First of all, it was a great comeback from Bochum in the second leg. there is almost 0 chance that they will be able to pull that off. Bayer Leverkusen have always been the very top club to make accommodations of excellent players. Players worked hard because they're determined for what's coming their path, it's been really a tough period but winning is compulsory for such a club. Bayer Leverkusen was considered the best competitive club this season. Leverkusen headcoach, Xabi Alonso have always been in the original picture when we're talking about determine minds and consistency.

I guess no one could have predicted at the beginning of the year that Bayer Leverkusen would only have one defeat and that it would be in the UEL final. Players who were considered average at the beginning of the season took on great identities as the season progressed. They took the team on their backs and brought them to great places. I wish they had won the Atalanta match as well, but it would be great to have only one defeat in a whole season. They closed the season with 2 trophies and I am sure they will try to be even better next season. Xabi's achievements cannot be ignored. He should be talked about as the first name that made Leverkusen the best.

It's true that Leverkusen's players worked hard. Also Xabi Alonso's match strategy was excellent. And because of Alonso's match strategy, Leverkusen team was able to maintain the winning streak. Xabi Alonso is undoubtedly the best coach this year.

Every player must work hard, it is the responsibility of every player in a football team. However, I can appreciate Leverkusen players, they could understand well the tactics or strategy implemented by Xabi Alonso. They also want to force themselves to play in a higher level, so they can be more competitive. Besides Xavi has a smart idea for the team, the spirit among the players also has a big role to make them be a stronger team in this season. Anyway, I can admit that Xabi got a great achievement with Leverkusen in this season.

Leverkusen's players were confident.   Also the players were hard working. And Xabi Alonso was the mastermind behind Leverkusen's confidence building.

Xabi Alonso's match strategy was very good. Xabi Alonso used to make match strategy considering the strength of the opponent. This is why the Leverkusen team performed well in both matches against Bayern Munich.   There are no star players in the Leverkusen team. Still every player gave full effort from his position to do well.   All this is possible because of Xabi Alonso. He has taken a mediocre team to extraordinary heights, which is why Xabi Alonso is the best coach in Europe this year

Although Bayer Leverkusen failed in the Europa League but still, maintaining an unbeaten record for a whole season is not very easy. Moreover, Bayer Leverkusen is also at least not a team with big money status but in fact, Bayer Leverkusen was able to go unbeaten for a full season in the domestic league. In fact, other big teams that have good dominance in their respective leagues and are able to get consecutive trophies, but they are also unable to maintain an unbeaten record. Maybe this will be one of the most memorable seasons. But I admit Leverkusen are really on a different level this season. Congratulations to Xabi Alonso and all the players who succeeded in winning the first Bundesliga trophy in the club's history, as well as this being the first double winner for Leverkusen, CMIIW.

I am actually happy that they were able to win the last match against FCK. even though they were actually getting a lot of backlash for not being able to win the Europa League title, I think this is another achievement that they will be very happy about.  people understand that this was not easy for them at all. Even though Leverkusen was able to score in the 17th minute of the match, they had a player sent off in the 44th minute of the match. so basically they had to play more than half of the match with only 10 players on the field versus the 11 of their opponent.

I am actually a little surprised that they were able to keep a clean sheet in this match. I actually thought that FCK would be able to score and the match might be decided by penalties. And I will also say that Leverkusen was somewhat lucky in this match. If this was any other big opposition, they would have been in big problem.
