All the symptoms above are the same for me! Glad I checked on here.. was about to do a wipe and reload from recovery seed. Something must be down on the site.
I emailed support about it a few mins ago

No word from any of the trezor guys. I havent loaded the recovery seed anywhere, I hope they are working on it, or will at least acknowledge the problem soon

Backend restarted. myTREZOR balances should work ok again.

I had contacted them a few days ago about a bug that didn't show *some* transactions. They said they are aware and it's a backend problem. Seems it just got worse.
It looks like the transactions are back to normal. I also received a message from the guys over at trezor saying that they have fixed the problem. Pretty prompt response from them, which is much appreciated

Pretty prompt response from them, which is much appreciated The server was not fixed. It was restarted. This will happen again soon. I look forward to Electrum release so I have a backup solution when this happens next time.

You don't have to wait until the release, you can follow the instructions here under "Development version".

I'm on OSX. I was able to setup and use the Trezor in Safari (I don't use Safari generally), but it won't work in Chrome (my main browser). It asks me to install the browser plugin, which I do, but then that message doesn't go away.
Chrome is not supported on Mac OS X at the moment.

Aren't you using Chromium by any change? (not Chrome)

does it show Account #1 loading ... loading ... on repeat, never finishing? if so, the backend of the website hung up and needs, ehm, to be turned off and on again or do you receive an error message?

No, not loading. Just "disconnected". And when I use "forget my device" it never recognizes it. No error message. Nope, Google Chrome 37.0.2062.124. This is what the log shows ["error","Wed, 08 Oct 2014 13:49:00 GMT","[app] Loading http transport failed",{"cors":"rejected"}] ["log","Wed, 08 Oct 2014 13:49:01 GMT","[trezor] Loaded plugin 1.0.5"] That "http transport failed" isn't indicative of a problem, I see that during normal operation.

I don't think that issue is going on right now because mine is working fine...

What reasons would you guys have to use multibit HD (once they have trezor support), over just using the mytrezor webwallet? The webwallet has enough functionality for me alone...
