Everyone should join chat.cryptochat.io We have a channel there that is directly tied to our slack channel, but also you will have direct access to many anon coins and their Devs if this interests anyone.

A big thank you to the devs, and particularly s3v3nh4cks for having covered the incident that happen recently with the budget system.

Concerning zcash, I think it's a total scam. the 6 people trusted setup, can't check the full distribution, miner/wallet unavailability, most pools withdraw are over 1 zec (only 200 the first day) so good luck getting one out, the people behind it (who is who of the scammer crowds + 20% of the mining to the devs) and the idea of creating an anonymous coin while having the devs public about it... and if all of this wasn't enough it's a private corporation. At least they know how to hype it...

However, there maybe some value to extract to reinvest in Dnet Grin, something like nicehash can be useful as it pay in btc, but forget the jack pot unless you have the power to mine a block fast (50+ rx4XX).

And for those interested in joining another p2p decentralized fully encrypted open source chat there is a bitmessage channel: name : Dnet address: BM-2cWpJYUgCgPvyZ2ciVrmptu38GkChy4oyS

edit: for those interested in the zcash mining

http://zcash.nicehash.com/getting_started (miner)

a bat with: nheqminer -u yourbtcaddress.1 -p password -t 1 (number of core).

When the people of the world will get that covid was intentionally released to frame china, steal the election from trump, assure massive bail outs and foster the forced vaccination agendas...they will forget, like 911, wmds in irak, uss liberty or pedogate.

BTC is out of control, but DNET was also chosen over others in market trading, all good, no hype no nonsense anon continues!

might do collection over the weekend and new mn allocation.. its always fun to grow this network..

someone is unloading 127586.05293672 for like 1 BTC now.. it will be absorbed.. thats like 12 master nodes , let it fall to teh right hands...

It's only going up, be silly to sell atm. Day traders may sell for bit of profit but soon rise again.

Looks like all the anon coins are rising with the release of ZCash. Boyz, let's at least consider the zcash tech. We would rocket all the way to Pluto if incorporated.

Woah! what happened to the price.volume at trex! Considering we don't even have formally announced anon tech, interest in the coin is solid.

Maybe its zcash/zcoin hype effect?

yeah, it's great that the volume has picked up a little... it may draw interests from others exchange. One big step will be listing on polo!

I think Polo is tough until there is some visible progress on the coin's anon tech.

I think we are seeing many new investors right now. People are realizing that this coin has great potential.

There's a lot of talk on slack and I'll be posting some psuedo-interview that was conducted with the dev by a new member there later today.

P.S. I've been offline all of last week as I've been working an average of 16+ hours per day on a work project. Not finished yet still. Cry

has long invested in DNET, when it earns interest on investment returns, but it seems prices fell back.

For those who missed it, here are some slack questions answered by s3v3nh4cks (1 of 3 main devs) in the last few days: (last question was answered by me)

Quote
Q: Hey s3v3nh4cks can you answer a few DarkNet questions?
1. How many Master Nodes are there now?
2. What is the Master Node reward?
3. What is the goal/logic for the future target number of Master Nodes?
4. Will the Master Node reward change over time?
5. What are the technical requirements for a Master Node?
6. Does each Master Node require a dedicated IP?

Q1 & Q2: http://178.254.23.111/~pub/DN/DN_masternode_payments_stats.html
Q3: The Masternode rewards are controled by the ration of masternodes vs. the total coincap at that moment, if you look at the OP on BCT, you can see more information.
Q4: Yes, it changes moment to moment because it is variable.
Q5: A vps with 10gb storage, and 512 mb ram and a astatic IP will work for now, but the resource requirements will grow over time
Q6: Yes, a unique IP is required for each masternode.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1262920.msg13067779#msg13067779

Our Reward mechanism, is based on a seesaw, we estimated that 1/3 of the coins would be held by masternodes, 1/3 would be on an exchange and 1/3 would be staking. So the mechanism is controlled by the ratio of masternodes holding 10k coin each vs. the total coin cap. as the number of masternodes increases, the masternode rewards decrease and the staking increases, but when all things are equal 1/3'rds Masternodes will be slightly more profitable to offset the cost of running a masternode. When there are not enough masternodes, then they get more of the block reward, to encourage more masternodes. we wanted a healthy network of Masternodes and stakers, so this mechanism ecourages an equal amouunt exist to recieve optimum rewards.

Quote
Q: What does DarkNet mean by staking? Staking is different from the coins set aside for a Master Node?
Masternodes are used for services on the network, and are rewarded a fee for their participation. They hold a collateral of 10k Dnet to be eligible. Staking is equivalent to PoW mining. It secures the network by solving hashes. When a Staker finds a block it is distributed based on the mechanism used (we use a variable seesaw based on the coins held in each masternode vs the total coincap. Darknet also is PoS 3.0.

Quote
Q: So for staking you need to set aside 10K coins too? Also, what does "1/3 would be on an exchange" mean?
No, staking is any amount, and splits when staked. There are only 1440 stakes per day, and works the same basic way as PoW

Quote
Q: How is DarkNet better than Dash technically?
The main differences between Dash and Darknet at this moment is we are PoS and we have a custom mechanism to balance the rewards based on the conditions of the network. We have many things on the horizon, but we need help as there is only 3 of us atm.

Quote
Q: What are the limits of the proposal system? By that I mean does it determine what is on the roadmap and the priorities? What types of decisions are not controlled by Master Node votes?
We have decided that this is a community driven coin, so any proposal that is decided by voting will be followed.

Quote
Q: Was there ever a winning  proposal you refused to follow? Why?
No there hasn't been.

Quote
Q: How many master node owners vote?
So far, approx 60% or so, but we are looking at implementing a means to make it a requirement (not sure how though) to continue to get rewards

Quote
Q: I don't want the name associated with illegal activity, but I don't want it associated with Wall Street / Corporate type ideals either. Where are you guys with that?
We have left it at DarkNet, but there has been discussion of rebranding. We are focussed on creating a tool to transfer value privately and completely anonymous. We want the wallet to contain encrypted communications, and a means to do Multi-sig Escrow transfers for person to person deals.

Quote
Q: What is the max coin supply for Darknet?
jakiman: Please check this post for scheduled con supply for next 25 years.

I'm really enjoying the price rise and increase in volume at the moment.  But the best thing is this coin is still undervalued 💰💰💰💰💵💴🚄🚀🚀

i guess some peeps have found out that dnet is the most undervalued coin atm and still is even if we go up another 60% or so on brex today

owning a lot of masternodes is pure fun atm. was stressful sometimes in the past (and it maybe will be again in future) to maintain all the nodes but it was and it will be worth every minute.
thanks to the devs and all others helping to bring dnet on the road where it deserves (still a long way to go until price is realistic).

btw. not cashing out my dnet, no, no  Grin

happy halloween all
