It should be mentioned that any of the attacks currently being discussed will defeat most on-line banking sites and on-line payment systems, web shopping, etc.

If your machines are this compromised you probably should not being doing any kind of money (or personal information ) management with them.

Yes I exactly agree with this, I was just asking hypothetically, just to get a message how safe the trezor really is for myself and for the others..

Is the backend of the site down again?   I cannot see my balance or transactions...it just keeps endlessly refreshing...

Will there be a Christmas promotion / campaign with reduced prices for TREZOR / TREZOR bundles?

That would be quite cool! Wink

I have read some pages back that there was not going to be  a christmas offer.

They have released the new offer to buy three trezors with a reduced price.

On Ubuntu the development version of Electrum works fine with Trezor. I run Ubuntu in a virtual machine on my Windows 7 system. If you have some Linux skills or want to gain them, it's not a big deal to build it from source and get it running.

Thanks, I know about this. Unfortunately I don't know much about Linux and Ubuntu and don't have time to dive into the learning about this at the moment. I will just wait for something on windows to come out.

A little up for the topic.

Ordered 2 pieces on the 28th.

Received today.

Setup took 10 minutes.

Bitcoins in safe place now.

Also received a Trezor today ... much smaller a device than I imagined ... not that is a problem .. but god the display is small.

Does feel a bit weird trusting my BTC to this little device via a website.

Congrats to the both! Smiley I felt the same, by trusting all my savings to this device, but somehow I got to feel very secure! You will get there as well, no worries! Smiley

True, having now tried every permutation I can think of ... sending/receiving ... trezor plugged in/trezor unplugged ... tell the site to forget the device etc.. I can see good security is built in.

Yeah, that's true!  Cheesy

But as one of the early trezor users I can assure you, that all of my BTC are still there!
I'm loving it!  Grin

Here soon I am looking at buying a Trezor, have you found any bugs or issues with it?

The device itself is perfect. Just needs more software to support it.

None that I know of. The software is improving rapidly. In the first release you couldn't sign messages with your trezor account but lately they have implemented that as well.
You can't assign names to addresses AFAIK, but that's already on the to-do list.

Thanks for the quick response!
I recently had to wipe and reformat my hard drive so I lost some BTC but it wasn't too much, maybe when I buy the Trezor, that will save me from that next time.
Thank you
