Sebastian Vettel is rumored to take the palce of Helmut Marko at Red Bull when the big one will leave
It is just a small rumor but something bigger.

During the Saudi Arabia Gp, Helmut MArko himself spoken about Vettel as his dream successor.

When names come out like this something is ongoing under the surface.

Ralf Schumacher in his statement said that Hamilton was on the brink of early retirement. He said that Hamilton was in a bad morale and desperate to face his car and was deciding to exit F1 early. He said that Hamilton's situation was not developing, and failing to handle the pressure at Ferrari, and made him not enjoy being in F1.

But I think what Ralf said is excessive. It is natural that Hamilton still has difficulty adjusting to his car at the beginning of the season. So far he has driven Mercedes, and Ferrari has different characteristics from the car he usually drives. Indeed, there may be some difficulties that he is facing now, but I think that he is able to face it and make good improvements later. So it is too early to conclude that he will make an early retirement just because of facing problems with his car.

But I think is better to have a well performing car during the race over super fast car for 1 lap.
For example Mclaren now even if is the fastest car on 1 lap in the race they are not so ahead.

If teams can earn 2/10 per lap they can fight them.

After seeing FP1 at the Jerez circuit today for MotoGP this weekend, it seems that Marquez will remain dominant on Saturday and Sunday because he is really able to make better lap times compared to other riders. But because Jerez is a fairly short circuit, of course the level of competition will also look fierce because Jerez does not have a straight track that is so long. Saying they are better at race pace than Mclaren isn't really realistic, we have seen a few races so far this season and in none of them Ferrari looked faster than Mclaren, sure the gap might be small but it is not Ferrari ahead, I can still see Mclaren being faster. Their Saturday is the part they need development without a doubt, but they are not doing that badly neither, they need to reconsider how they are going to improve.

Mclaren is great but Norris got a bit of unlucky stretch so far, they need to see him do better, they expect him to be the champion, and so far Piastri has ben the champion level driver.

So when you are not doing good there, the pressure is much higher than what you are facing at Mercedes. Nice!  Would love to see him back in F1 in any kind of capacity.  He's one of the good guys in the sport even tho it didn't really show when he was younger.  He seemed arrogant back then with the finger showing after winning a race.    But I didn't really see it that way as everybody could see he was just really happy out there.

I hope we see him become a team principal too one day.  He was the kind of guy who'd hang out in front of the monitors when he was out of the race.

Another win today for Marc Marquez.
With this one he won 5 of 5 sprint races so far.
(And 4 races over 5, with 1 lost cause he felt while he was leading)

His brother once again ended in second spot with Bagnaia on 3rd spot.

The leaderboard has the 2 brothers on the top now.

Hamilton is one of the greatest drivers in F1 history with 7 world championships. For an iconic brand like Ferrari, the presence of a star like Hamilton will be a great advantage both in terms of sporting success and marketing. Ferrari has not had a drivers' champion for a long time.

Hamilton is a driver who knows how to win championships and can manage a race under pressure. I think they believe that Hamilton's experience can take Ferrari back to the top. I think Sainz was very good, but the Ferrari management saw the experience that Hamilton would bring as more valuable. Ferrari sees Hamilton as an investment, not only to increase success on the track, but also to increase visibility off the track.

You're right that Ferrari is whole another thing, but I would compare them with Man United. Team with glorious history who are struggling a lot in recent decade. And that Hamilton signing, there was lot of hype. But no matter how great Lewis is, after he is already beyond his prime. And it's not everything in his hands if he don't have car to fight for title.
When Ferrari signed multiple time champions like Alonso or Vettel, hype was also big, but we know how it ended. Though, at least they were in real fight for title.

I also doubt Quartararo in reaching the podium for today's race because competing against more Ducatis in the hands of great riders who are close to Quartararo on the grid is very difficult especially Yamaha's power is still not enough to make Quartararo go fast in today's race. But if Quartararo is able to get one of the podiums in today's race, I think it will be quite a surprising result because so far the MotoGP podium has rarely been filled by Japanese bikes, but for today's race I expect a much fiercer competition than yesterday's Sprint.

We could be wrong about our doubt of Quartararo, he is now on 2nd position with 9 laps remaining after he could be the leader of the race before Alex overtook the first place.
Now Pecco is trying to overtake his position and high likely it will happen soon, maybe Quartararo will only try to get the last podium (3rd) but there is Vinales on 4th now and may also overtake him later.
Bad for Marc as he made a mistake too early which made him crashed although he could back to the race and now struggling to get at least point on today's race.
This situation is again an advantage for Alex as currently overtaking his big brother on the standings with 5 points in front of his big brother.
I'm curious what Marc can do today, will he able to get at least 1 point?

Edit: Surprising...Quartararo is able to keep the 2nd position. Pecco is not even able to get closer to him. Is it a sign that Yamaha is already coming back to the competition?
Congrats for Alex for his first MotoGP victory and welcome back to Quartararo, hope to see much more interesting competition this season.

first motogp victory for alex marquez, congratulations to him. he showed a very good race, after making his move on quartararo on lap 11 and it lasted until the end... showing his very good performance this season. and this victory also made him temporarily lead the world championship this season, with a difference of 1 point from his brother, marc marquez who had to crash in this race and made him only finish in 12th. it was an unsatisfactory result from this '8-time world champion'. but i'm sure this race was not so disappointing for him since this was his brother's first victory in motogp and i'm sure he is proud of it.

I really dont follow MotoGP at all, is worth to see it? I follow F1 only but the times i want to start to see and follow MotoGp i feel like it was boring and the bikes were more distant between the top teams and the bottom ones more than in F1 car diference.
