[miner]

new version Burst-miner v1.160407
https://github.com/Blagodarenko/miner-burst/releases/download/v1.160407/miner-burst-1.160407.zip

+ improved performance to 80-100%
* bugs fixed
- parameter "UseSorting" deleted
+ added parameter "WinSizeX": 80 for console size
+ added parameter "WinSizeY": 60 for console size

also, you may need to install Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 (x64)

https://github.com/Blagodarenko/miner-burst

Works great so far, 100% improvment in read speed.
Thank you.

Here's a video comparing it versus the old version
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaoSLzRu8kM

Can I have your donation address, I'd like to send some funds to you.

atcrowdfunding.html improvements

Apart from those suggestions, I have another three.

When I press "Deploy AT", it just says "Error sending transaction" - without giving any reason.

Is this perhaps wrong:
The "AT Creation" will cost you 10 BURST.
and the costs are related to the "Goal Amount"?

Then what is the fee structure? If there is one, then mention it on /atcrowdfunding.html

EDIT: Seemingly not, it looks like the amount is hardcoded 10 BURST?

But why then my "Deploy AT" is failing?

It IMHO really needs a better error message than just "Error sending transaction".

And ... why not allow 1 week also? For small projects like mine that could be enough.

Good ideas?

But why then my "Deploy AT" is failing?

Suddenly my AT ... got accepted.

I had changed the "Name", but that was all.
What are the rules for what can be input as a "Name" for a crowdfunding?

New question:
Quote
"minActivation": "700000000",
(Just speculation) does the 2 weeks only start running when the first pledge > 7 BURST has been done?

Thanks!

"Let's have @altsheets ChainCountDown server ported to BURST"

looked over the page, not 100% sure on what it does

Thanks for asking.

Let us look at a concrete example: "What is this useful for?"

Preparations:
  • I am running my crowdfunding now (local, web) so that everyone can give a little bit, thanks.
  • (I probably had to start the campaign by sending some 7 HZ to it)
  • With the getAccountATs (local, web) I can find out the ...
  • "nextBlock":221414  - which is (probably) the end block of my campaign

Now that I know that BURST block 221414 -and let's say ChainCountDown were already ported- ...

... I create a countdown image URL like

http://altsheets.ddns.net:8888/burst/221414.png   or
http://altsheets.ddns.net:8888/burst/221414.png?heading=crowdfund-me   or
http://altsheets.ddns.net:8888/burst/221414.png?font=Furore   or
http://altsheets.ddns.net:8888/burst/221414.png?color=939597&bgcolor=282C2F

and that creates an image similar to this one:

The cool thing obviously is ... that when you reload this page in a few hours ... that the image will be an updated one (Ctrl-Shift-Reload).
It is a toy, yes. But it's actually useful for crowdfunding campaigns, hardfork announcements, dividends payment dates, voting, etc.
- whenever you want to put emphasis on a certain moment in TIME, and in a cryptocurrency appropriate way.

TL;DR:

A blockchain aware countdown image server.

but I like BURST development so I donated you 50k

Thanks a lot. That is much appreciated.

Happy to accept it ... as a little reimbursement for all the overhead I have had
with getting to know, documenting, and helping to improve your system.
If anyone else wants to reward me for that, please also donate to my
Giveback-License address    BURST-ESVR-L2WJ-NT3Y-BWM6V. Thx.

And the campaign is finally running now - as you had requested ...

You are welcome to start a Crowdfund. Exactly for this situation we made it possible! ...

crowdfunding: "Let's have @altsheets ChainCountDown server ported to BURST"

--> now ... whoever wants to contribute ... feel free to pledge a litte:

Thx

 Wink

What is a "red" file? The file in the plots directory? And how do i correct that? I have allready generated new plots with no other result.

I am now generating new plots on D:

If I recall @vbcs correctly, no spaces, no "non-standard" chars (probably ASCII or some other "simple" coding)

Anything that shows in the local wallet will show in the web-wallet.
