the right button seems slightly dented in the center.

thats normal

you're right, I just checked again, and there are dents in the buttons.   So are you guys plugging it in to check the balances every so often, or just entering the receiving address into a block explorer?

You do not need to plug it in to get the balance if your browser has remembered the xpub key.  The balance should be available at mytrezor.com without plugging in the Trezor.

It would be very painful to enter all of the receiving and change addresses into a block explorer.  There could be many of them and they are (should be) always changing.

One of the things I really like about Trezor and deterministic wallets in general is that they move people away from address reuse which is a big deal for privacy and fungibility.

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

So is this the safest way to store Bitcoin and be able to spend it pretty quickly trying to weigh up the pros and cons of this.

On a mission to make Bitcointalk.org Marketplace a safer place to Buy/Sell/Trade

I would call it one of the safest.  I use it to store a lot of BTC.

Really?   My browser (chrome), doesn't show any balances or anything without the trezor being physically plugged in...   It looks like this:

OS X 10.6 (32bit) is not supported by Apple anymore. Thus we don't support it either.

Try different USB cable. If it doesn't work, reach our support.

I've had mine a few days and am thoroughly impressed - I've transferred funds to it and then sent some 'loose change' to a phone based wallet and it's slick, simple and secure.

A pat on the back to all involved and I really wish I'd ordered a metal one back when I had the chance.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying.   The trezor works fine.   But I was asking if you can see your balances without physically plugging in the Trezor each time?

You have to plug it in at least once. Smiley Then while unplugging just select "Remember" and Transaction History/Receive feature will stay until you click "Forget device".

Keithers, did you delete your cookies after the trezor was plugged in? Or is your chromium setup to automatically delete cookies when closing (there's a checkbox for this somewhere in the settings)?

oh, ok...I just did it, thanks Smiley   Mine didn't have any option to select remember, but I just disconnected it without saying "forget device"

I'm not sure...I will check it out...I don't usually mess to much with the advanced settings or whatever because I usually get myself into a predicament that I cannot get out of...lol

Some feedback: I don't think it makes sense to have a repeat password requirement when logging into your trezor account because if you do accidentally mistype a character the account that it opens will have a 0 balance. Perhaps instead a big warning or a dialogue box pop up when ever you open up a zero balance account would be preferable to forcing people to type their password twice all the time.

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

My classic First Edition hasn't arrived yet, and the tracking number is not active on auspost.

The blog post says all classics were sent "flying" out by 25th July, but the comment on my order says sent with tracking number XXXXX dated 2nd August

AussieHash, if you're still waiting please talk to our support@bitcointrezor.com and we'll try to help you.

you see 2nd august because we've migrated the database that day and unfortunately it resulted in this little discordance with reality.
but I can confirm your package has left the week before august.

Is there a way to tell if my transaction will be dropped or broadcasted? I have an open ticket but this is going on for 36 hours and I need to get some coins to a person, and I don't want it to be broadcasted twice.

Maybe add a pending tx tab or something like that.

I'm proud to admit to being possibly the first person to put his Trezor Metallic version through the wash. Mostly concerned that the screen got ruined or something. Will update in a day or two regarding whether it survived!
