It was one game away from a perfect campaign of a season. The loss in the Europa League final may hurt their heart, but they deserve to be proud of their achievement in Bundesliga with an unbeaten record. This is the first time a team in Bundesliga, even Bayern have never done that despite their dominance throughout history of Bundesliga.

Despite having a perfect season, Leverkusen still need to improve their squad to face next season. They will enter next season campaign with a big anticipation from their competitors and other teams. They will be a team to beat, because it will be a prestige by other teams to beat an unbeaten team. Leverkusen just should prepare a more diffifult campaign next season. 

Defeat in the Europa League only made them fail to extend their unbeaten record in all competitions, but not in the domestic league which even now Leverkusen has not been beaten at all, in addition to successfully extending the unbeaten record in the German domestic league, now Leverkusen is of course quite happy with the achievement of two trophies that have been impossible for them to get before Alonso came,  Alonso ability to bring many changes to Leverkusen has certainly changed the club history for the better in the future, for Leverkusen of course this season will be a phenomenal season and maybe even they will continue to see the 2023/24 season as their glory season in the club history.

We are talking about a very dangerous thing for a club at that size, they are not the richest club in the world and that means we are talking about something that will take a while for them to get richer, which is why I think it is going to be something that will mean it will take a while.

I think Leverkusen will try to take advantage of the situation and I think they will sell many of their players. What does playoffs mean? Will they end up in the qualifying round of the Conference League rather than in the group stage? To be honest, I was never interested in this tournament and I don’t know what the rules are. Either way it is a great achievement for the club and if they play any big club there (like Chelsea which ended up in the Conference League after United won the cup) it will be a historic milestone for the club and the fans.

To be honest, even I do not follow the conference league closely. I have always thought about it as the one European competition where those teams go which are not good enough to perform in the Champions League or the Europa League. And of course, most of the people are interested about the Champions League and also the Europa League. Not so much about the conference league.

But I have to say that for a team that just got promoted, they have definitely done really well to actually finish where they did. And also be able to take part in European competitions, doesn’t matter how small it is. For a team that just got promoted, even the conference league is definitely a great achievement. It was a great improvement from them and I hope that they will be able to continue this improvement. Hope to see them perform well in the next season also.

I completely agree Leverkusen success this season under Xabi leadership has been truly impressive. While it is natural for fans to have their own expectations sometimes going against grain can lead to even greater improvements. Defending their title won't be easy especially with powerhouses like Bayern Munich and other strong contenders. However with Xabi at helm and addition of more talented players I believe Leverkusen has the potential to rise to the challenge and continue their upward trajectory. Xabi guidance and the team determination will be key to their success in the next season.

Bayern Leverkusen after finishing this season should be aware that a greater challenge awaits them in the next season. They are lucky Xabi Alonso decided to stay back with them for more season, it would have destroy the whole clubs formation and their formidable nature through from the time it was built till now. A bigger challenge awaits them, so I expect both the manager, the players to be extra prepared for it. With Xabi Alonso still in the team, they can bring in young talents that can easily curate with the existing squads to make the team stronger and formidable for next season. A very impressive football they played this season and we hope they can continue this consistency for next season again.

Leverkusen's defeat in the European League final, in my opinion, was very painful, but I was surprised why Alonso could miss Atalanta, to be honest, if we compare it with Leverkusen, Atalanta doesn't have a perfect record, but this is the magic of football, no team is truly perfect, everyone will lose at some point, even so, I really appreciate Alonso because he managed to make Leverkusen what it is now, I still haven't heard of the player Alonso is targeting for next season, if we compare it with Another team, Leverkusen still doesn't have a very prominent striker.

I don't know if there is anyone watching the magical playoff between Fortuna Düsseldorf and Bochum where in the first leg the former was at away and defeated Bochum 0-3. Today is the second leg and Bochum went to their home and is also winning them with the same score of 0-3. This is one sweet thing about the German league, anything is possible. It would have been easy to assume that Fortuna Düsseldorf will win with home advantage being on their side and since they were able to win at away against Bochum. But the reverse is the case and we are seeing something spectacular. What an interesting game it is and I am anxious to see how it finally ends.

In the previous seasons, Leverkusen usually finished in the top 6. They are the team from Bundesliga that quite often played in Europa league. But sometimes they could finish in the top 3 and played in UCL. However, they never won Bundesliga trophy, they didn't target to compete for the title. Sure, in this season Leverkusen performed very incredible, no team in Bundesliga can defeat Leverkusen. Then my guys truly lived up to their name tonight as "Undescendables" by getting their own 3-0 with 20 minutes to spare; proceeding to just hang on tight till penalties. Keeper had an easy save to make really from the first Dusseldorf kick, but Masovic made them sweat some more with his miss. Bochum managed to turn things around by beating Fortuna Düsseldorf via a penalty shootout. It's amazing that no one thought that Fortuna Düsseldorf would fail to qualify for the Bundeliga next season, even though in the first leg they played very well when they hosted Bochum and they won at Bochum's home ground but instead they lost at home.
In the second match Fortuna Düsseldorf was the host, but no one expected Bochum to play optimally last night, the 0-3 defeat at home did not have a bad impact on the mentality of the Bochum players, but what happened was that Bochum managed to equalize so this match had to be continued to penalty shootout which resulted in Fortuna Düsseldorf losing 5-6 to Bochum, which means Bochum can still survive in the Bundesliga next season.

I didn't realized this match and after lost with big scores in the first leg from Fortuna Düsseldorf i was lost hope to Bochum and i thought Bochum was done because second leg will be helded at Fortuna Düsseldorf home ground and with their condition i highly doubt Bochum can able to win at least with 3 goals margin and reverse the situation but clearly i was wrong because Bochum was performing fantastic and they can able to scores 3 goals which makes both teams has same aggregate 3-3 at the normal time and Bochum was dramatically can eliminate Fortuna Düsseldorf from penalty shootout indeed this result is highly unexpected because previously Fortuna Düsseldorf in the comfortable position but Bochum has displayed strong mentallity which make them can win the match and survive at Bundesliga

I believe Leverkusen can continue to perform as well as they have this season and im still hoping that xabi can win another bundesliga trophy. As of right now, Xabi has no plans to leave the team nor join in another club consider he is still having good time in leverkusen. .
He is still eager to manage Leverkusen for another season and he can leave anytime. We may see him leave Leverkusen once he is able to provide another excellent season for the club in the future. Xabi has rejected numerous offers from other clubs.

He still intends to stay in Leverkusen for several years but who knows if football is dynamic. Xabi can do U turn anytime. I'm confident Xabi will leave at the end of his contract but he may also change his mind at the end of next season. Leverkusen has also confirmed that Xabi can leave the club at any time as part of the agreement being made between him and leverkusen before he has been officially being a part of club.

The condition of Bayern Munich as a team that often wins in the Bundesliga is not good. On average, the great players that Bayern Munich has have left and moved to other teams. But when the player transfer market opens again, there is a possibility that Bayern Munich will buy a great player and might become a big threat to Leverkusen.
