Went to deposit funds on Thursday but used CVS Moneygram instead of Walmarts
due to location and time. All was well until I got my confirmation email. It said the
funds got sent to "exchange" account instead of the # I put in there. What the frack?
Went back and forth in emails with MtGox and Bitinstant and finally have MtGox saying that
they've located the deposit and frozen the account but are waiting on the reversal
and redeposit to my account ID. Sadly Bitinstant support seems to be ignoring me
now which really makes me sad. I and family/friends have exchanged quite a few
bitcoins through Bitinstant and MtGox but have always used Walmarts moneygram.
Note to self, don't use CVS anymore. Was wondering if someone might be able to
help me with this? Been several days and the items I wanted to purchase
aren't even up for auction anymore so it'd be really swell if someone could help me
get my $480.00 back >.<

You need to send Yankee a private message giving him your information but he normally posts on this thread almost daily and I have not seen anything on this thread in over a week. And its not because you used CVS.  It is Bitinstant.  Do not use them.  Their company has not responded to anybody in over a week on this forum.  Maybe thru private messages but their support is a complete joke.  I came on here to see if they were up and running again but it looks like things have gotten worse so I need to find an alternative too.  I was thinking ziggap or bitfloor.

I saw the message that btc-e.com was fully funded this morning. I  just checked and they have $1 reserves there. I hope a bunch of people got paid. I would suggest contacting them and having it sent to Mt. Gox instead. My order from 2/19 was funded yesterday.

BitInstant's btc-e reserves appeared to be fully funded this morning (~30g USD), and you could select in the menu to send to btc-e, but now btc-e is down, so that option is off.

At least they are not taking payments for broken methods any more.

How does one go about checking their reserves at any particular exchange?   Seems like that would be private info.

It has been OVER a week and still my 480 has not shown... Bitinstant continues to tell me mtgox has my funds while mtgox assures me bitinstant has them..... Bitinstant is a complete scam and my next stop is better business bureau and to post scam reports across the web.... Rachel from bitinstant support has done nothing but lie and run me in circles... DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY FOR ANY REASON!!!! It will be the last time u see it.

Do they ask for ID when sending a moneygram, or is the process anonymous?

I just received my 500.00 order that I put it on 2/20/2013. Bitinstant went through some sort of trouble and lacked communication and honesty. However they are looking into resolving issues. I would email either rachel or charles about your money. I will jump on bitinstants back again once I see that they are back 100% again. Thank you bitinstant.

Has anyone had a successful Dwolla-to-(whatever) transfer process using Bitinstant, which didn't require manual processing of some kind? Is this location/verification issue a Dwolla problem, a Bitinstant problem, or both?

Out of  6 or 7 Dolla to MtGox I did have one go through automatically.  All the others had 'verification failed', but they were promptly fixed by Yaankee.

I have done about four or five Cash to MtGox go through instantly.  I just did one about half an hour ago.  That entails going to walmart and at the money center filling out a form called 'MoneyGram ExpressPayment Service'.  The blue form.  You have to use the BitInstant site to set up the transfer, and they give you some numbers to put on the blue form.  Hand the cash and the form to the girl at the Walmart Money center, and a minute later it's in your MtGox account.  She might ask you what the bill is for, just say it's a condo fee or some bullshit like that.

LIke I said I just did it half an hour ago and it worked fine.  For a $500 transfer, you have to pay $503.95, and you get $480 into MtGox.

When I last used BitInstant, it automatically defaulted to ZipZap.  What's the difference between the two?

Hello.

I sent money through your service about a week ago, and have yet to see my funds pop up in my bitstamp.net account. I shared some emails with one of your support reps and just want to make sure you guys push my order through.
