How to quit Gambling for good?

I once had a friend who loved to gamble, but after he got the job and was always working, he never again gamble. maybe you could try to find a job, maybe it worked

You can quiet gambling for good, by just doing it its all in your mind that you can't stop and being addicted.
It a matter of time you will realize its just in your head, its just your mind that is playing you!

When gamblers are rushing towards recovering their losses or rushing for making their greed into reality, they never understand their situations and will not prefer to leave the gambling. Only after seeing losses from people visit to quit gambling.

I could agree to this,responsibility may change the mentality of the person and eventually could put an end to the careless behavior.However,there are rare cases always.

The best thing is to find some distraction. I think later that more people will stop gambling. You need do things that you like.
Find a sport or hobby that you like to do with your friends or family. It is much cheaper than gambling.

I did a typo error which made complete different meaning to my post. Now I have corrected it, no more contradiction with my comment. Here we can go:

You can just stop gambling if you really want its all in your head, this is because of the point that you have to believe in yourself.
You can do everything if you really believe it and also do it, do not only think about something just do it!

Never listen to your inner thoughts, it will always induce your emotions to get more greedy. If you do not obey your mind then time will throw you away from gambling after losses with huge debits. It's better quitting before things go worst.

It is true, if we're already doing gambling all the time or even every day, then it will be difficult to leave the gambling. Because in our minds always thought that if we win big in gambling we certainly don't need to do the job is so big and we could have fun because it has such a huge money from victory in gambling. But I think if we're already addicted to gambling we thought it would be nice to make a good strategy, because it's the only lock to make the victory and defeat fire retardant.

Maybe you can motivate yourself by targeting what's your money for. Like me I need money for my college so i promise to myself to not gambling anymore and save my money for my college.

You just need to look towards your family and ask yourself, is your money really for gambling or to nurture the lives of your family???

Just block the gamblings sites in your router and in your hosts file. Use ublock extension also. I think that will stop you for sure.

I think not only online website has gambling. How about in real life.. I think its better to choose another games to forget gambling site.
The best is play online games like League of legends and Dota 2. I tried it many times to my self and now i never play in any gambling sites. Also here in  real life..

have a job will not help you forgetting gamble as long as you have a desire to make money very fast and easy.
play non-gambling games and reading a books might will help you forgetting gamble i agree with this, it's should be an effective theraphy to quit gamble.
and start a new life without gambling. but still the most important you need to do is having a desire to quit gamble hardly!

Another option if you are gambling online is getting rid of your computer and smart phone.  I know it can seem like something you can't live without, but I know people who do.  Obviously this wouldn't work if you need a computer for your job.

I think the way you think, also quite good. but gambling will not be lost in the mind before the gambler really bored against gambling. The way will be futile if they accumulate in the environment and still just thinking about gambling. Let alone those who never get a big victory in gambling, is sure he will be very difficult to stop in the gambling. If you inign stop in the gambling permanently.
