When Dortmund failed to win the Bundesliga last season, I don't think it was entirely because they let go of their stars because at that time Jude Bellingham was still with them, it's just that he had an injury that prevented him from playing, so that was one of the reasons for the defeat, and it is also undeniable that the player Bayern Munich are stronger mentally when under pressure, the experience of winning back to back with a couple same squad gives them that advantage.

But I am impressed with Dortmund talent scouts because they are very professional in bringing in talented players so they only need to polish their quality in 1 or 2 seasons until they become star players who are the target of big European clubs.

All the time I read about Dortmund "prefers" to sell players to make money? Where do you guys come up with this idea?
They don't choose to do this, they just don't have another chance.
Star players that get developed in Dortmund almost always want to change the club once the teams with big names and/or big budgets come knocking.

Look at the recent history. Dembele went to Barcelona and forced his way out, BVB wanted to keep him. Haaland got a HUGE offer from Man City, BVB tried to give him a new contract but for obvious reason he left. But at least he fought until the last game and left on a good note.

Sancho went to Manchester, also for the big money, BVB tried to keep him but no chance.

Bellingham, they also tried to keep him but he chose to go to Madrid, also to earn a lot of money.

All these players went to big names in European football. All got paid huge contracts and BVB tried to keep all of them but had no chance in doing so.
So please refrain from posting these untrue ideas. BVB has 4 goals every season, none of them is selling players. They play for the championship, try to qualify for the champions league and want to win the cup. The last one is staying in the campions league as long as possible but knowing it's almost impossible to win it.

Admittedly, Dortmund is always surprising because they competed with Bayern Munich starting almost from the middle of the season, but in the end they were unable to close the season with the Bundesliga trophy.

On the other hand, the factor of players being sold by Dortmund will always be the reason for their failure to win the bundesliga title and it's no wonder they will continue to experience the same thing every season. if you have said about business, this is a very absolute decision and cannot be changed anymore. I know Dortmund will only score young players with good talent and sell them, but at least once in a while they have to give their fans the best.

Good reward u say. Lol. I would take the line " It keeps their business running". It doesn't allow them to be relegated due to Bankruptcy and that's fine by the board.  If you take a look at this situation, there was a time when Arsenal was completely into this.  No affinity for any European competitions, no affinity for top 5 positions, only playing for the love of it and the name " football". But these past two seasons show that Arsenal is getting tired of just playing for fun. The same is Borrusia Dortmund. But these two teams find it very difficult to bounce back to trophy-winning ways cuz they have already lost their confidence and potential. It will take a lot more than a good coach, and players for them to win a trophy cuz already they have that old parasite in them.

Bayern Munich are still not rushing anything about a centre-forward transfer. I haven't seen a big rumour linking any striker to them these days. They are focused on other positions more currently. But they must be aware of the importance of signing a solid striker this summer on one hand. Because there wouldn't be a big change by only keeping Choupo-Moting and having Mane in the position sometimes.

They have seen this clearly by this season. I wonder whether Tuchel has someone in his mind to recommend to the board. If I were in their place I would have prioritized the striker transfer. There are really nice options in the market but acting faster than other top teams would be better.

They tried to extend Bellingham's contract, offered him more money as well. But Madrid pays WAY more money than they can offer. Also Bellingham denied to extend his contract, even only for 1 year. He wanted to go to Real.

So, what's better, getting 100+ million or keeping a player that wants to be somewhere else? They learned from Aubameyang and Dembele, if a guy wants to go by all means it's not worth fighting.

In the last season, Bayern planed to use Mane as a replacement for Lewandowski but after a first few good matches, Mane got injury and never played well for Bayern in rest of season. Then they luckily got Choupo-Moting good performance but it is not enough for them to compete in Champions League. In addition in Bundesliga, they lost control and only won it with slippery performance in the last match from Dortmund as well as excellent strike from Musiala in last minutes of the season.

They are not in rush, maybe because they still believe in Mane come back but who are sure about that and Choupo-Moting might not be able to replace his performance as good as in the past season.

They will repeat their race with Bayern and be like a strongest competitor against Bayern in Bundesliga but they will not be able to win Bundesliga. The cycle is repeating in the last 11 seasons since a transfer of Marco Reus to Dortmund. I wish best for Reus and hopefully he will win one Bundesliga with Dortmund before his retirement.

At this point I don't even think money is the reason they sell players to Bayern Munich. I said so because they sell their players very cheap to Bayern. If any club that's not Bayern Munich goes for a Dortmund player, they will slap a very high price tag on the player, but if it was Bayern, they player will leave for almost nothing.
Just recently Raphaël Guerreiro joined Bayern Munich from Dortmund for free. So how exactly is Dortmund making any money out of that.
Some times I wonder if all the Bundesliga teams play for Bayern Munich, especially Dortmund.

RB Leipzig have completed the signing of Christoph Baumgartner from TSG Hoffenheim.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder has signed a contract with 'Die Roten Bullen' until 2028.

It's good to see that leipzig gets a new attacking midfielder but i don't understand why leipzig keeps adding more and more attacking midfielder. Even romano has been also saying if leipzig was very close to take fabio carvalho as loan from liverpool which make the things become even more complicated.

Liepzig has so many attacking midfileder now. dominik szoboszlai has been rumored to leave from leipzig in summer, but it's not yet clear what clubs that will become his new destination.

Dani olmo has been also extending his contract in leipzig.
