Great! I have one major fear is that because PIVX never did a promotion campaign that later on some would be unhappy because of their lack of research and bash the coin as some kind of secret project. Some hypes, other develops !

sadly I think there is an intellectual barrier to entry to digital currencies...

What sets apart PIVX from other digital currencies? (or just general info summary)

00. PIVX launched with a name called Darknet back in Feb 1 2016. It has since been re-branded to PIVX from Jan 1 2017. Same devs. Same community.
01. PIVX is an open source crypto currrency based on DASH so it inherited its core technologies such as Masternodes, Private transactions and Instant Transactions.
02. PIVX uses Blackcoin's improved Proof of Stake 3.0 protocol instead of Proof of Work. So it is more efficient in keeping the network secure than PoW.
03. PIVX had no ICO nor existing pre-mine as the initial amount (60k) to start the masternode network upon launch was publicly burnt at block 279917.
04. PIVX is based on Bitcoin 0.10.x core (and currently going to 0.13.2) which means it is more up to date than nearly every other PoS digital currencies out there.
05. PIVX employed a professional media company for its new logo (complete) and website development (go live ETA end of Feb / March 1)
06. PIVX uses an innovative variable Seesaw Reward Balance System that dynamically adjusts its reward to masternodes and staking nodes.

All very good points and all but the real value of this coin is going to be in it's vision IMO. If we can balance having a good heart, changing the world & profiting enough to stay in business I believe this coin can do some very big things.

The mere concept of using the block-reward tax as a way to fund things both for PIVX and for the world is insane.. from this concept you can literally make anything happen from hiring full-time staff to funding a donation campaign in Africa... insane I tell you.

One day it will be up there with XMR, SDC & soon to be Safecoin. Dash only has a coinjoin tech thus isn't exactly 100% private. We'll need to upgrade one day to ENSURE we have optimal privacy tech in place. But for now the market cap is still small and we have some time until that is a required feature.

Good news for large masternode or stake node owners! Looks like AutoCombine feature is being added for next wallet release.
Basically, it'll automatically combine coin transactions below a specified threshold by sending them back to the same address.

This is a must have feature for both masternode owners & stakers that end up with tons of dust payments over time.
Each combine transaction will incur a (tiny) transaction fee but that's totally worth it to avoid spacebar smashing!
