Imagine if Bayer had won the whole season and ended it with two defeats in the finals. It would be a very strange feeling  
But if Kaiserslautern had won, that would also have been a miracle - after all, they are only the 13th team in the second Bundesliga. This team also surprised everyone and I hope to continue to progress. Overall, I am very pleased that Bayer won and did the golden double (without a single defeat in Germany during the season).

Kaiserslautern were definitely living the dream this season, they scale pass through some of the Bundesliga clubs and winning the cup would have been an icing on the cake for them and one of the stories of the season. But a win will have seem to shatter all what Xabi Alonso had worked for throughout the season. Personally I feel like they seems just too relax in the too finals and were over themselves, this was probably because of the league triumph celebrations which Is why it is better not to do  too much of the celebration after winning a title and the entire season isn’t just over.

Yes that's right. I also have a lot of respect for Kaiserslautern and its fans. They have fought until the final which is a matter of pride and they have also tried their best in the final but still lost because Leverkusen is a strong team. But I hope to see Kaiserslautern in the Bundesliga in the next few years.

For Leverkusen, the defeat in the Europa final against Atalanta was indeed sad, and was a very bitter defeat because they were defeated at the wrong time. but winning 2 domestic cups with 0 defeats in the bundesliga is still an extraordinary statistic and performance. Looking at it as a whole, this season, Fortuna Düsseldorf is much stronger than Bochum, especially since their motivation is only one step away from being promoted to the Bundesliga, so I think this is only natural.

Losing 3 goals in the first leg is a number of goals that will be difficult for Bochum to catch, yes, it looks like they will fail to survive in the Bundesliga next season. Bundesliga has send 8 teams to playing at European Competitions this season and they have 5 representatives to play in the Champion League and 2 teams to playing at Europa League and Heidenheim was benefited of the result between Leverkusen vs Kaiserslautern because after Leverkusen is being an the winner of this match then automatically Heidenheim will playing at UEFA Conference League however i think as promotion team of last season Heidenheim achievement is very fantastic this season because they can finish at 8th place and they will playing at UEFA Conference League and if i am not mistaken this is Heidenheim first experience to playing at European competitions

Besides Heidenheim i think Hoffenheim progress under Pellegrino Matarazzo also very impressive because within a season Pellegrino Matarazzo can improved Hoffenheim final position on League Table which Hoffenheim current position is much better compared to last season and finish at 7th place and after absense 3 years finally Hoffenheim can return to Europa League again

True, it would be very strange if Leverkusen had to accept 2 consecutive defeats and both were final matches, that would be completely unacceptable, I mean they performed well all season and even without defeats, and at the end they had to accept consecutive defeats? and that's from a team in Bundesliga 2? Their only disappointment this season was not being able to win the treble because they lost to Atalanta in the final match. But again I say that is something they should not regret because what they have shown this season has been extraordinary. Yes, even though their record was broken due to defeat, they are still the team that has held the record the longest without losing.
Everything is unpredictable, and that happened in the final match. But before that they showed something that led to defeat, we can see in their last few matches, they almost lost, but they were able to score a goal in the last minute of the match and that saved them in that match. There is no doubt, Leverkusen had a perfect season, they are the only team to have such record this season, they only lose the Europa League but they won the remaining two trophies undefeated.

Playing at the opponent's home ground didn't make Dusseldorf panic, they actually enjoyed it when they visited Bochum's home ground, even though this match really determines where the two teams will play next season, but seeing that in the first match Bochum conceded 3-0 without replying to their guest Dusseldorf, now Dusseldorf can be a little sighed for the second match which will be played at home.

I'm not really sure that next season Xabi Alonso can repeat the achievements they got this season because the habits of a team like this will make it much more difficult to maintain performance like the previous season. It is different from top teams like Bayern Munich because they have much better quality players even though this season they have experienced big failures in all competitions. Bayern Munich just needs to find a coach who has good qualities and their failure this season is much more due to the coach.

Having players come and go is a normal thing in football because there are many clubs that try to monitor the development of the players that Leverkusen has. Xabi Alonso will find it much more difficult to maintain consistency in the best form of play for his team next season because I am sure there are other teams who will try to make changes.

There are some players who can't do anything good for the club and the clubs sell those players and the players who can make an impact for the club are signed by the different clubs. Xabi Alonso has certainly been successful this season and he has been successful with his team's performance even though they have had a few mistakes in one match and they have performed well everywhere in the Europa League or local leagues. If Xabi Alonso wants and if the management agrees, then a new player can be added to this club because they need to strengthen this team if they play in the Champions League next season.

Bochum had to play these matches because of the goal difference. Union Berlin might have had to play these games instead. It looks like a tragic farewell to the Bundesliga. They had a very bad result in the first match. They conceded 3 goals and didn't score any. For me it would be a miracle if they score 4 goals in this match. There are such miracles in football. But Fortuna Düsseldorf showed in the first match that they are a better team than Bochum. I have no clear idea about the outcome of this match. I won't bet on it, but I think Fortuna Düsseldorf are in the Bundesliga.

Despite losing their UEFA Europa League final game against Atalanta, Bayer Leverkusen's campaign this season is nothing short of extraordinary because I don't think anyone would've have predicted that they'll get everything they got this season at the start of the season. Winning the German Bundesliga ahead of a big team like Bayern Munich isn't an easy task if you ask me so I think Bayer Leverkusen deserves all the accolades they're currently getting and even more. They didn't stop at winning the league but also won the DFB-Pokal to add to their league title. Xabi Alonso's men also broke and set a new record of the most unbeaten run in Europe and qualifed to play in the UEFA Europa League final which they surprisingly lost to Italian side Atalanta.
Leverkusen now have a bigger season ahead of them because they'll be defending the German Bundesliga as well as playing in the UEFA Champions League competition come next season and I think they'll definitely do well in both competitions

I will not be surprised by the results that Hoffenheim has obtained this season because this is not the first time and this team has also been one of the popular teams in the past that has managed to finish in the best position to get tickets to compete in other competitions such as the European league or European conference league.
but for Heidenheim what surprised me at first was that I didn't realize that this mediocre team had succeeded in getting a European conference league ticket and I think this was lucky for Heidenheim who took advantage of a good opportunity when this season there was no longer any big competition after Bayern Munich dominance had been destroyed by Leverkusen.
this season is very different from previous seasons because there are a lot of changes and this is the first season that I think looks like a surprise for some of the weak teams in the past and this season has had very good results.

in the next season Heidenheim will probably try to show its best performance in the European conference league and Hoffenheim will also try to struggle in the European league but to be honest I doubt Heidenheim in the next season will also fail again.
doesn't mean I'm underestimating but let's see what will happen if what I have said comes true but what is certain is that I believe Heidenheim will have problems arranging the match schedule.

Today Dusseldorf is hosting the match, they have more chances to win because they are quite strong, they finished in 3rd place in Bundesliga 2. I believe they will do anything possible to get promoted to the Bundesliga next season. Bochum should give it a try next season, they may have their chance back to the legend because they have already failed from the first leg.

Bayer Leverkusen CEO Carro stated that every year they need to sell one big player to find a budget for the new signing. I hope this selling of players does not affect their performance next season because this is the same thing that Dortmund has been doing for many years and they failed to win the Bundesliga title. They sell one big player and buy the average players who cannot perform more than the players they sold. Bayer Leverkusen needs their current players next season to compete with the top clubs from other leagues, I do not see any of their current players performing poorly, If they can't add more players to their squad, I don't think it is right to sell any of their big players because we want history to repeat itself next season.

Xabi Alonso doesn't even needs too many transfer by next season, a few transfer if necessary is all he will need because the build up of hi team is still very sound enough thst if they stay consistent with some form of improve, they are definitely going too end next season with another trophy, some how it may look luck for them that Bayern Munich may experience some instability for a while if tuchel leaves and that will be some form of advantage for them.

Leverkusen doesn't needs so much adjustments in their form and strategies of which I'm sure Xabi is aware and may not want to aswell tamper so much with what he has on ground, rather a strategy to make up for injuries and other reason that could cause a player to be absent should be made, probably seeing how well he can strengthen his reserve team just like Madrid does have so their strength will be such that they are most definitely not going to have reason to be scared even if they have a key player who's injured, one thing about the Xabi squad is their abilities of not depending on any player in particular which is definitely helping them a whole lot.

He can further extend this non dependency to his reserve squad so in cases where a switch will be required it wouldn't be challenging as the blend will be perfect and they will always maintain a perfect rhythm at all times, this will also contribute to their strength a d their chances of daring to repeat the same performance they had this season by next season even in a better way probably this time it will be challenging but it's still achievable.

Next season is a very important season for them, because I think there are so many people waiting for them next season. There are many people who want to see what they can do next season, especially in the Champions League. People's expectations of them are getting bigger and bigger, and they have to answer all these expectations with good performance and be able to compete in the highest competitions in Europe.

It would be a shame if we see something again what happend to Union Berlin this season , that they will be the total opposite next season.
But i guess that this will be not the case in Leverkusen , fingers crossed.
I think that they show us some nice good performance again next season.
But the most focus of all the players are next is the coming EM for those that playing it.

There are several clubs that we can see where they failed in their second season after they had a very good season, but in my opinion this is different for Leverkusen, because they have good chemistry, and we can see from the composition of players that it is actually not that luxurious, in fact Players who were dim can actually return to their best performance, so that can also be an asset for them in the following season.

Moreover, Xabi will also remain with them, Xabi should now understand the character of the players he has much better. If he can understand this very well, then he will be able to maximize the player's potential. He also has the opportunity to add several players who can help them next season. This case now is simple as saying winning the trophy is easy but defending it is as hard as a nothing he has ever known before because almost the team must have studied and understood the way he plays and they would have to put twice as much efforts as they do want to maintain their position and definitely all teams wouldn't like to be beaten twice for Bayern Leverkusen to make a record on their name so all team in the bundesLiga would be out for them and what they have to offer.
