No, I don't think so.
He had contributed a lot for the Warriors team and mostly when Steph Curry is out he is the offensive weapon.
And let us not forget how good his defense is. He worked so hard for it.

I agree that Klay Thompson is an underrated player, he is not very useful if Curry is injured, even at times when Curry will struggle, Klay Thomponson is always ready to fill the some points Curry not able to contribute.

I remember one of their classic game when they come are down 1-3 against the OKC and they come back to win the series.

But if someone's going to look all of his performance, we can say that he's one of the biggest contributors of GSW during their way to championships.

Cousins will not just sit in the bench, he will certainly play if given a minutes is just properly manage, I think he will be less prone to injury.
Look at Dwight Howard, he was prone to injury also but good thing he was very effective with the Lakers though given only limited time, so in short, Lakers knows how to manage Howard minutes that other teams struggles.

Here is a credible source for 2K sounds being used for the games. Of course not many details are given just yet because it is not even decided if they will do that or not, however we can be sure that if they do something like this they will probably let everyone know how it will be before hand.

After all having 20k people cheering all at the same time from 360 degrees around the court versus having sounds from some speakers are very different, they need to make sure that it is not cheesy and it is not from only few places, the sound should make players feel like it is coming from the stands like a real one, if it won't and if it is like someone put up some speakers and blasted cheers, that would be very horrible, not just for the game but it would be very cringey to watch and hear as well.

I used to play 2k in playstation and if they will use the SFX of the crowd from that game, then the vibes will be similar to playing NBA2K.

Again, that is the problem.
It's a risk. Put yourself in a team management perspective.
Are you willing to take that much risk just like how you explained it?
He is a great player there is no doubt about that.
But if you get injured most of the time how will you train?
Your health, your stamina are all going south.

The Miami Heat and L.A. Lakers are both said to be engaged in trying to bring DeMarcus Cousins in for the playoffs in Orlando.
The Heat have the cap space to sign him but would have to cut either Udonis Haslem, Chris Silva or Solomon Hill to do it, while there is also a lot of internet chatter about the Lakers bringing him back in a quest to help LeBron James win a fourth ring. This is what other players are worried about.
Even just one of them will be infected by the virus again then everything will be shut down without hesitation.

It doesn't matter where or whom it will come from.
Management, maintenance crew, cameraman, press... wherever or whoever it will be, everything will be affected.
I guess this is what they are trying to point out.
They all want to play, no doubt. But for what expense.

Wait a minute, he is waived? I didn't know Cousins was waived by the Lakers because he was injured, I thought he was still with the team but just on injured status. They waived him on February 23th and ever since that moment he wasn't playing for any team but to be honest by march the league was postponed anyway. This playoffs and pandemic could be the best thing that ever happened to him. If he is feeling better and can play this dude could go out there with any team and could prove that he still has his talents, just be a force inside for rebounds and even that would be great to get a new team.

Without the pandemic he would be sitting the whole year out and would play next year but thanks to Covid-19 the league was postponed and he might have time to play the game even if he is out of shape and needs to play some minutes to get back on his feet.

Haven't heard of any related news about NBA lately, and this what would I see? Damn, not a good news indeed  . Good thing Adam Silver remain firm with his decision though he had enough with his plate already... bunch of messed up circumstances though.

Not sure, but I think if the league wouldn't be able to carry on to continue the league at the certain date, I think they will be moving it for several days later or maybe until stuff remain under control there. It is still risky to gamble health matters, after all  .

Media are necessary, who would give the news?
They just have to limit the people inside the venue, but all the necessary people with their respective jobs has to be their, media should be treated the way players are treated in terms of security protocol to ensure everything will be working fine.
