~snip~

The 2021 season for MotoGP has indeed ended with a very diverse and varied collection of victories.
So next year, with the addition of five rookies for each independent team or satellite team, who has the chance to get the most wins in the 21 races that will be held by Dorna Huh

There were a lot of surprises in this two-year race. Competition in racing is not dominated by one or two riders only. There are a lot of surprises in every race and it's very exciting. It was very different during the marquez and valentino rossi era. Gamblers may have a little trouble guessing. But Yamaha dominance, Ducati is still the favorite bike champion even with different riders. Honda, suzuki and KTM in the next order they are not as good as Yamaha and Ducati. But with this year's performance, it's a warning to the championship team, Ducati, KTM, Honda, and Suzuki continue to grow they continue to improve the bike.

Yamaha has to improve especially the engine, if they don't have a stronger engine in the 2022 season I don't think they can compete for the world championship title. Fabio, like Marc, has always been able to hide the weaknesses of Yamaha and Honda.

My favourite for next season is definitely Bagnaia and Ducati, I'm looking forward to the first races to see which manufacturer has worked best over the winter.

I agree with you. I feel like Merc are still the powerhouse going into this year. But I am eager to see how much Ferrari can improve after their shakeup.

If we can have another major racing org alongside Merc and Red Bull, that would be fascinating. But this seems highly unlikely. Because even if Ferrari manages to get a good enough car, they lack a driver like Hamilton or Max.

But I would hope that Ferrari will bring better placements compared to last year.
Lerlerc is good enough to fight against those two, not because he is a superstar like Max or a GOAT level driver like Hamilton but because he has the courage to do so and he knows how things work, Lando is the same in that regard. There is this "driver gene" in some people and they know what they have to do and when they have to do it so sometimes we see these people come up and be awesome. Right now, with the "new" generation we have max, charles, lando, russell being easily the four horseman of the future and I feel like we are going to see them dominate the future for sure, even if not all of them wins a championship, they will always be "there".
I am fine with 2 vs 2 by the way, like mercedes vs red bull, and along that ferrari vs mclaren which makes it fun to watch those places as well. At least it is not "clear" who will be third team, it may change at any given race.

I agree with you. There is no denying that Leclerc is a very good and smart driver.
But I don't think he is up to the level of Hamilton or Max. But he is surely on the B-Tier drivers like Lando Norris or so.

But the future of F1 seems quite competitive. Hamilton will be nearing the end of his career and after that, maybe Max will take his spot and will be challenged by Lando, Russell, or someone else. Let's see how time rolls out and what the future of F1 holds for us viewers and fans.

What a surprise, why Gasly? I almost can't imagine it, Russell will have to prove himself next season whether he can deliver top performances in a top team all year round, but I wouldn't put it past him to stand up to the pressure, especially with Hamilton as a team mate 🤔.

Honda didn't do themselves any favours by developing and only focusing on Marc Marquez, the bike is very difficult to ride and as vut as no rider other than Marquez gets to ride the Honda well, not even Marquez when he is not 100% fit.
That's true and that is an expression of fact that has been seen by HONDA in every MotoGP race that has taken place, so the disadvantage is that Honda considers Marquez too much to the exclusion of others.

Yes, but don't be wrong in judging that Yamaha was able to win the world title through the Quartararo rider, while Ducati was able to win the best team champion and also the best constructors champion because they have many motorbikes on the track and also have more engine power than Yamaha, so for this year not only Ducati, KTM, Honda, and Suzuki to continue to develop, but Yamaha itself must also develop to increase engine power

Hamilton is one of the best drivers of all time in F1 and he has aged. But even though he has aged you know,, he is still one of the, if not the best driver right now.
There will be rumors about him retiring but I personally think that he still has 2 or 3 years left in him. But also, he would want to retire while he is at his best so I think the decision relies on what he thinks what's best.

First of all i don't really think that Hamilton will retire. He is not that old yet with 36 years for a race driver and i would say he could compete at the highest at least 4 or 5 more years, just look at Alonso and how well he did. In the end hamilton decides for himself if he wants to keep on racing or if he wants to quit. Rosberg quit immediately after he won the championship back in 2016 and maybe hamilton quits now after he lost that championship in such a dramatic way. Maybe he is also afraid that Mercedes won't be in such a strong position now with the new cars and he does not want to risk it to drive for the positions 8 to 12 or so.

What seriously? This is actually pretty big news given that Hamilton will be able to drive the new 2022 F1 car next season. Hamilton is one of those drivers that are rare to come by- with his sheer amount of talent and experience, we will definitely be missing out his overtakes and talent on the grid.

To be honest, I am quite surprised that Mercedes considered Pierre Gasly as his replacement in the event that Hamilton retires. But in retrospect, Gasly had proved his talent on the grid along with an inferior car. He consistently places around either p4-p7 on every race along with his teammate Tsunoda.

I do agree that he won't retire at all, I feel like he will come back with 100% fire in his heart. It was a bad loss, literally last lap of the last race and questionable one. Even though I dislike Hamilton a lot, doesn't mean that dude didn't deserve it, and after all these years of hating him for dominating and not letting anyone else win, I feel like this last championship day was the most I liked him because of all the drama and unfairness.

I agree that another 4-5 years is still possible, but even if nothing else, dude signed a contract this year for until 2023 season, so I feel like at least that much, sure this last race may have changed some love for the race he had, but I doubt it was enough to make him retire. All in all Gasly is not really that bad, I feel like he could definitely replace for a while, George and Gasly would be enough with those cars to be around the top for sure.

The problem with retiring racing drivers is their whole mindset is dedicated towards their sport, so how easily can he walk away when its in his head for life.   Theres no way he should just exit straight from the top like that, I know its like a classic saying but its such a waste of talent.   He can carry on setup or help any team he likes over many years with his reputation, experience and skills.  Alot of the sport is in the car but imo he remains a threat for many years so long as he retains the patience to put in the effort.   He could cross to Nascar or similar, thats more likely and profitable even.

I don't see a reason why Hamilton should retire. When Mercedes gave him back a winning car in the last part of the season last year he showed that he is the best driver out there winning every race (except the final one which has a lot of doubts how it ended) and showed that if he has a winning car he can win without problems.I think this year if Mercedes gives him the same performing car for the 2022 season he will surely be the 8th time F1 World Champion which will make him a living legend.

^  Yeah me too.  But if he really is, that’s maybe because he has one of the toughest competitive drivers, driving the fastest car in the grid as his main rival now.  His own team mate George Russell.  Hamilton prolly isn’t motivated enough to go have one of his toughest seasons yet.  And it’s prolly gonna be tougher than the season when Nico Rosberg won the championship.

I have been hearing about some really good improvements for the Ferrari F1 team for the next season. It looks like they have already strengthened their car a great deal. It is really good news for me as I want them to bring back their old days as of the coming season. Ferrari don't deserve to be a struggling team. For old times' sake, Ferrari need to gather strength and compete for the title hopefully. I'd really like to see what Leclerc and Sainz can do with a powerful car also.

@ILuckyGuyI this is not surprising, because Ferrari had said it before they were planning major upgrades for 2022, but the only question remains will it change their faltering fortunes. Further even I would like to see Ferrari compete for the title, because due to the partnership of Schumacher and Ferrari did I start watching F1 races, so yea it’ll be nostalgic to see them win races again.

Yamaha has to improve especially the engine, if they don't have a stronger engine in the 2022 season I don't think they can compete for the world championship title. Fabio, like Marc, has always been able to hide the weaknesses of Yamaha and Honda.
Fabio Quartararo is like no one else, he only rides according to his will and also often celebrates the same as Rossi has done in the past even though the way he rides can slightly cover Yamaha's weakness in the power position on the straight road.

Quote
My favourite for next season is definitely Bagnaia and Ducati, I'm looking forward to the first races to see which manufacturer has worked best over the winter.
I am also very confident with Bagnaia and also Ducati because the Italian manufacturer only won the MotoGP class once in 2007 together with Stoner, after that the Ducati never won again even though they have a very powerful package.

It will actually be a nostalgia if Ferrari can get back to their glory days once again. But in my opinion, that seems a bit unlikely. My POV is, yes they might have a car as good as Merc or Red Bull, but they will lack the driver having a skill like Hamilton or Max.

I'm not saying that their driver is trash, all I'm saying is that he's not up to the level of Hamilton or Max. So, that might be a drawback for them IMO.

You have a valid point. Hamilton will get a tough competition from Russell and also recently Max has been giving Hamilton quite a headache so that could also be taken under consideration.
Another thing that crosses my mind is that he might wanna retire before he starts to fade away, maybe he wants to retire while he's still at his best and that will leave a good impression in the heart of the fans.

Max is the last champion as well, and Russell will be in a Mercedes which we all know how great he was in 2020 when he first tried it, team screwed him up on that race for sure but they won't do it for a whole season. All in all I am guessing that we are going to end up with a proper three racers who will fight for a title next season if Hamilton comes back.

I really do not know where all these talks come from, dude will definitely come back, I doubt that he will end up giving up this quickly, he definitely is young enough to win at least 2-3 more championships if he is lucky, I mean not saying that he will, but he has that age gap until he is not good enough and too old. I feel like put Alonso and Vetten in Mercedes next year and they will be winning a championship too, it is a bit more about the car as well. HamVerRuss this is the new trio if you ask me.
