They were already pretty good last year, finished 9th and they were just a new team considering it has been like 2 years or 3 years since Lebron left if I am not wrong, so its a whole rebuild project right now for them because after Lebron left they were horrible, and only after a few years they already have a decent team. That Donovan Mitchell move was a beast move, they really got a great player with him, and he is very young as well so the timing fits perfectly too. However, they are not "there" yet, they need to manage to find a way to get one more level higher. If they had one more star player, then they would be going for east title for sure, but right now as it is, they are a clear playoff team, but their second round depends on who they face.

It seems like Kyrie Irving has found a new source of drama for himself.  Critics have labeled him as a promoter of anti-semitic media after his latest comments in support of a film that has met the same label.  He's responded on twitter saying that he respects all religions and that he meant to disrespect, but I'm sure after Kanye the cancel culture vultures are circling.  Even the Nets owner Joe Tsai came out and condemned Kyrie's comments.  This is probably another example why the Nets didn't want to keep Kyrie on the team longer than they have to.  I've never seen a player go out of their way to damage their value like Kyrie before.  Always fun to watch what he's got going on.

Honestly, if we will analyze what happened during the off-season when the Los Angeles Lakers are trying to trade Westbrook, there are teams that maybe disregard the value of Westbrook's contract and are even willing to pay him based on what is left on his Lakers contract as long as part of the deal will involve the future 1st round picks of the Lakers. That's how valuable first-round picks that's why they might gamble paying Russ with such an amount as long as these teams will get the rights of the Laker's future 1st round picks.

That's the only thing that upsets me about Lakers bad start, I mean it's fine for everyone else because they play badly and they deserve it, but when we are talking about Lebron, dude is still playing like the best player in a championship level team and still losing because he has absolutely no help. He did managed to bright Cavs to finals even when they sucked, but now even Cavs are better than Lakers.

I feel like he should leave if he could, but financially it's quite near impossible to find a team that could even trade for him, would be not easy to match the salaries. He should definitely leave but it is obvious that he wouldn't be able to even if he wanted to.

4 years to be exact, if my memory serves me right, and still up to this day they are still picking up the pieces when Lebron left them, they even fire Ty Lue during that era isn't it? So they are still in the rebuilding phase, yes they have a good record last year, they also started very strong only to falter later.

And I would agree that it was great move for them to acquire Donovan Mitchell, Donovan needs a new home and he seems to be settling down already this early or he is such a great player that when surrounded with another good player he clicked immediately.

It will be on Monday against the Denver Nuggets and this team isn't going to go easy on them as they also have a good run at the first games that they've got unlike the Lakers.

The Nuggets are a pretty strong team, and the Lakers will probably play without Davis again. So it will be quite expected if the Lakers' losing streak increases to 6 games in a row. Honestly, it's a pity that Davis is so prone to injury. He can really be an effective player, but he misses games due to injuries once again, although the regular season has just begun. This looks like an unsolvable problem both for himself and the team.

How could they consider it a success? It is as failure as it could possibly get if you ask me. Because, they need to tank in order to get good rookies, right now they may look good because of the scores but they are not at all.

Who are they going to win a championship with? Conley? Markkanen? Clarkson? Beasley? Of course not, this team may look decent enough for the time being but they are not, they got lucky a few games but I guarantee you that they won't win 50 games, and probably even fail to get over 40 games. They just had a lucky start to the season and that’s it. They need to tank so that they could get good picks and good players, this current situation is not good at all.

They are in a rebuilding process, any win they can get is a victory. I do not think they have any expectations right now, not to mention getting to the finals. And they do not need to tank as well this year. They got tons of first-round picks from Gobert and Mitchell trades.  I think that is enough for them to build on. Ainge is a genius. He helped Celtics to be in their position now and I hope he can do it to the Jazz as well. Winning games even at this level create excitement for fans and that is enough to keep them coming to see their games even when they are rebuilding. Isn't that counted as a success?

I think there would be no team in the league right now who will accept Westbrook if in case the Lakers will choose to trade him. I guess it's just too late.

There will always be a team that will sign Russell Westbrook but not the same as what the Lakers offered him.

Not for long if the media keeps destroying his image. He is still a good basketball player, not at the level he was before the lakers, but he is still good if he is given the right plays and not getting bombarded by negative media all the time. If the Lakers want to trade him, they must make him look good by giving him plays that suited his style. Then other teams will get more interested and give more in exchange for Westbrook.

Key players are Embiid who had his rest and LaVine for the Bulls who also didn't play yesterday. The 76ers stretched the lead to 19 early in the game but the Bulls never gave up and tried to catch up until they had the lead at third and made it a close game until the end.

Good for the 76ers, they are improving their win-loss standing. After starting 0-3 this season, they are finally finding their wins. I think they have found what they are missing and finally making the wins they needed. I had high hope for this team since Harden took lesser pay to get better players to join them. That commitment will be wasted if they do not get at least into the finals.

I bet on Chicago Bulls in this match hoping Embiid will sit this one out, but I am wrong.

That is the bad side of GSW. If they cannot have their threes, they will have a bad night. They have few players who can drive and get points from the paint but most of their plays rotate to their core players hitting the 3s. Sure, they will bounce back from this.

I think there would be no team in the league right now who will accept Westbrook if in case the Lakers will choose to trade him. I guess it's just too late.

There will always be a team that will sign Russell Westbrook but not the same as what the Lakers offered him.

It's a good catch if teams can get him at a fair price.

During the off-season, there are lots of trade packages offered from other teams that the Lakers received for Westbrook but none of those satisfy them because as reported, part of the Westbrook deal should also include some of the future first-round picks of the Lakers which seems a bad idea to risks with.

Therefore, instead of pushing trading Westbrook, they keep the current roster intact for this season and that's what we are seeing right now. As I said before, trading Westbrook depends on how the team will behave this season. I'm thinking that the decision of trading Westbrook will be finalized after seeing their progress in the mid-half of the season.

He will be traded if there's a good package from other teams who are also interested to get him to without risking the Lakers future draft picks, currently, Westbrook's salary is too high for other teams especially when his performance doesn't synch well with the price of his contract. It might happen this season but the chance is slim and other teams might wait Westbrook until he lands in the free agency.

I also think that it will be the nearest possible scenario for the Lakers here and for Westbrook as well, I don't really think there would be a team in the league now who will get Westbrook in that state. Teams will wait for his contract to finish first and then offer him a much lower contract. Anyway, I guess it's still too soon to conclude that Westbrook will be shooting bricks until the end of this season, there's still a chance.

Klay Thompson, imo, is not that same Klay we have seen before the injury yet. 941 days of rest is not a joke without practice, training, or anything to improve his game. All that nerves may have been on the restoring part.
We haven't seen him scored above 20 points yet but I am glad to see him playing 32 minutes now. That should mean something for him and for their team to build more confidence.

As for the Hornets, I’ve heard rumors of them looking at a trade with Gordon Hayward and some others for Russell Westbrook and some picks.

If this happens, Hornets might be the perfect place for WB. They lack leadership there especially when LaMelo is not playing.

Everyone can have a bad game, hopefully it's temporary and soon they will find their game, they stick to their strategy, which worked well for them. Klay Thompson did not have a very productive match. Actually, Stephen Curry and Poole are the only ones who had decent performances in this game. If they had some help from the other players on the team I think they could have done better. That could have probably resulted in them winning the match. I also agree that they will surely play better next time.

Hornets had a successful game overall. They had contributions from players all around the team. And that's why I think they have won the match. Warriors were not doing as well as they should have been in this game, since the shooting from them didn't seem to be on point in this game, which was a disappointment. And that is another big reason why Hornets won.

Just like I predicted, the 76ers have proven that they can have great teamwork, and it is now evident here in this game, James Harden made a double-double performance of 11 assists and 15 points, while Joel Embiid had 25 lead points for the 76ers,

This was an outstanding close game I think without Ja Morant the Grizzlies could have won it, but with or without Ja Morant the Grizzlies have an outstanding last season, but right now the Utah Jazz has some new outstanding recruits that are capable in getting with the Jazz game,

Another game tomorrow for the Lakers, still against the Nuggets, so we can assume that it's another massacre? I'm guessing, their losing streak will continue after this game as they have no answer on this good team, I hope I'm wrong because I want to see their cold streak end.
