Defending the championship title in the coming season is another thing, and a burden for the future. But Xabi Alonso really created new history for the Bundesliga. He was the first coach in the Bundesliga, previously he only coached Sociedad B. And he broke Bayern Munich's record. Apart from that, Bayer Liverkusen was also the first champion in the Bundesliga with Xabi. Bayern Munich just needs to find a coach who has good qualities and their failure this season is much more due to the coach.

Having players come and go is a normal thing in football because there are many clubs that try to monitor the development of the players that Leverkusen has. Two titles are also good enough for Bayer Leverkusen this season because they have never won 2 titles at once in one season, meaning they have broken their first record, even though they failed to win the UEL title, at least they have achieved far and become runners up behind it all. because of Alonso's success in building a strong club and next season we will see how Alonso will handle his club competing in the UCL, will they make history again by winning their first UCL title?

The regret for today is the failure to keep the unbeaten and terbele winner that was released after they lost an important match against Atalanta that made the record that they had compiled very well must be lost because of 1 defeat.

But the rest for now we certainly know that with what they have shown at this time indeed Leverkusen is doing an extraordinary match because indeed 53 matches with 1 defeat and 52 wins in all competitions is clearly a record that is even difficult to get anyone even though it is a big club but Leverkusen is able to do it without players who can be said to be stars before because Xabi at the beginning of the season did not look for star players but created star players.

I admit that 1 score that Xhaka managed to get was a very beautiful kick from a distance that could be right on target, I was even amazed to see the kick but I was just a little disappointed if the good opportunity when Xhaka got the ball in front of the goal failed to score even though it was very easy to score and for me 1 score is a very unsafe score.
but fortunately after Odilon received a red card and had to leave the field, Leverkusen performance did not decline and actually got stronger.

The goal was definitely great, and the season is over for Leverkusen. Aside from that ugly loss at Europa, they finished the season 52-1 record which is insane when you think about it. If it was like 48-5 while still winning that two cups, people would have been happier, but because it is 52-1 that means people are looking at that just one result and thinking how unlucky, but the reality is that they did the double and it was a great season.

I think it's quite obvious that we are talking about people who are not really approaching any decent level, there isn't really anything we can consider as bad, this has been quite a good result without a doubt and they should be happy with the season they had, I believe it was amazing.

They should definitely see some of them first team players leaving the club on transfer. The name Jeremy Frimpong has been mentioned notnone not twice as he has been linked with a move to join Manchester United just If Aaron Wan Bisakka leaves the club during the transfer window.

Also, we all saw how porous they was against Atalanta during that finals, I mean the defense, they will be needing some additional players for depth and also upgrades and they will be involved in the Champions League Competition next season. Better depths to with a the test ahead of the new season would be appealing to the management.

About Florian Wirtz, we will see the speculations that will arise during the upcoming Euro's, that will determine if he stays or leaves the club completely and Real Madrid have been top guns chasing him. I will love to see such a top quality midfielder'play with Kylian Mbappe anyways.

It was surprising to us all how Leverkusen ended up losing to Atlanta because with the way they have performed throughout the entire season no one expected them to lose to Atlanta. They could only score 1 goal in this match, but the 1 goal they scored was enough for them to become champions. It was Xabi Alonso's last assignment of the season and he managed to bring home the title again after the Bundesliga, unfortunately he failed in the Europa League.

That would be a big shock for the team, the players and Alonso himself. It can cause a big drop in their mentality, because having a high hope and expectation to fail is something that can bring down the entire mood. It can has a possibility to affect their performances badly next season. Putting all the efforts to fail in the very end is not a joke for anyone.

I'm glad they won the cup after they won the league without a defeat. This achievement has broken the dominance of Bayern Munich, I hope it will make Bundesliga more attractive for football fans without a boring dominance of one club. It would be more attractive for Bundesliga if Dortmund win the Champions League trophy. It will repeat a history in 1997 when two teams of Bundesliga won two european trophies.

Kaiserslautern were definitely living the dream this season, they scale pass through some of the Bundesliga clubs and winning the cup would have been an icing on the cake for them and one of the stories of the season. But a win will have seem to shatter all what Xabi Alonso had worked for throughout the season. Personally I feel like they seems just too relax in the too finals and were over themselves, this was probably because of the league triumph celebrations which Is why it is better not to do  too much of the celebration after winning a title and the entire season isn’t just over.

Leverkusen still showed their prowess in Germany unbeaten this season, although they failed to win the treble winner but they were able to dominate the domestic league this season by winning two championship trophies undefeated, Leverkusen journey this season in the domestic league is indeed quite spectacular but it is different in the Europa League which actually had to get the first defeat of the season from Atlanta,  The DFB Pokal victory was certainly a great achievement for Alonso and this season they managed to end the season with two prestigious trophies in Germany, final match is the last game Leverkusen have played in the season and I think they will take a break from a long season to prepare their squad for next season.

The DFB final match was their last game of the season, but the most interesting thing in my opinion in the final match, was Xhaka beautiful shot from distance that was able to bring victory for Leverkusen in the final match, Xhaka goal in the 16th minute was the only goal created in the game and it seems that what is said by many people today seems to be true,  If players who quit Arsenal finally managed to win their titles at other clubs during this time.

The greatest team this season is of course Leverkusen because they were the only ones who managed to maintain their pace from the start of the season until they managed to become champions without being defeated. It's truly extraordinary what Xabi Alonso did with Leverkusen because he was able to change the style of play for the better and also with an ordinary squad he managed to lead Leverkusen to become champions in the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal. Of course, they will use long break for tour or charity matches with other teams. Next season we will see Leverkusen progress in the Champions League, of course Xabi Alonso must be able to organize the team strength to be stronger for next season. The defeat was very painful because Bayer Leverkusen has made up their mind to win all the trophies they are involved in this season and the manager Alonso did underrate Atalanta based on their League performance and their current standard forgetting that they kicked their main rivals Liverpool out of the Europa League to ease the pressure for them despite knowing that Liverpool is very good compare to Atalanta; and Alonso forgot that Atalanta is a team with record over them and they like keeping records just as they maintain their winning streak against Liver pol at Anfield.

But the rest for now we certainly know that with what they have shown at this time indeed Leverkusen is doing an extraordinary match because indeed 53 matches with 1 defeat and 52 wins in all competitions is clearly a record that is even difficult to get anyone even though it is a big club but Leverkusen is able to do it without players who can be said to be stars before because Xabi at the beginning of the season did not look for star players but created star players.

With the outstanding results this season, not only has the view of Leverkusen changed but for now the value of some players has soared tremendously and it is all thanks to Xabi's foresight in building the squad and maintaining the club's performance.
