He has already made history. But I think for someone like him, there's more that he can do and with his age, it doesn't look like that he's old enough. Let's all wish that he's going to go with the Lakers until his retirement to pay a contribution for the Mamba. With any of his decision, still many would love to support him. Who says Lebron is old, at 35 he is still dominating the NBA, not winning the MVP season but we know why, because if he wants to do it, he will but he chooses to bring the ultimate success to the team which is winning the Finals which the Lakers are so hungry to taste that victory. He would stay, alright, but he will sure make more history as a player as he is now very close in terms of stats to the greatest players in the NBA. We're not saying that he's old but we're only telling his age at this point. I also think that before he decides to retire, there should be something that can be remembered in his name. Just like the GOAT, there should be a unique brand and remembrance under his name and whatever it is. We're sure to remember that he's one of the best.

He will do a unbeatable record for sure, he continuing to prove his greateness not only in the league but in the world. We all know that Lebron have a lot of haters even though he has a great heart where he keep giving and helping a lot of people especially those who are in need. Lebron will not yet retire because he still in the shape and for sure he will break his limits again and become a world champion again. He did a lot of crazy things in the recent playoffs and season and my prediction is we will see again a lot of unbelievable play in the next season. I only have a doubt to the management of Lakers because there are rumours that they can let go a lot of good players especially one of the smartest player which is Rondo, for me it is not good because Rondo have a important role in the team and for me he is one of the factor why the Lakers win the title.

KD now will going to feel how big he will going to carry for team he wanted to get a championship title. I know what KD is capable of and definitely he can carry a team for he even became an MVP when he played at Golden State Warriors. He will going to plat this time like Lebron did in every team he landed up making an appearance to NBA finals or play off. This is the time that we can see if KD too could do the same thing like Lebron Jamea did. Anyway, he has Kyrie Irving which could let the guard dance in the court of his ball handling talent. It's how KD will act as the leader of Brooklyn Nets, similar to what Lebron did in Lakers, he doesn't take the game into himself but help his team to get involved that's why he has a good tandem with AD or even the Caru-show and that's how people love Lebron in Los Angeles, and now that he fulfilled his dream and promise to Lakers to bring another championship trophy. Will KD has that mentality in Nets, will he has the influence over the players including Kyrie?

This is a big question, honestly, I believe that Kyrie always has the mentality of a leader, he wants to lead the team, maybe the reason he leave the Cleveland Cavaliers as he wants to make his own team where he lead, so it was the Celtics but he wasn't a good leader in that team, and most success of Celtics was during the time he was injured and not playing. Here, if Durant will be the leader, he needs to respect that, Durant has proven himself many times, won Finals MVP and a championship couple of times.

KD never managed to be a top cat anywhere he was, in OKC he was the best player by far but always "shared" the spotlight with Westbrook as well and considering Brodie managed to have a back to back triple double years after him, we can easily say that brodie is not a bad player neither, dude is amazing but KD never seeked for that star of the team MJ or Lebron type of deal for himself. After that he left the team for GSW to basically have free championships, he got it as much as he can and left that too. I don't know what his plan is with Nets but I am %100 sure he is not going to be aiming at a championship, both Kyrie and KD need a championship away from superstars, everyone says Kyrie has a ring all because of Lebron (true) and KD has a ring all because of Warriors superstars (true) and now they may want a ring, but I do not buy that, I think he will just get the most money he possible could and retire there with as much profit as he can.

That said Lebron has only a couple years left. No one is a super star in to their 40's in basketball. I do think he's got 2-3 years of greatness left however.

I think Lebron takes a good care of himself. So, I believe that he will play at a superstar level even when he is 40. I hope Lebron will retire in Lakers. Frankly, even if Clippers have changed their coach, my favorite team is Lakers again this year.

Looking at him he can do that, he still fit and he always been encircle by superstars so he's not being forced to carry the whole team, currently with the Lakers line up he have everything that he needed. If he continue having the same backup he don't need to play long time or he don't need to carry everything, he can be a decoy and let he's teammates to do the job for him. It's always different when he's around having him in the league for the next couple of years may be a good thing for the league and the fans, both haters and pro LeBron.

I doubt the Lakers management will let him go. They have a superstar now and that says a lot to bring the team into the hype. Then, he can generate a large number of profits for the Lakers so he will stay. This is the time that we can see if KD too could do the same thing like Lebron Jamea did. Anyway, he has Kyrie Irving which could let the guard dance in the court of his ball handling talent.
It's different. No disrespect to KD but I don't think he was the leader type of a player. Yes, he is a star but not a leader. Kyrie, same. So, this Brooklyn team is really strong offensively now but mistakes can also happen without a good leader to handle it. There must be one of them making decisions when pressure comes. Maybe upon watching 15-20 games (with KD and Kyrie) we could tell if something has changed.

It's no secret that LeBron James is spending millions to take care of his body. When he played a "total of perfect 82 games" last 2017-18 season plus averaging "around 40 minutes per game in the playoffs to Finals", many got surprised that even in his post-prime at 33 years of age that time, he's not showing any signs of slowing down. Then that brings the question of how James takes care of his body and a report stated he spends about $1.5M per year for that. And with his last season performance, still no signs of slowing down and still establishing good stats in every game. He seems not exhausted too as Lakers done a good job on signing a set of good role players. I'm seeing LBJ still in his good shape for at least 2-3 seasons more, possible even around 40s.

He is on top of his game now but the youngins are going to start being faster than he is which will negate his strength around the rim. He will have a couple good years left then he should retire before we start seeing the skeleton of a player that once was. Be like George and go out on top!

KD played in OKC too, and with westbrook and other players which I think Irving is a better player than westbrook but not all that much, just a tiny bit and yet KD failed to bring any championship to OKC. Mainly that was because they played in the west and west is a tough one, but east looks like it is getting tougher as well, one day they look like they are decent and another day they look like they are soft. However between sixers, raptors, bucks, Miami, celtics and now nets east going to be not so easy neither.
I feel like best KD can do with Nets would be second round exit, he would probably not make it to conference finals, and if he does that would probably be the end as well. However this is basketball, you never know what is going to happen, who could have said Miami would be at finals at the start of last year? NOBODY could have guessed that at all.

Im seeing 5 more seasons for him to maintain it out. I dont know what their salary cap is but they would probably have to dump a bunch of money to get a max star. NBA has a salary cap so you cant just indefinitely add superstars at will lile you can in baseball.
The attempt on acquiring Giannis is already on the Dallas Mavericks plan for a long time now. If salary cap is an issue and that will be the reason why that signing won't happen then we should already see a rumor or some analyst shared their view stating it's not possible to happen. There are ways to make it happen but that will limit Mavericks plan this upcoming season to market good role players. That also depend on Giannis decision once he hit the free agency in the next post-season. Having Giannis on Dallas will really great contender on next season. All will vary indeed on Giannis decision. On what chance we do see for this to happen?

Sportsbooks knows better, they have rank the teams according to their chances. https://www.vegasinsider.com/nba/odds/futures/Los Angeles Lakers +350 7/2 Los Angeles Clippers +400 4/1 Milwaukee Bucks +650 13/2 Boston Celtics +1200 12/1 Golden State Warriors +1200 12/1 Brooklyn Nets +1400 14/1 Miami Heat +1400 14/1 Brooklyn nets has the same odds with Heat, Sixers was not even considered here as that team is already a mess, FOR NOW>

It's all business after all, LeBron is a big name in the league, so why not?. Though just like what you said, no players in their 40's is a superstar in basketball, because they become a living legend.

Kobe retired at 38 year old, he was still a star though he was already struggling at that time, but Lebron is different, he is healthy so he could last at 40 years old or even more, who knows, his conditioning is extra ordinary, he spent a lot of money for that and he wants to prove something.

From 2012 onwards, Lakers is one of the underperformed team in the NBA. Kobe Bryant suffered major injuries that affects his overall performance. If my calculation is correct he was 33-36 years old at that time. If Lebron will make it possible not to suffer injuries, he can even play at 40s in a strong built and established a new record of the most active age player in the NBA which I think being hold now by Vince Carter at 43 years old.

That's right, Kobe was not as explosive as he was before the injury, the injury really changes his career and that is one of the main reasons why LA struggle because despite of him not the same Kobe, he is still taking most of the shots, he didn't adjust and just allow the young guns to do most of the production. If you see Kobe's shooting percentage, he is at his worst.

Giannis and Westbrook, who like their tandem? NBA Trade Rumors: Bucks Can Land Russell Westbrook For Four Players And First-Round Pick "After falling short of their goals in the 2020 postseason, the Milwaukee Bucks are in a state of flux as they determine how they can make their team better this offseason.
Among a number of rumors and trade suggestions, Danny Cunningham of Complex proposed a deal for the Bucks that could pair Giannis Antetokounmpo with 9x All-Star, Russell Westbrook. "
If this would happen, will Westbrook finally land on a team that will improve because of his contribution? Bucks are certainly looking to improve and I think this is their chance here.
