Third, solar staker. I have shipped 4 of the CHIPs to community members willing to contribute to development and testing. I have a 5ht that I intended to ship, but appears to be faulty from the manufacturer. I have a 6th that is my own testing unit and is the one I have reported on in this thread on more than one occasion. We had been dealing with CHIPs dropping wifi signal and writing errors to the NAND memory used for storage. Both of these issues do seem have been resolved by revisions to the firmware but, of course time was spent in troubleshooting and communicating with the manufacturer. We do now have EverGreenCoin daemons running reliably on the CHIP hardware and staking EverGreenCoin. Last week I did receive my first shipment of solar panels and eagerly anticipate the ordered batteries. I do fully intend to have the Foundation's coins staking via solar power and faucet paymnets sent via solar power and a beta solar staker in the near future.

To add to the work Steven's been doing with getting CHIPs distributed I've been working on the web interface for the wallet as well as methods to automate most of the setup and upgrades of the system. Unfortunately I've also been seeing some wifi and Broadband issues (I was hoping to share some of this a while ago).

I'll try and post a few more screenshots over the coming days/weeks. I'm hoping I can get a demo system (with certain features limited/disabled) working soon which I'll make available to parts of the community in a staggered release.  All feedback is appreciated.

How did the community meetup go? - sorry I missed it again - we were out hiking (in the cold) and it took a little longer than expected. Also, do you need a webcam and microphone for google hangouts? If so, I may have struggled.

The meeting was good. I have been meaning to type up a brief summary of it and post it. I will do so today.

No need for apologies, a webcam, or a mic! I know everyone has busy schedules. If it would help anyone to attend by me moving it forward some, I can an hour or two. At the present starting time (17:00 GMT) it makes it 9 A.M. for the west coast states here and 10:30 P.M. for the community members in India. I do my best to balance it for everyone that lets me know they wish to attend.

There is group text chat in google hangouts, so no, webcam or mic is not needed. In fact most the participants only use the group chat.

Again, I will get the brief summary from the meeting posted today.

5pm, is actually normally a good time IMO - trouble is that my weekends are usually a bit fully loaded - we seem to make almost every second count =)

Great job here. Developer and community demonstrate that this is one of the most undervalued currencies with the greatest potential that I currently see in the market.

The patience here is the key, I believe that 2017 will bring new markets for EGC that will offer greater liquidity.

I share the sentiment with you - price will hopefully rise later this year - but I think it needs to stay low for the mid-term, the coins are in too few hands for now which probably keeps the value lower - with a lower value - more people can get involved easily and help the long term growth of the coin

70% of coins are in 25 wallets, and 96% in 100 wallets, I think the current lower price will help spread the distribution.

Do not trust that either. For example, coins like Dash have 50% of the float in masternodes. Radium more than half in stacking, EGC can have 60% of the coins in strong hands, and the rest in exchangers.

When the big pump & dump of August, no one thought we would go back to the prices now, however here we are again, with a most mature currency.

If it is finally listed in poloniex or android wallet release..., it will be late to buy cheap. I keep a small handful, and I think it's worth waiting some time to see what happens. Selling here, I think might be wasting a great opportunity.

I have been filling out the Polo request for months ago to include EGC. Generally they want liquid currencies, and EGC has a very interesting daily volume, its market cap, has been increasing, and the community grows step by step.

We are in rank 192, the first time I bought EGC capitalized 30K $, now 200K.

If this progression is lied, during 2017 we will hit a market cap higher than a Million $.

No one can guess the future evidently, but it is a good idea to plant a few EGC seeds. His ideas & philosophy are great.

Would be great to hear how they plan to sustain the payment plan - if I put $100 of EGC into the plan and reinvest it in the 10 day doubler over 100 days (10 times), i'd come out with $102,400 worth - if the value stays the same - but they would have to be buying all that in EGC, meaning the market cap and price would be exploding. Return would be closer to $1,000,000 when you factor the inflated price in. If a lot of people also invest $100, we'll soon run out of EGC supply.
