard myself as an active contributor among the spending community as others. Once there is a broader expansion of markets and stores that accept bitcoin, I'm willing to participate more actively.
