An “Unconfirmed” transaction persists from my attempt to transfer bitcoins from my Bitcoin.org wallet to SR. I've tried all the ideas I have. The recipient, SR, said “...not sure why but your wallet is not sending that transaction to the network, so it has yet to be recorded on the blockchain, and therefore yet to be confirmed.”, but they couldn't help.

Question: How can I Reset the transaction? I even thought of establishing a wallet at Multibit, because they support an easy to use Reset, but haven't been able to effect a valid Export/Import to establish a wallet there.

Below is the report of the transaction as displayed in the Bitcoin.org wallet:

Status: 0/unconfirmed
Date: 3/5/2013 12:48
To: Silk Road 1wfWY8vo4iUW3iK894fM45rcEkVf8pJtC
Debit: -0.0595 BTC
Net amount: -0.0795 BTC
Transaction ID: 694ed127aa7b7107b3e8bac25a1dc12d2aae9759da666b04bf109f28f2abb4a8

PS: I've hacked at this as best I can, but whatever knowledge/skills I have aren't up to this. I'm an old timer—entered the computing community in 1961, and am heartened by Tor, Bitcoins and the new openness and stunning possibilities on the horizon.

Thanks,   JAY

I am about to switch from mining litecoins with my 2500k to a 7870 using either cgminer or reaper and I was just curious if you guys think a 500w psu would be able to power a 7870 and a core 2 duo machine with nothing else plugged in? Because if so, I'll just keep my 2500k mining on a seperate machine. and put the new card im getting into the old machine I have.

Or I could always swap my 1kw psu into the gpu miner and put the 500w one onto the 2500k machine

yes a 500w psu should do the trick for 1 card.

I used Bitinstant to fund money from a Walmart moneygram to my account at Bitstamp and although it said my transaction went through there is no money at Bitstamp. I also got an error when it was at the point for Bitinstant to release the funds to Bitstamp that looks troubling (see below).  Also since yesterday Bitstamp is not showing available on the Bitinstant website.  I have en existing ticket in but would appreciate if you could bump it up in priority and escalate the ticket to resolution. Ticket # 3144 at Zip Zap (i submitted a ticket for help at bitinstant but that went nowhere).

USRAY, you said you escalated my ticket, but I still haven't received any emails or information. Is there anywhere I can check the status of my support ticket? It seems like I may have a separate issue than a lot of posters here, since I was buying a VouchX coupon, not MtGOX.

URSAY, can you please expedite my ticket? It's been 6 days since I made this transaction, and I'm losing a. Lot of money day after day as this issue fails to be resolved.

Did the initial moneygram transaction over 16 hours ago, got zipzap confirmation nearly instantly. Used the Livehelp form on the bitinstant website and haven't gotten any response, that was over 8 hours ago. This is a rapidly changing market, and I'm assuming that this slow service will ultimately cause me to lose value in BTC since it's risen over $20 since I placed the order, I don't want to get price from the peak of the market when the value is starting to drop, I need it to be fluid so I know I'm not being ripped off. If there's a simple refund method I'd also be curious to hear that.

As are many here, I'm sure BitInstant showing a support presence right now is a relief.  I'm also sure my question is on the minds of many as well.

What is the ratio of flawless transactions versu transactions requiring CS intervention?  This is a question only BI Support can answer and, at this point in time, there isn't much to gain by being untruthful.  Soooooo, how about it URSAY?

I'm a believer in being truthful.

If I had the numbers I'd share but I don't know for sure.

Bitcoin moves FAST.  But I'm confident we can catch up soon.  Smiley

I'm digging your logic and thank you for taking the time.  At present, which approach to buying BTC with USD would give a customer the best odds at realizing success without a helping hand, or hip-check in some cases?

Still waiting for a PM here.  All I need is a coupon for my money to replace the one that was used by Bitinstant.

I could always use tips for diapers and formula!  Smiley

no word from live agent either.

If there's a simple refund method I'd also be curious to hear that.

i could have done a bank transfer and had the BTC in 24 hours elsewhere, i am currently at 15 hours and it took me 5 hours to get a response from 'liveagent' who claimed i would have my BTC in the next couple hours.  As it is getting later and later and BTC prices plummet, i cannot help but wonder if i will receive them in 2 days bought at the peak and received at half what i paid

Thank you URSAY for your help so far. I am however still concerned as I haven't received any emails or any information letting me know... A) What is going on? B) Will I get bitcoins based on the price of bitcoins when I purchased them, or based on whatever price bitcoins may be whenever BitInstant decides to transfer me bitcoins? This is a concern of mine as I was under the impression per the big orange font on BitInstants website saying "Pay for Your Bitcoins in Under an Hour". C) Is this just a volume issue and if so why is BitInstant still taking orders? Wouldn't this just cause more issues for what looks to be a long list of people waiting on their bitcoins. D) Is my money even safe?

I hate to keep bringing this up but I am going out of town tomorrow and would like this issue resolved ASAP. Any information you can provide will be helpful, not know anything about the situation just makes me feel like I have been scammed and my money is just gone for good. I will continue to be nervous until given information regarding what is happening, why it is happening, what is the resolution, and when will this be resolved. Again, thank you for the hard work you have been putting in so far.

Hello Debug,

Charlie, this Gox coupon we provided is expired.

MTGOX-USD-(removed)

Mark, please direct all future questions and comments to my CEO Charlie at c(removed)m. Only he can help you now. Best of luck!

---
Sincerely,
Seth

Seriously?  It takes the CEO to reissue an expired coupon?  Sad

Just bought $1500 worth for BTC12 at 5 p.m. EST today. Bitinstant sent them promptly within 30 mins; I just got the 3rd set of coins (I paid $500x3, so 4 at a time) as I am writing this. A++++ SELLER WOULD HIT IT AGAIN.

Still waiting on confirmations, though Tongue
