Tonight we have another TNT crew doubleheader. First the Bulls and the Nets. I think I’m going to go with the Nets on this one. They’re still playing bad, but squeaking out wins lately and the Bulls always struggle against good teams. Then we have the Timberwolves and Suns. Both teams matchup poorly with each other, so this will be an interesting game to watch. I think the shooting guard battle will likely be the story of that game.
Edit: Steve Nash fired as the Nets coach.
Yeah I'm watching the game right now. Started watching about 5 minutes in to the game or so. The Bulls are playing okay, but the Nets are showing, despite how dysfunctional they might be right now, Durant is still a top 3 player on the planet and despite Irving not having scored yet, he's damn good and so are the Nets with them. Of course Simmons is on the bench which is typical/sad..but the Bulls also have Ball on the bench, so that kind of evens out. The Bulls without Ball will just never know what their true potential is. So this season kinda sucks for me as a Bulls fan.

Edit: Steve Nash fired as the Nets coach.
I was surprised when I read this one in the news earlier. I thought they were all good, but I guess the bad start is enough to remove him from the position. From what I read, Nets is tapping the currently suspended Ime Udoka as their next head coach. I guess we have to watch out if this will be true. Westbrook came off the bench, and that changed a lot in the team and I believe that could be the way to go for them. It is obvious that Westbrook will play with the starters eventually, just because he starts off the bench doesn't mean that he will get less minutes, he still gets a starter amount of minutes, he also has points where he plays with Lebron and AD as usual, that is not the point.
The reason why he should start from the bench is the fact that it would help them actually have a great player on the bench when Lebron and AD is resting, during that period Westbrook could play the way he always played and score, and that is how he was so efficient, be the king of the bench basically.
I guess you are right. The way Westbrook play is not compatible with Lebron. Lebron needs a shooter outside where he can kick the ball out when is he trapped inside. Westbrook cannot be that person because he has abysmal outside shooting. Westbrook needs the ball in his hand and makes the plays. Coming out from the bench, he will not be on the way of Lebron or competing on the same position. .... By the way, there are already rumors that the Nets are in talks with Udoka, and I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes the new Nets' head coach.
Probably a bad move to hire a controversial coach at this point. Fits the team though. Controversial players with their controversial coach. Fits perfectly. seriously speaking, if he can install the same discipline the Boston Celtics have, I think that will have a good effect on the team. What this team needs are a coach that could whip the star players into the right direction. They are full of talented players, but they won't listen to Nash.

Brooklyn is a tire fire currently. I think they did Steve Nash a favor by letting him go. Look at the shit he had to deal with. Kyrie wouldn't get vaccinated, Durant trying to force a trade, Durant trying to get him fired, and now Kyrie with his antisemitism stuff. That team is just insane the last couple years. Nash will get another job if he really wants it.
Correct. He deserves to be in a good environment and I agree with most coaches' comments about this event, the instability of the Nets team is what made him look like a bad coach but he is a brilliant one as he still carried them to the 7th seed and a playoffs chance last year despite the players trying to do whatever they want. Warriors 3rd loss. Miami Heat somehow managed to squeeze some offense in the 4th quarter even after being dominated in the 3rd.

Dwight Howard openly campaigning to get signed to the Golden State Warriors is something I didn’t see coming. I like it though. I think he is extremely underrated and still one of the most dominant players in the league. I think he could help the Warriors out a lot, but he’s a bit of a problem in the locker room. Still, I like the idea of Steph having a Hall of Famer fetching his rebounds.

It seems that the Warriors are struggling right now, I know it is still early and they are still adjusting their setup and it seems that Stephen Curry is the only one motivated to win here right now he just did triple-doubles of 13 rebounds 13 assists, and 23 points that is a remarkable play even for him, for taking those rebounds it seems they need to up their defense more because they will be needing it, Cleveland Cavaliers VS Boston Celtics The stake odds for this game are 2.07 for the Heat and 1.80 for the Celtics, Right now Darius Garland, Dylan Windler, and Raul Neto are questionable if they can play tomorrows game, for the Cavaliers, while Robert Williams III and Danilo Gallinari can not play for the Celtics, for me right now the Celtics is going their all to regain their position, so I guess my pick is the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks VS Atlanta HawksThe stake odds for this game are 1.79 for the Knicks and 2.08 for the Hawks, I would surely go with the Hawks because of Trae Young but because Bogdan Bogdanovic will not play and may return on November 5, I may have adjusted my bets, while Onyeka Okongwu is questionable, that is why I think the New York Knicks will win this, Houston Rockets VS Los Angeles ClippersThe stake odds for this game are 2.65 for the Rockets and 1.51 for the Clippers, for me this is just a hunch but because Kawhi Leonard will return on November 6, and Robert Covington will return on the 4th of November for the Clippers, I will set my bet for the Rockets, Dallas Mavericks VS Utah JazzThe stake odds for this game are 1.44 for the Mavericks and 2.90 for the Jazz, Right now I am really amazed by the Utah Jazz's progress, and for me, this could be their big break this season, so for me, I would go with the Jazz, Los Angeles Lakers VS New Orleans PelicansThe stake odds for this game are 2.26 for the Lakers and 1.67 for the Pelicans, great last game for the Lakers Winning against the Nuggets, could be their turnaround to things and the Pelicans now have a big problem with their Injuries, so I would go with the Lakers this time,

Now that KD's wish already happened, what's next for the Nets? Who will be their new coach now? Does anybody here have any candidates that they are thinking that might get take the coaching spot? Stephen A. Smith said in a tweet that getting Ime Udoka or Mark Jackson will be good for the team but for me, I'm thinking Mike D'Antoni to fit with how the players are playing. D'Antoni is the one who invented the D'Antoni offense back when he is in Rockets where they will just shoot threes more than twos. With the current roster of Nets and just looking at how many of them are good three-point shooters (exclude Simmons of course) and add an offensive-minded coach like him, I think it will be a good fit. For the users here, who would you think is a good coach for the team? Not familiar with their interim coach right now so maybe if somebody here knows him, can anybody share something .

I think a lot of speculations going around about Ime Udoka. He'll most probably going to take over Brooklyn as the new head coach. What a sad day for Brooklyn and Steve Nash, separated ways early this season after having a 2-6 record, while the Lakers just celebrated the first win for Darvin as an NBA head coach with a record of 1-5. I'm afraid Darvin will follow this path if the Lakers won't make any difference even after this huge win against Denver. A lot of things will change mid season, but top teams is in the bottom today lol. GSW just had their 3 straight L's.

I can also see these players crack a joke about the controversy in the locker room or on the court. How they view the coach will most likely affect how they play during games. I don't think the Nets needs more of the unnecessary media attention that may come if they hire Udoka. ...... They lost to the Bulls. They played quite well in the first three quarters with other players stepping up to help KD but they just couldn't close out games. Maybe they could have done better if Jacque Vaughn stuck with Joe Harris in the 4th instead of Kyrie.

The action of Brooklyn in parting ways for coach Nash gives him a good rest, having stars who wanted to control the system is not something a coach would like within his team, another disappointing result for the Nets..

I guess it's forthcoming, remember before the season started, there were some pressure from the management coming from a a player that wanted to get rid of Nash. And so he won again, Nash left the Nets, and whatever he says, it's a bad separation in my opinion. Not sure about Ham, the Lakers could have too much faith in him right now.

I think it is actually better for him that he has left. The things that Brooklyn had to go through in recent times were absolutely unbelievable. All the bullshit that the players did was not good for the team or even for their careers as well. They have lost a game to Chicago Bulls recently. Which I might add, I did not expect Brooklyn to win, to be honest. When these types of things are going on in the team it is more difficult for the players to bring in the desired results. Steve Nash is going to find another job for sure if he wants to continue his career. Additionally, I think it will be better for him compared to what he had to go through with the Brooklyn Nets.

I think it's a good thing that both sides agree to part ways. KD might still not like Steve Nash but at the same time, it's really a big headache coaching Brooklyn Nets. There are rumors that some teams are trying to take Ime Oduka's services and the Nets is one of those teams. But looking at the current Nets line-up, Oduka might not like it but he can rebuild the team as he likes. I see KD's chances of staying with the Nets the whole season at 50/50. Kyrie Irving always creates drama every season. And Ben Simmons is performing at a mediocre level which is obviously not worth his $35 million salary this season. As for the Lakers' new coach, Darvin Ham's fate rests in Lebron James' hands.

As for the Lakers' new coach, Darvin Ham's fate rests in Lebron James' hands. LOL, that sounds hilarious but true, it's been proven in the past already. Coach David Blatt was fired because of Lebron, and there was a rumor that he wants to get coach Spo fired when he was still with the Heat but the management did not grant his request, so that resulted him leaving the team.

If they successfully acquire Oduka to their team for sure we can see a improve Nets with his addition, also maybe they need to consider trading Irving because he always create drama to their team and that is totally bothering to them and maybe to their team chemistry. To much drama happening is not good so to eliminate this trading him might result good as for sure they can also get a quality piece in exchange to him.

I do hope that if ever they will bring back coach Oduka the respect of those stars will be showing up. I see that both KD and Kyrie are not willing to be coached by Coach Nash. It reflects to the outcome of each game that they've played. Both Kyrie and KD are just after with their stats. Maybe if having a new coach we will see eagerness from both stars to take the lead and win the game. We will be waiting for any updates regarding to this matter, if Boston will release him and what will be the setup from both franchises.

What the heck! The arrogance of the Brooklyn Nets to fire Steve Nash after being humble and forgiving Kyrie after what he said. Damn! That's one thing men would not be willing to do and yet he did so that concludes he is really a good coach just to keep the team intact. Then, he took them to the playoffs which should've been impossible after that stunt by Kyrie, KD, and Ben. The other guy doesn't want to play, while the other feels like he should not play yet and another thinks he is better than his coach. It's their loss, I wish Steve Nash will be hired by other teams and prove them wrong. Sweet Revenge.

Nets are struggling and they put all the blame to the coach, well, we can understand that as Irving and Durant were real superstars and yet their team can barely win a game. No more excuses now, if they still would not improve, then we can conclude that the players are really the problem, most especially on the superstars.

And, they just lose to Chicago Bulls with those 17 turnovers and lot of offensive rebounds from Chicago. We don't know with Nets management and how they fire Steve but one thing is for sure if they improved then that's fine but if not, superstars should know what they're missing. Team owners/management these days will never hold coaches just because they're not winning. I wish Steve will have a lesson for this, maybe start small again as a coach on some small league then back again at NBA.

IMO, coach Nash could be fired last year but it was just delayed, and now we are already seeing our expectations, it's like there's a conflict between the best players and him, so things will not work out. Teams do usually invest on players not on coach, so it's not surprising.

Goodness gracious, Denver Nuggets are so kind that they've given the first-ever win for the Lakers. Kidding Aside. I thought that the Nuggets would be able to catch up with the lead of the Lakers but that's it, it seems an achievement and many are happy with this win for the Lakers. We are wishing them that this should be the motivation on them to get their next wins.
It is nice to see the Lakers get a W finally. They were led by Russell Westbrook having a good shooting night off the bench as the Lakers second unit destroyed the Nuggets’ all night. A nice picture of what the Lakers are capable of. I never thought that the Lakers could score their first win against the Nuggets because Nuggets is also a tough team to beat yet the Laker still managed to win. AD and LeBron were also alive and doing most of their jobs, but the bench players were different that night especially Wesbrook for bouncing back as he almost committed a triple double while this kid Austin Reaves was also good, contributing double digits for the team. Their drought is over, let's hope that it's a good start for the season and they had already figured out how to win. Looking for the next win, hopefully, they'll get another one because if they'll lose again, that could be another start of the problem. Westbrook needs to be consistent, he cannot go off and on, because that's the only way to help his team. As much as I would like to agree that their drought is over but I think it is still too soon for that, they are now facing the Pelicans next and we know how tough they are this season especially when Zion have returned. It will be a tough challenge for sure and the Lakers will be tested if they indeed got their rhythm together, also, there might be some small problems because Davis is listed as questionable. Westbrook also got to prove as well that he is bouncing back.
