Are you using Win7? If so do you have access to another computer that is not Win7 (friend, family, neighbor, school, work, etc.)? Try that if possible until they get it fixed.
Yep, using Win 7. I will try another operating system when I get the chance as this should at least confirm the problem and show that the hardware itself isn't faulty.

Yep, using Win 7. I will try another operating system when I get the chance as this should at least confirm the problem and show that the hardware itself isn't faulty. I have run a virtual instance of Windows XP and the trezor has connected fine. So it is safe to assume this is a problem with Windows 7 compatibility. I'm glad I don't have to send the hardware back, but frustrated because the reason I bought the Trezor was to be able to use it securely on any computer. Let's hope a fix can be found soon

Was really happy to have my Trezor arrive yesterday, sadly I've not been able to get it to work. I've installed the browser plugin, plugged it into a USB port and get the positive confirmation noise. I then go to MyTrezor.com and it says: "Device could not be opened. Make sure you don't have myTREZOR running in another tab or browser window!". I have tried Chrome, Firefox and IE and also reinstalling the browser plugin. I've temporarily disabled any malware/anti virus that could be interfering. Nothing has helped. I'm on Windows 7. Has anyone else had this problem? Support say they have had other people with the same issue and are looking into it.
This problem is known, and as far as I know it is specific to Win 7 only, contact the Trezor support please Isn't this the USB cable problem again? Can you try different USB cable? Try different USB ports. Thanks for the suggestion - just tried this with the same results. Support are on the case, but as always with a new toy I am keen to get it working asap

Are you 100% sure you don't have another window open somewhere on your computer where you've already logged into myTrezor.com? That is what happened to me when I got that message, I'm embarrassed to say. Perhaps it's minimized or off-screen?

Someone needs to manufacture a waterproof case with key-ring loop for the Trezor, one that could be snapped shut but reopened to allow access to the buttons. I want to keep it with me at all times but I don't want to damage it (even though the stress tests on it are pretty reassuring).

Does anyone know what were the stress tests on Trezor? If it'll be the way of secure funding of the future, it'd better take lots of button pressings . :-)

million of button presses + high durability against dust and electricity discharge. not waterproof.

This is a good idea. I also think close attention needs to be paid to the little usb port at the bottom. Pulling the cord in and out a lot of times, could make the port not work after time. I typically just store the wholw thing together so that i dont keep pulling the cord out all the time (since additionally there were also some known issues with the usb cords shipped)

I noticed a difference when I logged onto mytrezor this morning. Before, when the actual trezor was not connected, the webpage would not allow you to click on the "send," it would only allow you to click on "receive" or allow you to generate new receiving addresses.
When I went there today, it now allows me to click on "send" and input the address and the amount. It doesn't look like it will allow me to actually send out BTC, but it is different than when I first created the web wallet.
Minuscule difference, but I just noticed it today...
