Roma manager Jose Mourinho seems to be after Paulo Dybala and Jesse Lingard both who are free agents at the moment. Rather than Lingard I wonder if they will be able to convince Dybala to play for themselves. Actually Dybala can really choose them over a team that are competing in a different league. He is used to playing here for so many years and he might be likely to stay in Italy still. Roma would be much stronger if they add him to the lineup. He wouldn't have any problem with playing time also.

Lingard will be a good a player in Jose Mourinho team but having Dybala with the experience in Italy already, he will do more better and don't need to adapt anymore to the league.
If I should suggest here between them both then they As Roma should make complete move and push for Paulo Dybala.
An improvement in his salary would be vital knowing he will give he's all for the team. Jose Mourinho has full focus on the League having won the Europa league then it's confirm verification for the Champions League football next season right ?

Yes they must be targeting to qualify for the Champions League this season. They had better be doing so otherwise Mourinho's coming to the team would have no meaning left. Roma have been improving themselves since he came here. Maybe they didn't have their best season but they at least managed to finish the season at an upper position in the standings. Now the goal must be entering top 4. They can do this by a solid system and the right transfers.

Roma are looking for ways to strengthen the squad now. Adding especially Dybala to the team would be awesome for them. The number of strikers in the team is going to go up to four then but Dybala can get more chances here compared to Juventus surely. Roma preferred a formation with two strikers too last season so maybe they would think of Dybala with Tammy Abraham in the starting eleven side by side. Roma need this kind of signings to be more successful in the Serie A.

Dybala is a good asset for Roma this season, but I think it just depends on the player's fitness. Dybala is more prone to fitness issues and that kept him from performing at his best last season. Now Mourinho is the coach who will handle it, hopefully different and good for Dybala.
As a second striker I feel Dybala can contribute to Roma this season. He is a great player but unfortunately he is not really capable of being a big star in the Juventus squad. His unique celebrations are something to behold in Roma this season.

He was one of the most important players in Juventus for few seasons before Ronaldo joined the club, injuries also one of the problem why Dybala was not really consistent in the last few years. Basically it is a big lose for Juventus to let him go as he is still in his best age as football player. Frankly speaking I was hoping that he will stay in Juventus till the end of his career or at least become a legend like Del Piero10 or Nedved but seems the there was no good deal for both parties at the end of Dybala contract.

Juventus should have kept Dybala in the squad. Dybala's performance last season was good. More importantly, Dybala is only 28 years old. And he could continue to perform well in the Juventus team for a long time. Juventus have signed Di Maria as Dybala's replacement. Di Maria is an experienced player. But he probably won't continue to perform well with Juventus for more than 2 seasons. His fitness is not very good. He often gets injured.

I think Juventus made a big mistake by not getting along with Dybala. They had to get him into the team. They failed to do so and replaced Dybala with the older Di Maria. Dybala still played very well at Juventus. I think these players should be evaluated better.

Italy really had a very competitive league like epl last season, the league was so competitive that till the last day no one was sure of who will lift the title, go to champions league and europa league.
I just wish this same thing could happen this season. It is good to see a season that is not a one club show light ligue 1 and psg.

It's true that since AC Milan won the Scudetto last season it looks like there will be even more exciting competition next season in the title race. Maybe As roma is a team that has the instinct to win next season. Juventus and Inter are also strong candidates when viewed from the players who were brought in this summer. but I think that Juventus will be stronger after they get Pogba back and also they officially get Di Maria. but one thing might be their weakness on the defensive side because the departure of de ligt to bayern munich will be something that massimiliano allegri has to pay attention to.

I was really surprised to see that Dybala has signed in For AC Roma  . I was strongly convicted that he would have join in FC Inter or FC Napoli. Roma will be strongly competitive this season, I looking forward to see what

Roma is going to get Dybala. Only a matter of medical record and Dybala is on his flight to Portugal for final step to sign a contract with Roma. Usually there is no big issue in medical record and very likely Roma will sign with Dybala.

Napoli sold Koulibaly to Chelsea and you are right that they are losing their competitiveness. If Roma play better in a new season, they can beat Napoli out of Serie A's top 4.

Mourinho is smart and he shows it with his career. In this transfer, if Zaniolo actually moves to Juventus and Rome get a big transfer cost, it is another wise deal from Mourinho.

In quality, I don't think Zaniolo and Dybala are too much different. Dybala is even at higher level than Zaniolo and with a plan in a few years, Dybala is good for Roma. No guarantee that Zaniolo can grow more and achieve to super star level. Dybala failed after he got a few injuries and don't forget that Zaniolo has bad record with injuries too. I hope Zaniolo is well because he is future of Azurri.
