I think the only option is to ask for exclusion from every gambling site, don't have access to bank transfers etc. Also search for medical help. Gambling can become an illness, and if so it should be treated by a professional.

Well quitting gambling for good is really hard. Requires dedication. I mean if you really mean it, you can put yourself off the grid, not link your credit card accounts and all that. Me, I learned eventually to control myself from gambling everything as I only have what I need in my pocket, everything in excess goes to a bank account that is not connected to anything online. So meaning if I gamble whatever I have on hand, I won't be eating anything LOL!

Well I think you can better just do the second step you suggested instantly because I found out it really helps people to stop with their addictions, its not only for gambling addicts usable.
