Pol Espargaro said:

“This year's bike is definitely very different. I don't know if it suits Marc, but if you are fast on the old bike you should be super fast on the new bike. Because it offers extra grip, which is always very helpful."

“It is safer, faster in acceleration and top speed. Better cornering speed. It's easier to stop because the rear tire stays on the ground longer.”

"I think we will get back into the game this year. I feel the bike is much more adaptable to the tires and it took us a year to understand the problems we had. The new bike builds on the solution we thought of last year. What we wanted to achieve, we have achieved."
Source: Speedweek & gpzone.id

Maybe what Pol Espargaro said could be true, but because this refers to some very good tests and performances at the start of the race in Qatar, but now that it is closer to the Race in Argentina, I also want to see how Honda performs there because of the data in the past, Honda looked very good and suited the Argentine circuit.

They must forget and have to be realistic to do not hope too much he back to the circuit. We know he was a hero in the heart of fans, but Rossi is a human have a normal life. The company also has to start looking for new talent like Rossi. We know Italy has several talents like Morbidelli, Bagnaia, and Dovizioso. Maybe this is a good time for them to start to find a place for Rossi fans, even though it's hard but impossible is nothing.
I think so too because it was very clear that it was time for Rossi to leave MotoGP like the previous Legends and in the past few days Rossi himself also revealed that he no longer misses MotoGP because he is now a GT World racer.
And the previous Rossi fans obviously have to look for other talented riders if they still like MotoGP for now.

Rossi has not left MotoGP and will be a part of it for a long time. Just in a different function, team boss. There are so many talents from our own #46 academy that all can cheer for it, like Bagnaia for example. I don't see a problem with that, but the yellow Rossi caps will definitely be around for years, but I also see at this no problem.

It's official, Marc Marquez will pass the next Grand Prix in Argentina.

it makes me happy to see Ferrari get back on track and challenge for the championship again.  I'm happy to see any team win but the Mercedes.  Lol.

I'm really happy they're back, too. The red car belongs at the front, challenging for titles. You're happy for anyone but Merc to win, I'm happy for anyone but that arrogant, entitled d*ck Verstappen to win Cheesy.
But really now that we have Ferrari back where they belong, I'd secretly like to see Alonso back at the front too, where he belongs, fighting for race wins and for the title. Doesn't look likely, though.

I think the Ferrari has the slightly faster car.

I think RB had the faster car here. I know Perez had an inspired qualifying lap, but there's no way he takes pole ahead of both Leclerc and Sainz if the RB is slower.
But it's certainly quite close, and some tracks will favour RB more, some Ferrari.

A bad news, a difficult start the season for Honda and Marquez. Whether Marquez's fate will be the same as last season is a mystery, hopefully he will recover soon. Then will they have a temporary replacement driver? Otherwise it is a big loss if he goes through many races. Marquez has a great chance to win this season because he is still able to compete.

But it's certainly quite close, and some tracks will favour RB more, some Ferrari.

I get the hate.  I hate Hamilton too no matter how good he is on the track.  The other driver I like was hated a lot too when he was still winning, Vettel.  Lol.  And Alonso was somewhat of a d*ck too in his day when he was winning.  These personalities is what really makes it all more exciting.

And I dunno man...  That Ferrari power unit looks like it could still go faster as the season passes.

Anyway..  I have a feeling Leclerc wins the Aussie GP.

It depends on the layout of the track,Ferrari was winning in the technical part of the track while on the top speed parts Redbull completely crashed it and it was just for the bravery of Verstappen that he won the race.Perez has a lot to offer I think but he needs just a bit more time, maybe he was "drunk" from the success of being the first Mexican to ever get Pole position in F1.I think the layout of the Australian GP offers both technical parts and both top speed parts,DRS should play an important role here also and I think from what I have seen in the first two races the win will be either a Ferrari or a Redbull.

I think you got it wrong...  In quali the both Ferraris were faster in sector 1, which was the part with more straights, both Red Bulls was faster at sector 2, the more technical part of the track then at sector 3, it was Perez followed by Sainz, Leclerc then Verstappen.  But we'll see in a couple of weeks.

It's a pity for the fans of Marquez, but even if he had won one or two races this year, I don't think he would have a real chance to win the world champion titel this year.

Due to the many injuries I think the career of Marc Marquez is soon over, Marc is a racer and always wants to win, and if that is no longer possible, he will soon end bis career early like Lorenzo. I think so anyway.

It was clear that sector 1 was the main place where ferrari did their best. However, it is also clear that the difference between the cars is minimal. I mean you could say ferrari is only slightly better when you look a few things, but both cars are quite on level. This is why we have such huge competition right now, before Max retired in bahrain, they had a great fight there as well and now this happens. So saying that ferrari is better there and red bull is better here would be futile, they both have their powers, but at the end of the day the races will come down to who drives better that day. At least for the time being, don't know how it will happen later on.

It is sad to say it but I think we saw the peak of his career.
He will probably never be the same and who knows if he cannot reach the top again he may retire too.

Yes, that's obviously bad news and I've also seen it on the official MotoGP website where Marquez won't be participating in the Argentine Grand Prix later and this clearly has something to do with the concussion and diplopia that came back after Crash in the mandalika during the warm-up session.
For replacement riders, there has also been some news stating that Stefan Bradl is very ready if he is called by Honda to replace Marquez in the Argentina race.

I am also very proud when I see young Indonesians win in the event, because it can also be a very good capital to go to a higher racing event because until now there are no Indonesian riders in the MotoGP class except below.
I just read the news, I admit he is still young and quite talented, but for ride in MotoGP I believe he still need for many experience in Moto3 and Moto2. I remembered he was ever ride in Moto2 for replace Dimas Eki, but he ride is not as expected, so that back ride in Moto3. I'm proud for him, i hope he returns back to moto2 and won like he was today.
It will feel better if he can move up to Moto2 by winning a lot of races in Moto3 because there is a lot of competition in Moto3 right now and it's very difficult for everyone to win.
Moreover, the potential of foreign riders is no less good than the riders in Indonesia, so it requires a very extra struggle in terms of fighting many racers in Moto3.
And I will also be quite proud if he can do well in the future.

This is basically red bull vs mercedes reversed for red bull Cheesy They are doing better on the straights right now which mercedes was beating them last year, but they are worse in the turning points which they were beating mercedes last year. In this case, Ferrari will have a slight better advantage if you ask me because there are a few very sharp corners in aussie track.

The first one is not bad but the second one and the one before the pitlane entry are very sharp and if they have to do like an "almost full stop" turn like we do in the f1 games, then they will certainly face a lot of trouble from Ferrari. It's cool to see the next generation facing each other, these two could dominate the next 10 years of F1 together, an amazing rivalry is getting born.

So I already like the new regulations, the drivers can now finally drive close behind each other again and over several laps without the driver behind being disadvantaged. The fight between Verstappen and Leclerc was on a par and very nice to watch, both drivers were simply top, and you could also see that they are stronger than their team colleagues, so the position at Ferrari will soon be taken, at RedBull it was clear, even if Perez was unlucky in this race.

For the moment yes, they can but in the future who knows, the Aerodynamic will improve again and if will improve a lot the problem caused by the dirty air will come again even if probably less dominant.

The new aerodynamics has reshuffled the cards, but it is fundamentally different than the aerodynamics via wind deflectors and wings before because of the "ground effect". I think it will be much more difficult in the future to change the aerodynamics so that the car behind is negatively affected.

I'll have to read up on why the ground effect was banned in the 1980/90s, perhaps for safety reasons, "porposing"?

Ahead of the Argentine Grand Prix, which might be fun to watch, what moments do you remember from 2015 to 2019?
Because in 2020 and 2021 there are no races taking place there so it will be very interesting to see this year's Race again being held at the Termas De Rio Hondo circuit which is located in Argentina.
Personally, I only remember more about Valentino Rossi who won there in 2015 which had a clash with Marquez until Marquez fell before the race was over.

Modification of the Red Bull Ring track to Turn 2 has been completed with a new chicane added for safety.

"Speed reduction required in #MotoGP in this part of the track." - Herman Tilke ️

#AustrianGP #RedBullRing #Source: crashnet_motogp

I personally really agree with this improvement because considering there have been some very fatal accidents in the past at the grand prix event there and this improvement is solely for the purpose of safety of the drivers this year. What do you all think about this ? is it very good or vice versa.

Again, swogerino might have gotten it wrong because in quali of the Saudi Arabia GP it was both the Ferrari cars that were the fastest in sector 1 which were mostly straights.  Red Bull was fastest at sector 2, the more technical part of the track.  Sector 3 was mixed with Perez the fastest since he might have made a fluke fastest lap at at Q1.  Lol.  But yeah..  You get the point.  We need coinlocket$ to chime in here and confirm.

That Ferrari power unit looks like it could still go faster as the season passes.

I think all cars will improve as the season progresses. It's the start of a new era, and development will be rapid. I expect both Ferrari and Red Bull to bring significant upgrades. So it's too early to call the best car over the whole season. But yeah, at the moment RB and Ferrari are pretty close.

Mercedes have said they're bringing a big upgrade and hope to unlock the potential of the car... but I'm not convinced. It's a huge deficit to make up, particularly when Ferrari and RB will be improving too. Best Merc can hope for is third this season.

I get the hate.  I hate Hamilton too no matter how good he is on the track. [...]  And Alonso was somewhat of a d*ck too in his day when he was winning.

For me one key difference between Hamilton and Verstappen was the way Hamilton handled the aftermath of the fiasco at the end of last season, congratulating Verstappen. If the scenario had been the other way round, there is zero chance Verstappen would have congratulated Hamilton.

Alonso, yeah, he could be a bit of an idiot, but I think his class as a driver more than compensates for that. I just don't rate Verstappen as highly, he's fast, yes, but he doesn't really have any racecraft or tactical nous, he just drives at people and expects them to move out of the way, he's a bit of a blunt instrument.

^  The best engineering teams are Ferrari, Red Bull and Mercedes.  I'd say the most noticeable improvement could come from Mercedes.  Being so dominant in the V6 hybrid era, I don't think they'll just be sitting down and do nothing.  They prolly get another engine mode up or find a loop hole to get an edge.

From a betting perspective, just get ready to bet on Hamilton at quali and the race if you see a sudden shift in momentum.  I don't think Toto Wolff and his boys are done.

Later tonight F1 is going to announce about Las Vegas GP from 20223:
https://twitter.com/F1/status/1509183828593717260
How cool, another city track with 90° turns. I'm already excited. Not. 3 GP's in USA, isn't it's too much?

Is it the same track as the f1 right?

Have they changed only that spot on the track?
From what I read in this article, these changes are mad just for Moto GP:
https://the-race.com/motogp/final-version-of-red-bull-ring-motogp-track-changes-revealed/
F1 and other racing series will use same old layout and for Moto GP they added extra chicane. Red Bull Ring is great track for F1, but it don't suits that well for Moto GP in terms of security.

I think it's not difficult because Indonesia has already a circuit with international scale which can use the young talent to practice. but what is needed is not only that, the racer is must being study from Racer pro and implement the guidelines, so that they are not limited to moto2 and moto3 only.
